We used This Is It Entertainment recently for our 285 guest wedding and we could not have asked for a better team for our wedding. DJ Mike and MC Weekend Willy were awesome to work...
with and our guests also absolutely loved them. They were easy to communicate with and understood our vision and listened to our music requests. From the energy they brought to the room to the way they kept the entire night flowing, they made our wedding celebration so much fun.
Music was such an important part of our wedding, and we wanted a night where every guest (of all ages) could enjoy the music, let loose, dance, and have the absolute best time. Mike and Willy helped create exactly that atmosphere. One thing we also really loved was that, even with the party music continuing through dinner as we requested, it was never overpowering. So many of our guests commented that they were still able to talk, enjoy dinner, and actually hear each other while the music kept the energy going- which we all know is a big deal!
We are so grateful to have had them be part of our wedding and help make it such an unforgettable night for us and our guests. If you're looking for an entertainment team that knows how to create an amazing party and execute your vision, we highly recommend This Is It Entertainment! - Shannon & Tim
amazing team!! Shoez and James have incredible musical knowledge and made sure every need was met and all questions answered. They were great to work with!!
My husband and I had our wedding at Mallard Island Estate in August of 2026 and James & Jimmy were our This Is It team. We knew shortly after our first virtual meeting with them th...
at we were in the best hands - from our multiple planning meetings (with both of them!) and their very easy to use planning portal, they ensured that our day was EXACTLY as we wanted it. Our guests raved about how much fun they had (and some even asked for their contact info). They made great effort to get to know our personalities and truly captured who we are as a couple - from our extra special dinner music set to our custom anniversary dance to honor my grandparents, everything was truly perfect. Thinking we'll need a 10 year vow renewal just to repeat the party :)
Also, definitely get the lighting package - it brought the party to life!
If we could give This Is It Entertainment more than 5 stars, we absolutely would!

om the planning process all the way through the last song of the night, they were absolutely incredible.
Going into wedding planning, music was honestly one of the things we were most stressed about. We wanted the music to feel like us, but the thought of choosing everything and figuring out how it would all come together felt overwhelming. James and Jimmy somehow made that entire process insanely easy. They listened to what we liked, understood the vibe we were going for, incorporated our own music preferences seamlessly, and completely took the stress out of it. By the time the wedding came around, we felt like we could just trust them—and they absolutely delivered.
The music throughout the night was amazing. They knew how to read the room, kept the energy going, and made everything flow so naturally. But what we loved most was that they weren’t just great DJs—they were genuinely awesome, fun guys to have at our wedding. They added so much personality to the night and were willing to roll with the spontaneous moments that ended up becoming some of our favorite memories.
Case in point: at one point, an impromptu rap session of “Candy Shop” by 50 Cent broke out, and James and Jimmy handed my husband the microphone and let him go for it. 😂 It was completely unplanned, absolutely hilarious, and one of those moments we will be talking about forever. The fact that they embraced moments like that instead of making the night feel overly scripted is exactly what made them so special.
The photo booth was also a HUGE hit. Our guests had so much fun with it, and the photos came out amazing. The quality was fantastic, and we love having all of those hilarious and sweet photos of our friends and family to look back on.
We truly cannot recommend This Is It Entertainment enough. James and Jimmy made the planning easy, the music incredible, and the entire reception so much fun. They helped make our wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor everything we hoped it would be and more.
When you look back on your wedding, there are certain vendors who simply provided a service, and then there are the people who actually became part of what made the night unforgettable. James and Jimmy were absolutely the latter.
Thank you both for giving us such an incredible night and memories we will be laughing about and cherishing for years to come. We would choose you guys again in a heartbeat! ❤️
We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and MC with Jimmy & James! They took the time to meet with us multiple times before the wedding to truly understand our vision, and they exec...
uted it perfectly. The music felt so personalized to us and kept the dance floor full all night. We’ve had so many guests tell us how much they loved the music—it was one of the biggest talking points after the wedding! We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a team that truly cares about making your day unforgettable.

