Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Tacoma, WA, the Bindery (Tacoma) is a unique wedding venue that combines the charm of an old-world Italian bookshop with an industrial twist. The industrial elements—exposed brick, vintage lighting, and rustic wooden accents—infuse the venue with character, making it ideal for both intimate gatherings and grand celebrations. This enchanting space is perfect for micro weddings, receptions, vow renewals, and rehearsal dinners, offering a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that celebrates love, literature, and community. With the help of our amazing team, we can easily accommodate transitioning the space from ceremony to reception while your guests enjoy a cocktail hour and a good book. The versatility of the space allows us to host events ranging from small elopements and rehearsal dinners to weddings with banquet seating of 80-100 guests, with ample room for a dance floor and congregating. For a more open, cocktail-style reception, we can host up to 120 guests. Our space comes equipped with: Built-in square and arched white backdrops to use for the display of desserts, drinks, floral, or balloon arches. Mezzanine Lounge w/ a bar and licensed bartender, beverage fridge, filtered drinking water, & ice storage. Beautiful Maria Theresa chandeliers & accent lighting throughout the venue. All chandeliers are on dimmers for lighting mood selection. The venue attendant assigned will assist the host in setting the lighting. The venue comes set up with our signature floor plan. Bluetooth JBL speaker system with wireless mic & WiFi. (2) Restrooms stocked with complimentary toiletries & paper products for you and your guests. Venue attendant for the duration of your rental.
