At Thirteen Acres Weddings, I believe the best wedding photos are the ones that make you feel something. My goal is to capture the genuine emotions, meaningful moments, and unique details that tell the story of your wedding day exactly as it happened.
I'm Bryn Hummell, the owner and photographer behind Thirteen Acres Weddings. Since photographing my first weddings in 2014, I've had the privilege of documenting love stories for couples who value authentic, heartfelt imagery. My photography style is rooted in candid storytelling, focusing on real moments rather than overly posed photos. I use gentle prompts to help couples feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, creating images that reflect their true personalities and connection.
Wedding days can move quickly, and I understand how important it is to have a photographer who can adapt, stay calm under pressure, and keep things running smoothly. From the excitement of getting ready to the emotion of your ceremony and the celebration on the dance floor, I work to capture both the big moments and the small details that make your day uniquely yours.

From our very first interaction, she was professional, kind, and incredibly easy to communicate with. She came to us with a clear, well thought out standard photography schedule, which immediately made us feel confident and taken care of, but what really stood out was how open and flexible she was in adjusting that schedule to align with our priorities.
For us, getting photos with our 5 dogs first was most important, followed closely by our couple portraits, and she fully embraced that. She genuinely prioritized whatever mattered most to us and made sure the timeline reflected our preferences rather than forcing a one size fits all approach. That level of care and customization meant so much to us.
On the day of our wedding, she brought such a calm, positive presence. She was organized without being intrusive, guided us when we needed direction, and captured so many beautiful candid moments that truly reflect who we are as a couple. She didn’t miss a single important detail.
One of the most meaningful parts of our experience was how thoughtfully and enthusiastically she included our dogs in the photos. She was patient, flexible, and genuinely excited to capture those moments, which made the entire experience feel fun and stress-free. Those photos are some of our absolute favorites and are truly priceless to us.
When we received our gallery, we were blown away. Every image was stunning - beautifully edited, natural, and emotional. Looking through them felt like reliving the entire day all over again.

We were the most disappointed in the video. The footage of the video did not have an extensive amount on top of the ceremony, even though there was taping supposedly happening the ...
entire time. The footage was grainy for the most part and not great sound quality for the ceremony and mostly very close up. The remainder of the footage had music playing over it for a lot of the video and instead of breaking the music for any exchanges between my husband and I or special guests, the music was paused more than one time for the commentary of the photography/video team, which isn’t what we want or need to remember for the day and over all didn't make it a professional quality product.
We were also a bit disappointed in the quality of photos we received for the wedding, compared to our engagement photos as well as what photos are advertised on their portfolio. We were happy to get a handful of nice photographs, but overall the photos, especially indoor (and it was a rainy day, so this was most) lacked the right color/exposure. Many had a yellow cast to them and were not well focused overall. Other concerns included very few of the formal photos showed any of the extensive lace detailing of my wedding dress, some had strange shadows around our eyes, etc.
Our engagement photos were much higher quality in color, clarity and exposure in general so the product from the wedding was even more surprising. We were able to get a few pictures that we consider well done and keepsakes, but disappointed at those photos that could have been exceptional that just didn’t reach expectations.
I also reached out to Bryn after the wedding expressing my concerns, noted word for word above, and the response was unprofessional. She stated we had been told they were "only natural light photographers" which was untrue, as both of our venues were inside, we would not have chosen them, that their video equipment was broken that day, that brides don't always like all of their photos, etc. I was either blocked from reviewing on facebook after emailing her my concerns or the review option has now been removed completely.