pletely different setups, both inside and outside. They took care of the lighting and every other detail, and it all came together seamlessly. Setup and teardown were entirely on them, and we never had to worry about a thing.
Will was our MC and did a fantastic job keeping the night flowing and the energy up. Truly a one-stop shop. If you want a DJ and entertainment company that shows up, handles the logistics, and lets you actually enjoy your day, these are your people. Highly recommend!
We decided to reach out to This Is It after attending a cousins’s wedding where Will was the MC, and it was probably the best decision we made for our whole wedding. James and Will...
LISTENED to us - something that was evident on our big day, and really felt personal. Something that set them apart from everyone else. They never made us feel like our music choices were odd, or like our celebration wasn’t going to feel like us due to different types of styles or genres. It was truly incredible. James also stood his ground when we had a “Don’t you dare play this” list, and some guests asked for them anyway. He was a master of the transitions and keeping the energy buzzing. Will was super accommodating, always communicating throughout the night and just hyping up our guests. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else in their place, and I can’t thank them enough for everything they did to make our big day come alive. Nearly all of our guests were on the dance floor (at least at some point during the night lol) and everyone only had good things to say about the music. I could go on and on forever but just take my word for it - book these boys! 10 stars for This Is It!!!
This is entertainment was phenomenal! I had such a great experience with them from the moment I had my first conversation with James (DJ). I had previously met with another DJ from...
another company who was pretty overwhelming and was nervous that was how everyone would be. James was so friendly and seemed like the perfect fit for my wedding day. After I had met with Will (the MC), and I also had a great conversation with him. He seemed like he wouldn’t be obnoxious on the day of the wedding yet still make announcements fun and exciting and get down and party with us! I decided to go with them and the months leading up to my wedding, they were extremely responsive and made me feel good going into the wedding. I knew that they would be able to read the room and make the party keep going. And that’s exactly what they did on my wedding day. Having them there felt like having additional friends there and not some random person I’ve never met. We were dancing well before dinner and continue to dance until the very end of my reception. Everyone couldn’t believe how many people were dancing so early on in the night. Ive been continuing to have people reach out to me and tell me how amazing my DJ group was and how they all had the best time from my friends in their 20s and family members in their 60s and 70s. I would definitely recommend this group and I was extremely happy with my decision.

t our songs and plan our day. James was a great DJ and Will killed it as the MC. The entire team was extremely professional and we couldn’t be happier!!

d working with both of them was truly a joy from start to finish.
What stood out most was how much time, care, and attention they put into understanding our vision. Their passion for what they do is undeniable, and it’s exactly what sets them apart. We had several calls leading up to the big day, and they consistently put us at ease—especially since music was such a huge priority for us. From the ceremony and cocktail hour to dinner and a packed dance floor, they made sure every moment had the perfect soundtrack.
The sound quality throughout the day was flawless—clear, crisp, and beautifully balanced. The flow of the music felt effortless, and our guests were dancing all night. And the lighting… wow. We've never seen a wedding dance floor with such incredible lighting setups! It added such an electric energy to the night and made everything feel extra special (we might be biased, but we seriously loved it).
We’re so happy we chose This Is It Entertainment and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any couple looking for a DJ/MC team who truly gets it. They helped make our wedding day unforgettable, and we’re so grateful.
Thank you, TIIE!

e like as a couple, and This Is It made it all work more seamlessly than we could have ever imagined. Seriously even incorporated Pirates of the Caribbean into the day, which we know was a funny request but they were all for it and it rocked. Our guests cannot stop talking about the music, and having Matthew the saxophonist there was such a highlight for us. Thank you!! -Bryan and Sarah

