Thicket Creative is a wedding floral design service based in the Chattanooga area.
I approach every wedding as unique with my background in fine art guiding my eye for color and design. I love helping create florals that reflect the personality of each couple, so if you want joyful and memorable flowers that will catch the eye of your guests and make your wedding stand out, that is exactly what I'm here for.
Thicket does varying scale events, but the focus is always on sustainability and making our contribution to the event truly personal. Blooms are sourced locally whenever possible, and no single use containers or products are used in the designs. My goal is to let the blooms shine and retain their natural beauty, so my design style leans towards the organic and wild, with a deep appreciation for the colorful and the unusual. While I do not have a minimum, my average wedding is around $4,000. I also offer full seasonal packages from April-September that are fully a-la-carte.
Thicket Creative is available for travel. We regularly do events in Atlanta and Chattanooga but are available for surrounding areas as well.

ding, and we had a combination of beautiful peonies, daffodils, delphiniums, cosmos, poppies, and more in our floral arrangements. I love flowers but get overwhelmed by decisions and get be indecisive, so booking the seasonal floral package was perfect for me. I know I could trust Evan to put together something beautiful. My favorite part of the flowers for the weekend was the beautiful delphinium and peony arrangement creeping up the stone pillars at our ceremony altar (a floral design completely envisioned by Evan). I will upload more photos once I have them, but I am so happy with the results! Also, weddings are so full of waste that it felt lovely to have one aspect be local and sustainable. I loved the surprise of seeing what Evan and her team came up with day of!

a long way to go on that journey. We mentioned this priority to a photographer and she recommended Evan (Thicket Creative)!
Evan completely met our vision (and more, because to be honest, I didn’t give her much to go on). I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

m the very first consultation, Evan listened intently to our vision and provided invaluable insights and recommendations.
One of the standout aspects was how easy they were to work with. They were extremely responsive and accommodating, making the entire process seamless. They communicated clearly and were available to answer our questions and address any concerns.
The floral arrangements were nothing short of spectacular. Each piece was meticulously designed, showcasing an exquisite blend of colors and textures that perfectly matched our theme. The bouquets, centerpieces, and décor added a touch of elegance and sophistication that left our guests in awe.
What truly set Evan apart was their attention to detail and dedication to perfection. They went above and beyond to ensure that every flower was fresh and beautifully arranged. Their commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of their work.
Evan not only met but exceeded our expectations, making our wedding day a dream come true.
Thank you, for your exceptional artistry and for making our wedding day so magical. We wholeheartedly recommend your services to anyone looking for top-notch floral design and someone that is extremely easy to work with.

ur desire for colorful arrangements / unique floral arrangements and exceeded our expectations with the end results. From our venue florals to my bridal bouquet - it is apparent how much Evan pours her creativity and passion into every single detail.
She is incredibly thoughtful and intentional in all of her design decisions - and extremely transparent with her clients when it comes to pricing and end results. So many of our guests told us that we had the most beautiful floral arrangements they had ever seen - and still talk about them months later.
I also admire how Evan centers her business around sustainability, local sourcing, and reusability - she is so passionate about every facet of her business.
Booking Evan was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. We talked to many, many florists - and after speaking with Evan, I knew immediately she would be the best person to bring our vision to life (and then some!). She is truly the best!

ility. Evan arrived to the venue on time and immediately got to work while showing us grace by starting in the reception space vs. the ceremony site due to the arbor not being set out yet because of weather. Evan worked quickly all while paying attention to detail. The reception and arbor flowers looked amazing and the bud vases made perfect guest favors at the end of night. My bride was extremely pleased with how her florals turned out and said that Evan perfectly understood her vision and inspiration.

of our color palette beyond having emerald green as the centerpiece. She helped us create the rest of the palette that ended up inspiring all the other facets of our wedding! She worked within our budget so seamlessly and helped us understand realistically what was and wasn't possible. She came up with great ideas (like beautiful bell jars to make it feel more like a fairytale) that our guests loved!! She also was very flexible with us, incorporating vases that a friend made with ease. We can't recommend working with her enough!!

gram and was in love with her unique style, but even then I never imagined beforehand how BREATHTAKING the arrangements were going to turn out. She met with me, listened to all of my ideas and helped me create a mood board prior to the wedding, always promptly answered emails, was always on time and had awesome energy. She understood the assignment and I am soooooo happy I found her. I will forever be grateful when I look back at photos for how she made my wedding absolutely gorgeous and unique and just WOW. Thank you, Evan!!!!!

ething I didn't like or wanted to tweak she was very open and easy to work with. I was able to come to her with some non floral related questions when I needed help figuring out what plates and flatware I should choose to go with my theme/ideas and she was very happy to help steer me in the right direction.
Our florals were gorgeous and they got so many compliments from guests. I loved my bouquet, all the lanterns and table decor she utilized as well as my asymmetrical arbor florals. My guests were raving about the flowers and all the details all evening. She was instrumental in creating my dream wedding and she was also an affordable option. One floral vendor told me my budget wasn't realistic and I would need to basically change my whole wedding to maybe get close :/ but Evan was able to give me a very lovely floral design for my budget, I am confident she can help brides at all different price points.
Totally still dreaming of my bouquet and the florals and decor she put on my tables.

le was organic, artistic and unique and that's exactly what she delivered for our day. One of the best parts of working with Evan was knowing I could fully trust her with creating something beautiful, interesting, and unique! Working with Evan makes you feel like everything's taken care of. I wanted to do mismatched bridesmaids' dresses with a loose color palette, told her I loved Ranunculus and had her take it from there, and when I got to the venue and saw the set up, I wanted to cry I was so happy!
Evan's the perfect person to work with if you want something really unique and special for your floral arrangements. Thank you for everything <3

ly make my day stand out. Evan did just that and more! My bouquet was the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen, and I still want to cry looking back at the photos of all the arrangements and installations we did. I loved working with Evan and recommend her to anyone looking for a super creative florist for their big day!
We are still in awe of how amazing our flowers looked on our big day!! Evan went above and beyond and made every inch of our venue look perfect! I couldn’t believe it when I took a...
sneak peak of the reception during cocktail hour - she executed everything flawlessly. We picked Thicket Creative because we loved Evan’s organic style and that I was able to give little direction and she knew exactly what I was envisioning. I also was able to tell her “I want brass and glass containers and a ton of candlelight” and I didn’t have to worry about selecting every single container or overthinking the decor. You can trust that she has the best taste and will ensure that you are in love with your florals + decor on your big day. Everything came together beautifully and even better, everything was very reasonably priced. I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend Thicket Creative to anyone planning a wedding!

te. When we first spoke to her, she asked us thoughtful questions which made us understand what we actually wanted at the wedding. We wanted greenery and succulents and Evan helped add a much needed splash of color to our mostly green decor. She incorporated succulents in the bouquets, boutonnières, table arrangements and the wedding arch! I still have some of these succulents and they are thriving! She was so coopoerative and willing to work with us! She met us a week before the wedding so we could give her some handmade ceramics, and she made our vases look gorgeous with her arrangements. She also made sure to work within our budget and make the venue look spectacular!
