The Grooves were absolutely incredible. The dance floor was packed all night long, and our guests are still talking about how amazing they were. We received countless compliments about the band throughout the night and afterward, and honestly, their videos online don't even do them justice. As huge live music fans who regularly go out to see bands perform, finding an exceptional band was one of the most important things to us, and The Grooves exceeded every expectation. They brought such an incredible energy and played exactly the right mix of music to keep everyone, from our youngest guests to our oldest, on the dance floor all evening. Beyond being phenomenally talented, Bruce was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was responsive, kind, and genuinely so invested in making our day special. He struck the perfect balance between bringing our vision to life and offering thoughtful expert guidance. He was incredibly accommodating with our requests, from helping us incorporate specific songs to finding a wonderful violinist for our ceremony. At the same time, he wasn't afraid to politely push back when he felt there was a better option from a logistical, timing, or overall vibe perspective, and every single time, he was right. His experience and professionalism were invaluable throughout the planning process. On the day itself, everything was perfect. The volume was just right, the transitions were seamless, and the atmosphere they created was joyful and electric from start to finish. They also did a beautiful job with our first dance, father-daughter dance, and last dance, making those moments truly unforgettable. The band was rocking the entire night and was unquestionably a major highlight of our wedding. We would recommend Bruce and his band without hesitation. Truly a 10/10 experience. We couldn't have imagined a better band for our wedding day.

We cannot recommend The Grooves enough! They were absolutely amazing from start to finish at our wedding reception. They provided a jazz trio during cocktail hour and then transitioned into a 7-piece band for the reception dancing, and both were incredible. They had every single guest — from 3-year-olds to grandparents — on the dance floor all night long. They did such a great job reading the room and tailoring their song choices to the crowd, which kept the energy up the entire evening. They were engaging, fun, and created such an unforgettable atmosphere. They also performed our first dance and parent dances live, which made those moments feel even more special. Throughout the entire planning process, their communication was seamless and professional. One thing we especially appreciated was that they provided us with a recording of their practice session for our first dance so my husband and I could practice beforehand — such a thoughtful touch! We received so many compliments from our guests about the band. Multiple people mentioned how engaging they were and how perfect the volume level was — energetic and lively without being overly loud, so guests could still comfortably hold conversations. If you are considering booking The Grooves for your wedding or event, do it — they exceeded every expectation!
