We’re Erika and Michael, the husband-and-wife team behind This Love of Yours Photography. Based in Portland and happily traveling for love, we photograph weddings in a soft, romantic, slightly whimsical style. We live for pretty portraits, real laughs, and all the in-between moments that feel like you. We’re hybrid photographers, shooting both digital and film, and offer optional film packages for couples who love that dreamy, nostalgic look in their images. We bring a calm, reassuring presence to your wedding day, which helps even camera-shy couples relax and just be themselves. Our couples tend to be people who care about authentic, romantic images. Soft glances, small laughs, and real connection. With a background in film photography, we work intentionally and a bit slower, paying attention to light, composition, and the tiny details that make your images feel timeless. We just recently completed our dream of moving to Portland from neighboring San Francisco. We have been enjoying getting to know our beautiful new city. When we are not behind the cameras, we enjoy exploring and eating our way through new neighborhoods, cooking together and chilling at home with our 8lb Pomeranian, Bomi and 16-yr-young shelter kitty, Niko. Erika loves relaxing in her sewing room where she makes little bits and bobs for tiny dogs. Michael is obsessed with golf and can often be found at Eastmoreland on a nice day.

timeless. I was so glad to have found Erika, as she not only captured the exact style we were looking for, but her expertise and skill level are evident in the sophisticated techniques and artistic nuances woven throughout her work. My wedding morning was slightly hectic and required a lot of coordination since my ceremony and reception were at two different locations. However, Erika was up for the challenge and captured the day beautifully, even working tirelessly through the rain. We got our photos back in a month. The photos turned out better than we ever imagined, and my husband and I couldn’t be happier.

Erika did a fairly good job capturing our wedding day, however I didn’t find her to be very friendly and I was disappointed in the lack of variety and creativeness with our photos....

They turned out beautifully but the venue we had offered so many beautiful places around the property where other photos could have been taken. Our photos were only taken in a couple places and were all posed very similarly. There was an unnecessary amount of photos taken of the tables in our venue and she did not capture certain family photos, photos of our wedding party, and ones that we wanted with friends who traveled very far to be there. I felt stressed out from the moment that Erika arrived because of the pushiness and constant interruptions, so my makeup artist took longer, which caused us to rush our vows privately and rush my hair stylist. Our families also mentioned to us that she was not very personable and made very little conversation when she arrived. Overall, not a great experience and would probably not book this vendor again for other future photoshoots. We do appreciate the film option as well as the glass box of our photos. They also never contacted us about the wedding album that we were supposed to get like they said they would and still have not received it. It has now been well over a month.

hole process was very easy. I loved the option to add on film - our photos turned out incredible, with a timeless feel that's romantic and perfectly captured us. Our guests said they were unobtrusive during the ceremony and throughout the wedding day, yet they were still able to capture these amazingly special moments - some of which only lasted seconds! My husband and I are not super comfortable in front of cameras, so we also appreciated Erika's attention to detail and small directive movements that helped ensure we didn't "look awkward" in the photos. We got all our photos back in just over a month, which was a quick turn time in a busy wedding season! For our engagement session, Erika also sent us some previews early so we could use a photo for our invites as we had a short engagement. We feel they were 100% worth every penny, in the ease/zero stress working with them, but also in the amazing photos and a reasonable value. In short, we're super happy with our decision to work with This Love Of Yours!

My partner and I felt nervous about being in front of the camera and they made us feel incredibly comfortable. Turn around time for photos were quick and we used it for our save the dates and invites. On our wedding day, they captured the essence of our love story perfectly. I especially appreciated their attention to detail; they caught so many beautiful candid moments and details from our wedding. I was blown away and definitely teared up after looking at our photos as I re-lived the day. Photography was amongst the the top three important priorities as we were wedding planning and we lucked out when we found these two! y helpful with regard to what location/time is best for pictures at City Hall and always got back to us within 24 hrs. I love that they used both digital and film - there’s something so magical about film, everything looks flawless. They have an elopement package which is for 1.5 hours. They said that was enough time to capture a City Hall ceremony but we chose to add more time and I’m so glad we did! 1.5 hours would not have been enough time to get pictures with everybody. We got our pictures back within 5 weeks and were beyond happy with the images. I can’t wait to get the images printed and up in our home.

They had us do things that captured the beauty of our venue in ways that we are very excited about. It was like receiving the best Christmas gift from Santa Claus. I am also very impress with the colors and moments captured by them. Both Ericka and Michael are very down to earth and friendly. The moment I stumbled upon "This love of Yours Photography," I had immediately fallen in LOVE! When you look at their work, every photo is just so beautiful that words cannot even describe it! I love the soft light style of photography as well as the emotions, intimacy, and passion that is captured so perfectly. They are also great with capturing all the little details, so if you are very detail oriented, you will love them even more! I had my engagement photos taken earlier this year and loved EVERY single one of them! I trusted them and knew that we were going to get many amazing photos, but they exceeded my expectation and presented me with the most PERFECT engagement photos that I could not have even possibly imagined! Our family and friends also fell in love with every single photo they saw! My wedding was just a few weeks ago, and I cannot wait to see all of the moments captured on my special day!