actly how you envisioned it. They truly went above and beyond to make our day so special. We felt so comfortable and did not need to worry about a thing. They did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not only was the music fantastic, they did a great job keeping the timeline, getting attention from guests, and making sure we were comfortable. The lighting was beautiful and fun as well. Guests were dancing and having a great time. Willy (emcee) was even jumping in and out of the crowd to engage all the guests. We met with them several times on zoom and facetime throughout the entire process and they were always engaged, willing to provide advice, and extremely caring. You can tell they have such great experience and a great relationship to each other and their clients. We recommend them so highly and would hire them again without a doubt. We wish them all the best!
AMAZING!! From the beginning the This Is It team was professional, communicative, helpful and accommodating. They incorporated all of the music we wanted from the cocktail hour to ...
dinner to dancing. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire time until the end of the night because of the music they chose was perfectly crafted for the group we had. We also added lighting which was so beautiful and it really brought the ballroom to that next level. I would choose them time and time again. Great choice for our wedding and when we have our 10 year anniversary party they will be our first entertainment vendor call !

instantly wanted to know more about us, not just what songs we wanted or didn’t wanted to make sure we had a special night that was curated to us. Weeknd Willy was our MC and he was out in the crowd the whole night making sure our guest were hyped the whole night. DJ James had the perfect mix of music that had everyone on the dance floor all night long. If you hire This is it Entertainment, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

reception portion of our wedding. With all this work that went into the preparation our actual wedding reception was absolutely amazing. Guests loved and asked for the information of this company (which is how we got their information from another wedding we attended). I would highly recommend This Is It Entertainment to anybody who wants to have a lot of dancing at their wedding. People don't leave the dancefloor when they are there!
THE BEST THERE IS !!!
I cannot say enough good things about This Is It entertainment. From the initial contact to the day of, everyone we came across in this company was awesome. ...
You can just tell they really want to make your event the best day ever. They have all been a pleasure to work with and incredibly friendly and organized. They have an awesome all access site that you can use throughout the process to add songs you don’t want or do want to be played, list all your special dances and so on. Pretty much everything you’d need in one spot ! They also have so many options for packages available and id highly recommend going all out with the lighting package, it was incredible !!
We were so lucky to be paired up with DJ Rob and our event host Andrew (Moose). Our guests keep reaching out to us just to tell us how awesome our wedding was and that they never left the dance floor and that is all thanks to these two !!!
The energy that Andrew brings is contagious. From our first meeting with him we had no doubt he was going to bring the party and he didn’t let us down!! You can tell he gives 1000000% and it shows!
DJ Rob is a master at what he does. We only had a few songs we really wanted to be played and gave an idea of the genres we lean towards and trusted him to do his thing and WOW am I glad we did. There’s truly no words for how amazing he was, you just have to experience it for yourself !!
Thank you so much to the team at This Is It Entertainment and especially to Andrew and DJ Rob!! We will be talking about how amazing this day was for many years to come and you guys were a huge part of that.
Love, love, LOVE This Is It Entertainment! From the beginning to end we thoroughly enjoyed working with their team for our wedding. Andrew and James were kind, patient and easy to ...
communicate with. I'll admit we came into a couple of our meetings unprepared and they never once were upset. Instead, they helped guide us through different generations and genres of music. To top it all off, they are very budget friendly. Our wedding guests keep raving about the party we threw! Highly recommend This Is It for any special occasion!
We hired This Is It for the lighting, DJ, and MC at our wedding in Asbury Park. We absolutely loved our MC (Weekend Willy) and DJ (Rob Beats)! They were extremely professional and ...
helpful through the planning process. On the day of the wedding, they kept everything organized and running smoothly and also made the event so fun! We got so many compliments from our guests on the hosting and DJ quality. The lighting design was also great for keeping the dance floor exciting and matching the mood as the night progressed. We would highly recommend This Is It!

e to James from This Is It, we knew we had to book. Lighting creates all the vibes and helps keep everyone on the dance floor (along with an amazing band). It was worth every penny and I can absolutely guarantee, you will notice every wedding you go to that has lighting packages vs the ones that don’t (sorry not sorry). DO IT. DO IT. DO IT.

we I was envisioning. They were so kind and had great suggestions. We worked with Will and Rob and they are a perfect team! Will was so much fun and had the crowd amped up the whole night. He made sure to follow up and have all the details so we could completely enjoy the night without having to worry about anything. Rob played awesome music and listened to the crowd to keep everyone dancing all night long. I couldn't recommend This Is It more! We still have people come up to us to tell us we had the best wedding party and we owe that so much to this team! If you are looking for a DJ and Emcee, you should absolutely use This Is It!

