This Little Piggy Catering

On our big day we had pulled pork(w/multiple sauces), mac&cheese, Caesar salad, beans and fruit buffet style. SOOOO GOOD! Catering service was outstanding. We also had bar service through them and their service was great also. I would highly recommend for your big day!!

He patiently handled all of my questions throughout the wedding planning process even the ones I asked multiple times! He made everything so easy and stress-free. We thought the catering was fabulous, and our guests agreed! Highly recommend!

We felt very well prepared for our big day, and the catering team did not disappoint! The entire team was super courteous and stayed on top of all of the food. Our guests all raved about the fajita bar we had and we couldn't agree more - it was amazing!

When you're paying almost as much as the wedding venue for food you'd expect alot more. They also charged me 500 dollars to change my wedding date due to covid restrictions not letting us have our wedding on the original date. I deserve some kind of refund, this was not what I paid for or was promised for quality

ember 2023 (our wedding was in September). In order to try the food we had to drive to Farmington to pick up an order. While I was there I asked if there were any tastings available before September and they said there were several. We wish this would’ve been communicated to us beforehand and not sure why we were told there weren’t any. But again, great service the day of and everyone loved the food!

One we got our day of coordinator 2 weeks out from our wedding the service was fantastic but the 2 years leading up to our event was so painful we almost canceled our venue just because of This Little Piggy. Also their pricing calculator on their website is completely wrong and misleading.

contract was the most difficult part of the whole wedding planning process. It was challenging that most of the process to get a contract involved phone calls and staff were only available 9-5. I can easily send emails during 9-5 hours but phone calls are much harder. I know that people can’t work at all hours of the day, but having even 1 day a week when staff was available even until 6 would have been extremely helpful. I loved my venue so much that I was so upset to see how many extra fees were being tacked onto my catering contract. A family friend who has been in the hospitality industry for decades was in awe of the rates and how sneaky the fees were. I don’t understand why This Little Piggy is in the “affordable” range on The Knot, it was quite a bit more than comparable vendors in the Twin Cities. I would have loved to have attended a tasting! When I signed my contract, it seemed like scheduling one would be easy. Weeks and weeks went by without being able to schedule one. By the time there was one available, it was 4 months out from my wedding and I was on a work trip. Thank goodness my parents were able to accompany my fiancé to the tasting! I’m The service on my wedding day was lacking. My mom had to go find the staff to ask them to start bussing tables since my guests had been finished for a while but no one had starting bussing tables.

Two months before the wedding I found out that my contact for This Little Piggy was no longer with the company BY MY WEDDING VENUE. I had to email This Little Piggy to confirm this was the case and to ask who my new contact was. That was very unprofessional. I also had to email them and remind them of the payments that I needed to make and I had to ask for payment links. Having said that, they showed up on time and had everything set up to serve at the agreed upon time. The food was hot and delicious, and serving staff was kind and helpful.

and do all of the catering! The two staff we had were BUSTING THEIR TAILS AND AMAZING! But for a wedding with 200 people it didn’t make any sense that only two workers would have been sent. Because there were only two people our food was running behind but truly I was fine with that because there were only two people!! I wish they would have told me how many people were going to be working, I felt horrible for those staff. I also felt like for a “more affordable option” we we’re definitely paying wayyy more than I thought was necessary. Overall, the food was good, everyone was happy but for the double digit price for a taco bar and two workers to be staffed day of-that left my husband and I heavily disappointed.

The venue owner then refused to open the gate to get the truck on property forcing them to carry all the food, plates, serving utensils, EVERYTHING through the front door and past the dance floor and bar. It was about a 150 person wedding. I did not even notice this happening they did so well. Thank you so, so much, This Little Piggy Catering, for turning a potential wedding day disaster into a triumph! And the food was some of the best we ever had!!!

They showed up early and had everything set up to serve on time. My guests still comment on how good the food was. In preparation of getting every thing arranged if I had any questions they were quick with a response. I highly recommend.

I was a bit hesitant to do buffet style serving but honestly, it went very smooth and was extremely quick for everyone to get food! 1000000% recommend using them for catering needs!

tely loved the food and said it was the best wedding food they've had. Which is amazing to hear but the bar staff continued coming to me for every little thing that went on. When I had a coordinator who they should've gone to and my mom was the point person. They went up to me RIGHT before going to take golden hour photos like come on! The lack of respect to the couple getting married is why this company received the stars that I gave. I was not happy with them continuing to come to me because of stupid things going on. Not the brides problem that day! Its the couples day! Like come on! Also absolutely nothing in the contract about not being able to set up a tab for drinks, which in return was upsetting for guests because they had to pay every single time they wanted something. I was informed that there was apparently half a keg left when they shut the free beer down that I paid for, for cocktail hour. Rather than keeping it open til empty. The bar staff brought warm pop, warm wine, warm everything with no way of getting it cooled by the wedding. Just very unprofessional in my opinion. Only good this is the food.

The servers were very unfriendly and guests came away feeling uncomfortable and confused. As stated, they did what we asked them to do but just wished it would have turned out better for us and our guests. One bonus was the signature drink I picked from the bar service was amazing but in the end, it was costly.
