They truly made our day so easy and helped bring some peace during all of the wedding chaos. The sneak peak photos came back within 2 days and they are TOO GOOD. They are actually making my job way too hard on picking photos to print and post lol. We cannot wait to see all of the photos and videos to come because we know they are going to be insane. Their editing and colors are absolutely top tier, so crisp and clean. I can go on and on about this team they truly are the best in the business!

We first met Mark when he shot our engagement photos, and he immediately put us at ease. While taking our photos, we felt incredibly comfortable with his directions, and we had fun throughout the entire process. When we received our engagement photos, we loved them. Mark not only made my wife look beautiful, but he also captured the scenic location around us. One year later, Mark and Tom photographed our wedding. Once again, we had a great time with Mark and Tom. Our bridal parties had fun with both guys, and their direction made it easy to take photos before our wedding. Mark kept us on schedule, but we never felt rushed or frantic as we took photos with our friends and family. My wife and I were particularly happy with the location of our first look. Despite the rain, Mark and his team set up the location perfectly, and it was a special moment that we’ll never forget. During our ceremony, Mark and Tom flawlessly captured the look we desired. Their photos were intimate without being intrusive. My wife and I were able to enjoy the moment, and we felt confident that their team would preserve anything we missed. We particularly loved how Mark shot our first look of our reception room and our cake-cutting. Again, Mark took photos in a way that captured the elegance of our decor. Our cake-cutting photos were particularly beautiful, and now we have photos that remind us of the perfection of that private moment. Once the party got started, Mark and Tom were on the dance floor the entire time with our guests, and our band and DJ. Our experience with this insane idea started at our best friends wedding 2 years ago in October 2021. Working with Mark that day I made a mental note - he HAD to be apart of our wedding in the future. Fast forward 2 years later he was the second vendor we booked after our wedding venue. Where do I start with this review. Mark is AMAZING. I met him when he was the photographer at my best friends wedding. I could tell immediately that he was the person I wanted to photograph my big day. He is professional, hilarious, talented and just the best. He truly cares about the small details which is so important because the bride and groom are so busy all day. Mark works along side his wife Brittany who is the best. She is there to help you with WHATEVER you need. Words can not express how amazing it was to work with these people. Thank you both for making our big day amazing. It would not have been the same without you.

A dear friend of ours, who happens to be a photographer, recommended This Insane Idea Photography to us for our wedding. We had been shopping around for photographers, but hadn’t found anyone offering the style and quality we wanted in our price range. When we looked through Mark’s website, we knew “that’s exactly what we want”. We made our interest known and had a quick initial chat with Mark - his charisma and openness were abundantly clear and made us comfortable being ourselves (important for candid photos!). He answered all of our questions, including his strategy for capturing our diverse crowd of guests coming to our wedding. A few months prior to our wedding, we had an engagement shoot with Mark on Princeton’s campus. He made us feel comfortable and close and had a constant stream of suggestions for poses and shots to take. We loved our Hogwarts vibes engagement shoot and getting to know Mark. On our wedding day, This Insane Idea showed up in full force with Mark, Brittany, and Tom. They were on time and high energy and knew exactly what they needed to do. We weren’t expecting to get close to our photographers, but they are simply great people and we felt like friends by the end of the day. The photos are gorgeous, candid, and true to life. We keep reviewing them to relive our wedding from a million perspectives we didn’t get to see on the day of. It’s been a joy to zoom in on the photos and appreciate the details of the day, and the expressions on our guests' faces. We will treasure these photos and the experience forever. We cannot say enough about how wonderful Mark and his team were before, during, and after our wedding. Mark (and Tom!) are lovely, professional, funny, creative, and talented photographers- our goal was to have natural moments and emotions captured throughout our day and every time we look at the photos we still have our breath taken away as they did just that. This review is long overdue. We hired Mark and the team for our wedding in August of last year, and they were amazing!!!! They are very professional and have excellent attention to detail. We got our pictures and videos on time, and I couldn't be happier. Mark and Tom were great to work with and did such a beautiful job with our wedding photos! We were definitely looking for a different style and vibe and, after meeting with Mark initially over Zoom, it was clear that he was on the same page (and seemed genuinely excited to learn more about us as a couple and what we were planning). And after our engagement photos, we knew for sure that we had found the perfect person to make us feel comfortable throughout our big day and keep things light and fun. When we had colder than normal temperatures on our wedding day, Mark and Tom were so great about keeping things moving and staying flexible so that we could still get all of the shots we wanted…just a little more quickly. They did such a great job of catching the unexpected and more candid shots that couples really want…not only of themselves but their friends and family having fun. Highly recommend!

Mark & Tom were AMAZING !!! From the beginning when I found Mark he reached out to me and we did a tentative timeline. Whatever questions I had before the big day he was there and responded quickly. The day of the wedding as soon as they arrived they got to work. We got our pictures back super fast and I AM IN LOVE !!! They captured the whole day perfectly exactly how I wanted them to. From getting ready to first looks, ceremony, reception, bridal portraits they did an amazing job. There was so many surprises that I wanted captured throughout the day and they caught them all. We were so grateful for Mark and Britney, Mark’s wife and second shooter, on our wedding day. They were professional and incredibly enthusiastic. The bridal party had a great time shooting with them and the pictures look great. Mark also edited the pictures and sent our album in record time! Definitely recommended!

