About this vendor
At Thirteen Acres Weddings, I believe the best wedding photos are the ones that make you feel something. My goal is to capture the genuine emotions, meaningful moments, and unique details that tell the story of your wedding day exactly as it happened.
I'm Bryn Hummell, the owner and photographer behind Thirteen Acres Weddings. Since photographing my first weddings in 2014, I've had the privilege of documenting love stories for couples who value authentic, heartfelt imagery. My photography style is rooted in candid storytelling, focusing on real moments rather than overly posed photos. I use gentle prompts to help couples feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, creating images that reflect their true personalities and connection.
Wedding days can move quickly, and I understand how important it is to have a photographer who can adapt, stay calm under pressure, and keep things running smoothly. From the excitement of getting ready to the emotion of your ceremony and the celebration on the dance floor, I work to capture both the big moments and the small details that make your day uniquely yours.
When you work with me, you'll have more than just a photographer—you'll have someone who genuinely cares about your experience. I strive to create a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere so you can focus on celebrating with the people you love while I preserve the memories you'll cherish for years to come.
Whether you're planning an intimate ceremony or a full-day celebration, I'm dedicated to providing beautiful, timeless images that allow you to relive your wedding day for a lifetime.
If you're looking for a photographer who values authenticity, embraces the unexpected, and isn't afraid to join you on the dance floor, Thirteen Acres Weddings would be honored to tell your story.

We truly cannot recommend Thirteen Acres Weddings enough! Our photographer, Bryn, was included through Cherry Barc Farm, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience worki...
ng with her.
From our very first interaction, she was professional, kind, and incredibly easy to communicate with. She came to us with a clear, well thought out standard photography schedule, which immediately made us feel confident and taken care of, but what really stood out was how open and flexible she was in adjusting that schedule to align with our priorities.
For us, getting photos with our 5 dogs first was most important, followed closely by our couple portraits, and she fully embraced that. She genuinely prioritized whatever mattered most to us and made sure the timeline reflected our preferences rather than forcing a one size fits all approach. That level of care and customization meant so much to us.
On the day of our wedding, she brought such a calm, positive presence. She was organized without being intrusive, guided us when we needed direction, and captured so many beautiful candid moments that truly reflect who we are as a couple. She didn’t miss a single important detail.
One of the most meaningful parts of our experience was how thoughtfully and enthusiastically she included our dogs in the photos. She was patient, flexible, and genuinely excited to capture those moments, which made the entire experience feel fun and stress-free. Those photos are some of our absolute favorites and are truly priceless to us.
When we received our gallery, we were blown away. Every image was stunning - beautifully edited, natural, and emotional. Looking through them felt like reliving the entire day all over again.
If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented, professional, adaptable, and truly invested in telling your story, Bryn is wonderful to work with. We are beyond grateful and will cherish these photos forever 💙
I cannot stop looking at my wedding photos! We are so happy that we are able to relive the moments captured in these pictures, and my Dad told me today that every single picture is...
perfect. Bryn and Team are so talented at capturing the emotion of every moment.
Honestly, I hate having my picture taken, but I feel confident and beautiful just as you should as the bride, and I have Bryn to thank for that.
13 Acres Photography are so considerate of your story, how you want to see yourselves, what you want to remember about your special day, cherishing you, and making you feel like you have become a part of their family.
Please, consider doing your engagement photos, a wedding video, and other photo shoots with Bryn and 13 Acres Photography. If we lived in the area, I would have Bryn be our primary photographer.
We are eternally grateful to you all. Thank you so much!

h was great given how awkward me and my husband are. We're bad at the cute romantic stuff but Bryn was always fabulous in helping direct for poses and the work is lovely! highly recommend!
We were the most disappointed in the video. The footage of the video did not have an extensive amount on top of the ceremony, even though there was taping supposedly happening the ...
entire time. The footage was grainy for the most part and not great sound quality for the ceremony and mostly very close up. The remainder of the footage had music playing over it for a lot of the video and instead of breaking the music for any exchanges between my husband and I or special guests, the music was paused more than one time for the commentary of the photography/video team, which isn’t what we want or need to remember for the day and over all didn't make it a professional quality product.
We were also a bit disappointed in the quality of photos we received for the wedding, compared to our engagement photos as well as what photos are advertised on their portfolio. We were happy to get a handful of nice photographs, but overall the photos, especially indoor (and it was a rainy day, so this was most) lacked the right color/exposure. Many had a yellow cast to them and were not well focused overall. Other concerns included very few of the formal photos showed any of the extensive lace detailing of my wedding dress, some had strange shadows around our eyes, etc.
Our engagement photos were much higher quality in color, clarity and exposure in general so the product from the wedding was even more surprising. We were able to get a few pictures that we consider well done and keepsakes, but disappointed at those photos that could have been exceptional that just didn’t reach expectations.
I also reached out to Bryn after the wedding expressing my concerns, noted word for word above, and the response was unprofessional. She stated we had been told they were "only natural light photographers" which was untrue, as both of our venues were inside, we would not have chosen them, that their video equipment was broken that day, that brides don't always like all of their photos, etc. I was either blocked from reviewing on facebook after emailing her my concerns or the review option has now been removed completely.
Bryn was amazing!! Easy to get along with and quickly turned into someone we all were very comfortable with!! She got so many photos and captured a ton of moments I missed!! Afford...