C and James took the time to get to know what kind of music we liked and did a great job DJing. James was able to adjust songs to what the guests and I were enjoying and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. I didn’t even need to request any songs because I was loving all of them!Joe was great with the photo booth and reminded my husband and I to go over to take photos as we hadn’t even gone over since we were so busy!! I really appreciated that because we probably would have forgotten to go ourselves. So glad I went with this company and again everyone was so easy to work with and made this process that much easier.

The lighting, music, and the photo booth were top-notch—everything was seamless.
What really stood out to us was how attentive and organized they were throughout the entire planning process.
They made us feel so comfortable and confident, always on top of every detail and making sure we had nothing to worry about on our big day.

ot just used as a business transaction. Meeting with James provided the same exact feeling when I toured their studio. We knew we were in good hands! Their portal is very user friendly and ensures you are able to customize your special day to exactly how you envision it. DJ Rob and MC Willy are the BEST!!! Our wedding was such an amazing time and truly a Jersey Shore party, they nailed exactly what we were looking for! Also a shoutout to This Is It for working with me on an error I made. In other words they will take care of you and work with you to make your special day absolutely perfect. We can't thank you enough for such a great process and an amazing day!!

would go with our DJ and Emcee, was very thorough in asking about all of our details, and gave us some good info about how the event would go since we were having it at my in-laws house. DJ Rob Beats was a crowd favorite and Will was great at keeping the guests engaged and the event flowing smoothly.
A few weeks before the wedding, we decided to upgrade our lighting package to “the works” so we started working with James and CJ about how our setup worked with the tent. James and CJ were there the morning of the event, rigging everything together and they created an awesome vibe for the night. I highly recommend This Is It!

r MC, and James E, our DJ. Both Moose and James spent time speaking to me and my husband about our vision and preferences that helped personalize our wedding day. Our guests still rave about the playlist from that day, and it was all due to the time and attention James gave - he spent an hour and a half on the phone with us as we teased out what music we wanted to hear for each part of our wedding. He even took the time to ask about cultural preferences and possible songs that my Chinese parents would want to hear at the wedding. I really appreciated that cultural sensitivity, and I suspect he was slightly disappointed when they said they just wanted to hear 'Unchained Melody,' haha. This Is It made our wedding stress free and enjoyable from beginning to end, and I can't recommend them enough!
Moose and DJ Rob were the best duo for our wedding!! They kept the party going all night and were extremely attentive to what we wanted and listened to every request we gave them. ...
Rob even helped us edit our first dance song to be a version that we wanted. It felt like they were friends who were partying with us, not just vendors. Highly highly recommend and cannot thank them enough for making the day so special!!!

Thank you for giving us the best party ever. I seriously wish we could relive that night a million more times. Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable.

mony and reception from music transitions to introductions to incorporating the hora were seamless, in part owing to the prep meetings as well as the flexibility and experience of our host Jimmy and DJ Dan. I am not a girl who lives on the dance floor, much less able to make it to the last song, but DJ Dan and Jimmy really drew everyone and myself to the floor with their music mix and energy. I have since gotten so many rave reviews about them. Cannot thank them enough for making the wedding day, as was their articulated goal from the very beginning, absolutely extraordinary.
Lighting: highly recommend the dynamic setup for an energetic vibe!

ng happened, we were already super relaxed and felt like we were in good hands. At the wedding itself, the lighting looked amazing, the music was fabulous, and Moose emceed exactly according to the vibes. I was super grateful for how Dan was able to adjust his DJing to the moment; for instance, when it started raining and all of our guests went to sit on the veranda to take in the storm, the music seamlessly went from dance floor music (ie Abba and Whitney Houston) to relaxing romantic music (ie Sam Cooke). Not to mention, they were all so friendly and warm, it just felt like more guests we loved! We couldn’t have asked for more.