The best photographer experience ever! We wanted a stress free wedding day and Mark was beyond unbelievable. He made us feel so at ease throughout the whole process and made sure we had a great time. Where do I even start???? On my search of finding the perfect photographer for my wedding, I stumbled upon Mark’s portfolio. I was being extremely OCD about finding the perfect photographer. Your wedding is a one day rent that goes by in the blink of an eye, but pictures are forever!!! When I saw Mark’s portfolio, something told me he was the one, and boy was I right. When Mark and I had our first phone call meeting together, I could instantly feel his joyous and contagious energy through the phone. His personality alone made me feel like I was talking to a friend that I’ve known for my entire life! He gave me a run down of how things would go the day of the wedding, he asked me questions about my husband and I to get to know us on a more personal level, he asked what ideas I had myself, and he answered all of my questions with ease. On the day of the wedding, Mark brought that same contagious and joyous energy from our phone call, straight to taking his shots. My entire bridal party loved Mark so much. He made the picture taking process a breeze. He lead us into poses, made sure lighting was good wherever we went, took the most AMAZING candids, and went ABOVE and BEYOND in every way possible. He even went to the extent to run up to me and my husband during the middle of the reception to tell us that random fireworks were going off in the woods behind our venue, and asked if we wanted to get some cool firework shots. We all agreed and ran to the back of the venue, where Mark guided us through poses an unexpected moment during our wedding, a wonderful one. My family members raves about Mark for days after the wedding. They all couldn’t believe what an amazing photographer he was. So to end this review, let’s just say we’ve found our photographer for life. I cannot wait to use Mark again for all of my husband and I’s future milestones. He certainly IS the photographer of our dreams!

We hired Mark for our wedding for photos and OHMYGOD I can’t tell you how great he was. He came up with great energy, plans for the best photos(my husband and I are newbies to having photos done) and he was the ring leader on where to go and what goes next. He was beyond comfortable to work with. I would recommend him to absolutely everyone. My parents are still taking about how smooth it all went and how absolutely beautiful the photos came out. This Insane Idea…. WOW!!!! I’m sitting here with an opportunity to write something about a Photography Company I never thought would be more than amazing and more than the “above and beyond” standard. Prior to booking this company and Mark for our wedding. We had some conversations leading up to our day that were so joyous and positive assuring us that everything will workout perfectly. Assisting us with our wedding day timeline, and what options would work for us and what we wanted to accomplish on our wonderful day. To fast forward to our wedding day, my wife was getting ready for a few hours prior to me and my groomsmen. When I arrived at our meeting spot, I walked into my in-laws residence and I immediately saw a bright smile on Marks face and a warm welcome as he knew I was so happy for this moment. He gave me a brief rundown on how things would go, and right away got to work snapping photos left and right, moving me and my guys to great lighting locations for the perfect shot. Not to mention, while doing this as professional as possible. He made himself part of my family. Joking and fitting right in with everyone on site from my grandmother to my 1 year old niece who was crying just like a 1 year old should. Shortly after, Mark and Josh (videographer) captured everything we needed to prior to our ceremony. And let’s not leave out the amazing, and I mean AMAZING chance to partake in a first look. Some may not know what this opportunity is, and I really had only seen it once prior to actually doing it. However, as I was standing facing away from my soon to be wife, Mark was asking me questions about our relationship which made this moment so much more special. As you’re thinking about what your beautiful wife is going to look like when you turn around Mark is reminding you about some very key moments when you first met your wife. At the reception, Mark continued his amazing work. Walking around, laughing and smiling with family and friends and creating a memory I’ll never forever. To this day, and upon receiving my photographs I can tell you that these photos are impeccable, stunning and all around amazing. My family and friends have asked about who my photographer was, his contagious joy and his fantastic photography skills. Mark answers questions via text and email quickly and efficiently and sticks to what matters most, great service and excellent work ethic. In conclusion, my wife and I have gained a new friend. Someone we will most certainly go out to dinner with and keep in touch. And I can assure you, that Mark is my go to photographer for my families future needs. Mark is literally wonderful! Not only is he extremely talented and passionate, he is such a positive presence and goes out of his way to make sure everyone feels included and comfortable in front of the camera! Let me save you some time looking for your wedding photographer, Mark is your guy and I will tell you why. Starting with the obvious, Mark’s photography skills are incredible. His photos are so beautiful and they truly capture the emotions of every moment. But beyond the tangible, what made Mark the perfect photographer for our wedding was his energy. From sharing in my excitement about photographing my dress, to laughing with me and my husband throughout the day and night, he really made taking our wedding photos a fun process. As a couple that is not typically comfortable being photographed, Mark made it so fun and effortless. Exactly what we needed on our wedding day! So please, let me save you the hours of searching that I did, and just book him!

We had mark has our photographer for our wedding on September 10, 2022 and wow We had SO much fun shooting our wedding with Mark. Mark made our wedding day so much more less stressful. We managed to get mark through Enchanted Celebrations last minute and he saved our photographer nightmares. Do not work with enchanted celebrations! Mark is professional throughout the entire planning phase, knows all the right questions to ask, and dedicates her time to capturing all the amazing moments of us and our guests. When you work with someone who makes you feel relaxed and has a fun personality the rest is a natural process. I was careful to choose someone who could clearly execute great photography in all different settings (indoor, outdoor, and at night). Mark was AMAZING!! He did our engagement pictures and our wedding. He was on time (early actually) and super easy to work with. He made taking the pictures fun and they turned out beautifully!
