We LOVED having Thirsty Burros at our wedding. I booked them as a surprise for my husband and Jennifer was so accommodating and excited to be a part of our wedding day. I really can’t say enough good things about my experience with Thirsty Burros. The donkeys, Blush and Rosie were so precious, they were so mellow and easily mingled with all of our guests. The baskets were always stocked and looked great for photos. Jennifer and the other handlers were super friendly and social, they were happy to answer questions and make sure all of our guests were able to get photos and pet the donkeys. It really was such a fun addition to our wedding and it is the one thing that our friends and family continue to talk about the most. I would highly recommend Thirsty Burros for any event!
Thirsty Burros was one of the absolute best vendors of our May 2026 wedding! Truly such a hit with our guests!! Cash and Gracie were the cutest surprise at our cocktail hour, and everyone was obsessed. They were so well‑behaved, kept the drinks cold and stocked, and brought so much joy and personality to the day.
Diana & Jennifer made the entire process seamless. They were easy to communicate with, handled coordination and setup effortlessly, and offered flexible outfit and décor options for the donkeys, plus customizable signs which made everything even more fun.
Adding Thirsty Burros to our wedding was such a memorable and unique touch. We had a blast with them, and our guests are still talking about it!! I would highly recommend this for any special celebration or couple’s big day. Just make sure to reach out early, their spots fill up fast!

Based out of Winchester, CA, Thirsty Burros is a bar, beverage, and wedding favor service (and more).
We are Southern California's original and premier entertainment (beer burros) beverage donkeys that started it all! We are husband and wife (RBS Certified, as required by the State of California)[Responsibility Beverage Service] handlers that lead our pet miniature burros around your event and offer water, beer bottles, juice boxes, wine, drinks/party favors (your choice) to your guests from their pack saddles. We assist in taking pictures with them, answer any questions, as well as allow as much petting and affection as you can give them.
Outfitted with custom saddle pack baskets and coordinated costumes (options available), our miniature friendly burros will be a welcoming sight to see for your guests at any event. They go everywhere - hotels, restaurants, homes, wedding venues, etc... Perfect for any sort of occasion, including a rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour. They are a great way to entertain your guests during weddings, birthdays, business events, private parties, holiday parties, western-themed or Cinco De Mayo celebrations. They are also used for children's birthday parties, with alcoholic beverages being replaced by kid-friendly juice boxes, drinks, or candy bags. Our burros have been used as a fun form of transportation to distribute wedding goodies in their saddle baskets, or just to provide ambiance and photo opportunities to your guests.
