Theodora Bourikas Bridal Hairstylist

I met Theodora at a Sally Beauty where I used to work a few years ago, so were are on a familiar basis. I ran into her at a different job I had over a year ago and mentioned I was getting married. She gave me her card and I felt comfortable because I knew her already and booked right off the bat after I contacted her. I am so glad that I did. I blindly trusted her judgement and she fixed my hair for my bridal shower and it was absolutely beautiful. I was worried because I have very fine, silky, limp hair and she made it stunning and lasted all day. My wedding is soon and I cannot wait for her to take care of my bridesmaids and make my hair beautiful for my big day. She is so fun to be around, nice, available when you have any questions and a wonderful choice to choose for any event. I recommend her strongly. She is incredible. -Bria

Theodora was brilliant! She is organized, sweet, professional and did an amazing job. I hired her and she came to my apartment in Chicago for my hair trial. She then came to my venue and provided hair services to myself, all 6 of my bridesmaids and my mom for my April wedding. Everyone looked gorgeous and the hair styles stayed all day. We just got our pictures back and her work speaks for itself. I would highly recommend Theodora for any hair needs!

Admittedly, I should have written this review much sooner! Our wedding was September 25, 2016 and Theodora did an amazing job on my hair. I loved working with her from the very beginning and on the day of my trial, we really hit it off. I found a style that I liked on Pinterest, and Theodora really listened to what I wanted and recreated the look beautifully. She was also very thorough, asking about the hair textures of my bridesmaids, mom and mother-in-law to prepare for the wedding day. And so, when that special day came, I knew we were all in good hands! Our hair looked beautiful. She is such a warm, kind, and professional person. I would recommend Theodora to anyone for any event! :-)

Theodora was amazing! She did hair for me (the bride), 3 bridesmaids, and my mother on my wedding day on April 12. I found Theodora online, and she had nothing less than stellar Yelp reviews. I went to her apartment for a trial run in February, and brought some pictures to show her what I had in mind. She took the ideas I had and made a style that I loved and worked with my hair. I have long, blonde hair that is very thick, heavy, and straight. I wanted to wear my hair down and in loose curls, something my hair does not naturally like to do at all! Theodora made it happen, and gave me a lot of advice about what shampoo I should use and mousse I could put in my hair the night before to help maximize the life of the hairstyle. On the day of the wedding, she came to our hotel to do hair. She showed up right on time, and stayed right on schedule the whole day. All of my bridesmaids and my mother's hair looked beautiful, and when she was done she touched up everybody's hair, including a couple of bridesmaids who had done their hair themselves or had their own stylist do it. I loved my hair the day of, and the veil and parts of it that were pinned back stayed in place all night long, even though we had a very windy picture session, outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour! Same for all the bridesmaids. Theodora was absolutely awesome. She's truly a professional at what she does, and is great about explaining what she's doing and why she's doing it. She's also very friendly and likable. Her services are also very, very reasonable! For myself, 4 others, and a tip I spent less than $500. I don't know if her rates were lower because our wedding was off season, but we got very high quality service at a very reasonable cost! I'd recommend Theodora to anybody!