DJ Tranquil and Weekend Willy were the DJ & event host for my wedding and they were the absolute best! They were punctual,
came extremely prepared, were exceptional to coordinate with.
We had an afternoon wedding which often equates to a dead dance floor. However, Weekend Willy/DJ Tranquil were great at reading the room, knew when the change up the vibe, and kept everyone engaged. I'd recommend them or anyone at This is it entertainment for your wedding/next event.
We got married on 9/30/23 at The Mainland and man, everyone is STILL talking about how amazing our emcee and dj were. I would like to first say that we only had about 110 people at...
our wedding, and we were nervous that our dance floor may get empty at times and we were just worried on the overall flow of the night. Not everyone in our family dances- but mannnnn was I wrong. Dj Rob and emcee Andrew aka Moose read the room perfectly and delivered all night long. People we didn’t even think would dance were up having a great time and the dance floor was NONSTOP - there was never a dull moment! They really got everyone hype all through the day- from introductions to the rest of the night.
Leading up to the wedding, communication with both Rob and Moose was a breeze and they made us so comfortable with any questions or concerns we had. Using their music portal was also a plus and Rob was actually able to use a Spotify playlist I made with some ideas I had as well which made things even more of a breeze.
Also, Keli is a sweetheart! Working with her through the payment process was stress free.
We also had our photo booth through This Is It and we had Joe, who was also great to work with! We wanted to change up the template a little for the photo strips and he was so easy going and great to work with! The photo album at the end was a great touch and we’re glad we get to have those memories forever.
The uplighting packages they provide are beautiful as well and really enhanced the whole vibe of the room and perfectly matched our vision.
Overall we were so happy with our experience with This Is It Entertainment and we will gladly refer them to anyone planning a wedding!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

d 5 years later, I finally got engaged, and when it came down to the music we only made one phone call.
From our first meeting I knew DJ Rob Beats and I were on the same page. The goal was to throw a rocking party with a personal touch. Rob worked with us to come up with a fantastic playlist, and from cocktail hour to the final song DJ Rob absolutely crushed it. His mashup songs and transitions were incredible and he had a pulse on the crowd the entire night. Rob was an absolute pleasure to work with and I can’t wait to reunite at our anniversary party.
DJ Rob Beats was INCREDIBLE! He made our wedding the best day ever; our family and friends literally did not sit down the entire night other than for a few minutes to eat. We had a...
wide variety of ages and music tastes, and 2 weeks after our wedding everyone is still raving about how much fun DJ Rob was. His mashups and flow of genres was truly impressive; he kept everything classy, tasteful, and SO MUCH FUN! We may be biased but he was the best DJ we've ever seen at a wedding. We've already said we want to have a 1 year anniversary party just so we can have him DJ for us again. Highly recommend!!!
The best DJ! My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our decision; James knew exactly what to play for a Latin & American wedding crowd. Highly recommended.

Thank you again James and Keli for everything.
Hands down the best DJ, MC, and Percussionist of ALL TIME. Willy(weekendwilly!!!!) kept the hype of the wedding going ALL NIGHT LONG and DJ Rob beats KILLED IT with the music!!! We...
had a full dance floor of people BEFORE dinner!! (People were saying that NEVER HAPPENS at any weddings they’ve been too) I couldn’t believe how well everything flowed- I legit could not leave the dance floor all night. We had a live percussionist as well and (i don’t remember his name- so sorry) but he was the icing on the cake!!! Interactive, FUN and just hyped the night up allll night. DJ Rob legit had people shaking ass all night and we had sooo many people asking who/where we found our DJ & MC!! he way during the planning process and made every effort to understand exactly the type of music we liked and the atmosphere we wanted at our reception. When it came time for the ceremony and reception, they absolutely killed it. All of our guests loved Will (Weekend Willie) and could not get enough of him! They also were loving DJ Dan’s music selection! He did a great job reading the crowd, getting people moving and keeping them dancing all night long. It was such an amazing night and so much of that was due to Dan and Will and their expertise. Highly recommend this team!
