I was as hands off as possible, and good god that's what I wanted. I can't recommend Morgan enough.

We weren't crazy about a lot of the standard wedding "traditions," and she was so kind and her expertise helped us really pull everything together to be exactly what we wanted. Many people may enjoy planning for events such as a wedding, but I am not one of those people. Morgan made the intricate journey refreshing. The wedding planning process and our wedding day wouldn't have been what it was without her...and let me just add, our wedding received "the most stunning wedding" award in our area from those who attended, and even those that didn't. I could write a million more words to convince you that you need her for your wedding, but you'll be convinced on your own the second you pick up the phone and give her a call.

I originally booked her for month of coordination but after postponing, I decided to upgrade to a partial planning package and I’m so glad I did. I loved having her at the wedding and all of my bridesmaid just adored her. I had quite a troubled wedding day because the venue was being difficult and Morgan worked her magic and offered us safe wisdom and my husband and I had a beautiful day. I was getting the best deal. Not only did she do her job, but she took on the roles of therapist, mediator, and transportation as well! We started as strangers, became friends through the planning process, and months later, we are family. She is dedicated, prompt, and most of all, kind. ave asked for a better team to help with month of coordination. Morgan is extremely organized, a great communicator, and worked so closely with our other vendors. So much so that the few weeks leading up to the wedding I was extremely calm knowing she had everything under control. She even took a call with me a few months before as I was feeling stressed and behind in my planning, talking me through a checklist and sending me additional material to help get through the final few months. The day of went without a single hitch, and I credit so much of that to Morgan!

before hiring her and it was a difficult venue to work with to say the least (and the only vendor recommendation not made by her) but she handled it like a pro both leading up to the wedding day and on the day of. We dealt with staff turnover, confusion over the space available, confusion from the site staff during final walkthrough, a thunderstorm on the wedding day...all sorts of things. I also needed Morgan to help me be realistic about what was and wasn't a necessary expense, and she was always very honest about where to spend and where to save, which was crucial for me. She's incredibly kind and straightforward - traits every bride needs when planning a wedding. I'd definitely recommend her!

She also is incredibly kind, calm, and reassured us so much whenever we had any issues with other vendors--all great qualities in a wedding planner! That being said, the reason this review is only for 3 stars is because we had serious mismatches between our expectations of what "full planning" meant, and what we received. Part of this is on us--we discussed this with her before signing our contract but didn't get many details in writing--but we did routinely run into issues where we had to reach out for things that we thought would be included, and some of those things we never got to the extent we expected (like a budget. We received a template but it was never maintained). We thought that this would be made up for on our actual event, but we again had unmet expectations about how much guidance she provided on the rehearsal/day of. The biggest piece of negative feedback we received from our guests was that they were unsure of where they were supposed to be/doing, something I even wasn't sure of about myself at certain points! We thought that Morgan would make sure this sort of thing wouldn't happen, but for our particular group of guests/wedding party, I believe we needed someone a bit more assertive/aggressive than Morgan to keep everyone in line. Overall, Morgan is incredibly sweet, has amazing taste/recommendations, and was a great sounding board when things got very overwhelming, but we did not receive the level of support we had anticipated, and I do not think that our personalities meshed in terms of keeping the wedding party/guests in line on our actual wedding day.

Organizing a large family and our guests demanded a strong voice when things got hectic. Her calm rubbed off on bride and brides mama!!! Morgan handled everything about moving our entire dance floor inside while everyone was eating without my husband or me noticing anything. As we got closer to the date, my nerves started to set in about making sure everything was completed. Morgan reassured me not only in kind words but with a full outline of all the vendors and timeline of the day. On the day of Morgan was only a short call or text away for any of our needs before arriving at the venue. She was able to wrangle and organize our crazy families into order for the pre-wedding photos and line-up for the ceremony. And gracefully guided us through the rest of the night. It all went so beautifully and we know it couldn't have happened without Morgan by our sides.
