I am an entrepreneur and hair and makeup artist based in the Chicago land area where I was born and raised. I am a full time speech-language pathologist and a freelance HMUA. I had been inspired by hair and makeup at a young age through dance classes. Since then, I turned a hobby into a business! I enjoy being a fraction of a couple's big day as I glam-up my brides. Regardless of the event (i.e., wedding, photoshoot, baby/bridal shower) I strive to achieve TheLook of my client's desires. I am looking forward to being a part of many more special days!

Rainu is an absolute GEM!!! She did an incredible job with my hair and makeup and really made me feel special on my wedding day. I got so many compliments!!! I truly felt beautiful. She went above and beyond when it came to helping me with my jewelry and bridal draping. I don’t know much about makeup and hair but Rainu provided great guidance on my overall look. I truly felt like the most beautiful princess on my wedding day. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for a beautiful and customizable hair and make up look.

Rainu did my makeup for both my engagement and my wedding, which was out of state. I HIGHLY recommend booking her, especially if you are an Indian girlie looking for high quality beautiful hair and makeup. After doing an overpriced trial with a local HMUA in the area of my wedding, I decided to fly Rainu out because I knew her work was good from my engagement. She was so flexible, accommodating and put in the extra effort on the day-of to make sure I looked amazing. I received so many compliments on my looks and also felt so confident and loved my pictures. She had listened to all of my inspo and ideas for my hair and makeup but was also able to adapt on the day-of based on how everything actually looked on me. Her pricing is very reasonable and she was great to work with. I was very happy with her services.

Rainu was wonderful! She was very professional, punctual, and friendly to work with. Some of my bridesmaids were initially nervous about working with their curly hair or not getting a natural look, but she quickly put their mind to ease.

Rainu was amazing! She was extremely professional, timely, and helped me choose great options for my wedding day. I didn't have time to do a trial because I flew in from out of state, but Rainu worked hard to help me come up with a wedding day hair and makeup look. My look lasted from 6 am to midnight and was gorgeous through all my pictures. She's the best!

Rainu was great on multiple occasions for me, especially for my wedding! She's nice, listens to your ideas/suggestions, and does you hair and make up so well. I loved it each time she has done those for me, and i never stressed on the outcome because it always turns out soo good! This was especially nice to be stress free when it came to my wedding day. I 100% recommend her for hair and make up!

I hired her again for wedding. She did my hair and make up for the garba and hair for wedding/reception. I can’t recommend Rainu enough to anyone!!
She is such a sweet and amazing personality to work with.
She customized my hairstyle for the wedding. She put real flowers on my hair. Overall she is super talented. I loved every look she created. I just gave her how I was feeling and she created the vision for me.

It was so great to work with TheLook! Rainu made sure every part of my wedding look and my bridesmaids’ looks were exactly how I envisioned it. And it came out so beautifully!! Not only that, the makeup looked just as fresh even 15 hours later after all the partying and dancing! :) Her and her team did an amazing job! I would 100% recommend booking TheLook for all your hair and makeup needs!

Rainu was a pleasure to work with! I didn’t have a hair trial with her but she was so professional and friendly and was keen on correcting as she went which meant a lot! She was open to feedback and in the end she KILLED it. Highly recommend her as your hair stylist for your wedding or next event.

Rainu did a FANTASTIC job on my wedding day! All my bridesmaids were impressed with her work. My makeup lasted all day, even through a few tears. My hair remained perfect and my tiara was secure through windy photoshoots and dancing. I would definitely recommend her services. She is super easy to work with and you will look AMAZING! 🤩

Rainu did my hair and makeup for our engagement shoot and our wedding. There was also other makeup artist who worked with Rainu to do hair and makeup for the mother of the bride and our bridesmaids. She is certainly a pleasure to work with and very understanding. She listens to what you have to say about the kind of look you're going for and is very patient. She has different packages to choose from which I thought was priced fairly as well. The day of our wedding, she was there on time and also worked really fast without compromising the quality of her work despite the large wedding party. Would recommend TheLook anytime!

Rainu was the best! She’s always on time (even though each event started super early) and completely prepared. She did my bridal hair and makeup for my mehndi party and then did my mom and sister in law's hair and makeup for the other 3 events. She always did a BEAUTIFUL job and is a pleasure to interact with.

Rainu did my hair and makeup on my wedding day. She was professional and friendly, so easy to talk to. Additionally, she really listened to what I wanted and made it happen. I wanted to have a natural look and still look like myself and on my wedding day I felt so beautiful. The foundation she used on me was like the perfect shade and that was one of the things I was worried about and she got it right!
I would recommend The Look HMUA to any bride that wants a glam look or a natural look.

I was able to have Rainu for my engagement and wedding ceremony. From the start Rainu built great communication with us. She was able to execute what I had in my mind. I only had to send her some details of the style I wanted and Rainu was able to manage well with my hair and makeup. Rainu’s work is professional as she is very detailed and takes her time with her work to get it exactly right. I enjoyed working her as my vendor! She was very accountable and I didn’t have to worry.
