The Zilker Lodge

Had the welcome party the night before my wedding at Zilker Lodge and couldn't have been happier with my experience! Five stars doesn't do it justice. Michelle and Andrea were fantastic to work with, very responsive, accommodating, and went out of their way to make our experience perfect. You can tell when someone really takes an interest in making your event perfect versus just providing a service. I've been to other events there as well (social functions, work functions, etc), and have heard similar positive comments from others who booked Zilker Lodge. Plus, the money goes towards providing summer camp to underprivileged kids, which is awesome. Book Zilker Lodge, you won't regret it.

Wow! What a special place. In terms of an authentic Austin wedding experience, I don't think you can get much more perfect than this venue. Heritage oaks sit across the outside of the venue and you're only steps away from Barton Springs & Zilker Park. The indoor facilities really can transform to whatever theme you want. We also found out that all proceeds from this venue also go to support a local Austin non-profit, how cool is that?

The Zilker Lodge was an incredible space in which to celebrate our wedding weekend. The facilities are kept in immaculate condition, the staff is incredibly friendly and supportive in working with your vision, and they have a wonderful covered outdoor area for a sit down dinner or reception. The location can't be beaten! The Lodge is nestled in the southwestern portion of Zilker Park where there is ample parking available and less noise from Barton Springs Road. It is minutes from Downtown and comes at a highly competitive price comparatively to other downtown or south shore venues. It is also the only building in Zilker Park that can be slept in overnight. What a unique and historic property! Did I mention that they have the capacity to sleep over 50 adults on the premises? That's right - your lodging is included in overnight venue rental rates. The cost of AirBnB's and hotels can be astronomical in Austin especially during high traffic weekends. What would be better than having the whole family together to celebrate all weekend? I say: nothing! Actually there is something better: The best thing about the Zilker Lodge is the fact that their rental proceeds help support the Austin Sunshine Camps; ASC is a non-profit organization that serves low-income families by providing the only free overnight camp in the state of Texas to their children. This comes at NO cost to the families. My Wife and I's rental of the facility helped to send several kids to camp in addition to being a wonderful event space. Michelle was a dream to work with; she is such a nice and professional individual. You are in good hands at The Zilker Lodge!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding reception experience by having it at the Zilker Lodge. We were able to serve our catered dinner through the kitchen area which is connected both in and outside of the building. Our guests enjoyed dinner outside under the very beautifully decorated pavilion at the picnic tables before a severe thunderstorm decided to roll in, however we were able to move everything indoors and still had a great time! The fact that we were able to have our guests enjoy themselves both inside and out of the lodge was huge! All the staff were extremely friendly ensuring anything we needed help with was done prior to us setting up the wedding reception. The natural scenic area was with a doubt the icing on the cake!
