r our guests that everyone could eat the cake! The cake was delicious, and many of my guests commented on how good it was. The team also took my idea of making the cake match my dress, with a very rough sketch I made and some detailed photos of the train and did an amazing job of making it a reality! It was really a showstopper, and I couldn't be happier. The whole process from tasting, to design, to billing, to reality was as smooth as could be. The team at Third Coast is great and I highly recommend them.

ten Free, Celiac- so I never would have imagined being able to actually get to eat my wedding cake and was not that interested in getting one. After I found Third Coast I was so excited! So many amazing flavor options, the tasting kit was shipped to us and we had so much fun deciding on flavors! My husband is not GF nor was any of the people at the wedding who ate the cake, and no one could have ever guessed! If you are familiar with Gluten Free treats, that says a lot. Overall I could not recommend Third Coast enough. We just wanted a simple yet beautiful cake and they delivered, not pressuring or up selling us into anything we didn’t want. I have recommended Third Coast to all of my GF friends because there’s no one better!

They were also wonderful about working with us to accommodate some uncommon allergies for a few of our guests, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We had three different flavors of cupcakes and all three were spectacularly delicious! I don't plan on getting married again, but if I ever need desserts for any other event in the upper Michigan area, Third Coast will definitely be my go-to!

We had the vanilla filled with strawberry and pumpkin spice flavors frosted with vanilla buttercream and it was delicious beyond words. Some of my guests had their doubts about how good a vegan and gluten free wedding cake could taste. Everyone agreed during the cake service that the cake was one of the best they had ever tasted. We did have to compromise on the frosting color but the simple white with pipped detail was elegant and beautiful. Heather called to finalize our order the weekend before the wedding and to confirm she had received our stand and topper, both of which she treated with respect and care. Thank you Third Coast!

She worked with us and our deposit to create the most delicious favor display for our guests. We were able to have so many options, including a Traverse City Cherry Pie that was gone in seconds!!! Many of our couples are looking for alternative dessert options that meet their dietary and allergy needs, and it's so easy to recommend Third Coast Bakery because their products are truly 100% allergen free. I usually don't recommend traditional wedding bakeries for items like gluten free, dairy free, or vegan desserts because it can be really difficult to get the textures and tastes right and consistent with traditional cakes. Third Coast Bakery is the only shop in our area that specializes in these products making them a great fit when our clients have special requests. rcream frosting had a funny flavor to it and when I called to ask what they use, they said "palm oil shortening" and you can definitely taste it in most flavors. They couldn't send the pastry cream filling because it wouldn't last in the mail. but this is the main issue I have with them. I asked why they use eggs in their pastry cream but not use real ingredients in their buttercream. their response was "we're only 95% vegan". Not going with them for the wedding cake...

My husband does not need to be gluten free, but continues to say this was the best cake he has ever had. I can honestly say my his FAVORITE part of all our planning, was the cake tasting! We were planning our wedding from out of town and the communication was seamless- I always felt that my order was in great hands. The Third Coast team was beyond accommodating, gracious and a true delight to work with! We always make a stop when we are in Traverse City for all of their delicious goodies. Throughout my search, I have yet to find another bakery who competes with the goods produced at Third Coast. THEY ARE AMAZING. The best part? My husband loves them too! Therefore, when we selected Third Coast to make our wedding cakes/cupcakes, we were so excited to go taste their options and discuss our vision. Heather, the owner, was SO friendly and helpful throughout the process - especially since we changed our minds several times from start to end. Truly, our Third Coast cupcakes were one of the best parts of our wedding; our guests RAVED about them. We had several different flavors of cake and icing, and our guests appreciated having options. They were also very helpful because we are a military couple and couldn’t make it to Michigan to taste cakes they were able to ship us our cake tastings all the way to Georgia, wonderful company! 10/10!!

a bakery to create a dessert selection for my wedding. I then discovered Third Coast bakery and have to say, to be able to have items that were friendly to my food parameters, was simply a dream. We catered cookies and brownies for our wedding rehearsal and pie for our wedding dessert and everything was baked to perfection. We had SO many compliments on the food, and the funniest part about it was we didn't even tell most of our guests they were eating these allergy-friendly treats. However, the highlight of this experience was knowing my many friends and family members who did have food allergies could safely consume these treats without any worries. Knowing that everything is baked in a facility with no cross-contamination was a concern of mine and to be able to enjoy the desserts knowing I wouldn't have any reactions for my wedding was the biggest blessing of my weekend. Heather was timely, professional and organized while we discussed my ideas (we live in Florida and the wedding was in Traverse City) prior to meeting in person. I highly recommend working with her team, regardless if you experience multiple allergies like myself. You will not be disappointed. In fact, we missed Third Coast's treats so much we ordered treats to serve at our Thanksgiving Day in Florida! Everyone approved :)

Bakery for your wedding desserts or any other occasion!

erse City farmers market one weekend, and I am so glad we did! Heather and her staff were very nice, accommodating, and patient during the whole process. We chose not to go with a cake and instead had cupcakes and several pies for our dessert selection. We were able to get our flavor (cupcake, filling, and icing) choices mailed to us out of state so we could make our final cupcake flavor combination choices. We also had a Sunday brunch for our wedding guests and had scones, donuts, and other goodies available. Everything that Third Coast bakery makes tastes amazing! I would highly recommend Third Coast bakery, even if you don't have any dietary restrictions to consider.
