second I got engaged I immediately texted her because I knew I wanted her to capture our day and our engagement session. My husband and I were wanting more candid and in the moment shots to capture who we are on a day to day basis instead of more posed shots and that is exactly what Cassie delivered. Thank you Cassie from the bottom of our hearts for being one of the most important vendors on our day. We will cherish you forever <3
I cannot recommend Cassie enough! I found Cassie through a referral from another photographer that was already booked for my date. This was the best referral of all time. Cassie wa...
s prompt with email responses and a great resource for vendor recommendations as well as timeline. On my wedding day, Cassie showed up and I felt like I’d known her for years – she made us all feel so comfortable and the pictures turned out better than we could have ever hoped for. Cassie had a way of being there but also blending in – some of the pictures she got, I didn’t even realize she was there, like signing our wedding license. I remember after the day thinking we didn’t get pictures of that, but she 100% did. Amazing personality and amazing work – the total package! Thank you Cassie for all your hard work, we are OBSESSED!!!

n. I chatted on the phone with her and instantly found a friend. I booked her immediately and even ended up booking a boudoir session with her. I am so happy we did that session because we had so much fun that when she showed up to my wedding we had built this dynamic that was so awesome! The pictures came out amazing, and the editing is so beautiful! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Thistle and Rose Co. We are over the moon with our photos and know we will cherish them forever!

ng. She’s so good at capturing in the moment photos. You will not be disappointed with her professional or creativity.
Do you have a favorite photo of yourself that you just love? One that makes you feel like a million bucks? What if you could have 300 of those photos?? Sounds impossible, right?!
...
Wrong. Not if you hire Cassie!!! She has a true eye for capturing the authentic emotion and beauty of her clients in the most genuine way. We trusted Cassie to shoot our Elopement ceremony (which we had told NONE of our family about) so you can imagine the pressure we felt to ensure the moment was captured properly to share with all our family and friends who weren’t there. Not to mention, we had never met in person before that moment!
My husband and I had so much fun being ourselves while she captured our joy from that day. Her editing was natural and clean - but just enough to give you that “million bucks” feeling we all want. This December we are doing a large ceremony with everyone and she is shooting that one as well - I can’t wait to see what gems come from that gallery!! Run, do not walk to hire Cassie as your trusted photographer for your big day!

I got married in Colorado and needed someone that would help me determine the best spots and time for photos. Since we weren’t from the area, I was really nervous about how the pho...
tos would turn out. Cassie had a discovery call with my husband and me to go over a typical wedding day timeline, so we knew exactly when everything would happen. This was so helpful since all of out family was coming from out of town and needed to be told where to be and what time. Cassie helped us pick out a ceremony location and even provided some local vendor recommendations on who she think would be a great fit for us.
On our wedding day, it snowed so much, and we were really worried about the photos. Cassie assured me that no matter what we decided, that we would get great photos. We did our first look in very heavy snow, and she recommended starting the wedding a few minutes later since the snow was stopping then. I am so glad we listened to her because the sun came out right before I walked down the aisle.
I am so happy I decided to fly her out to Colorado because she really took the time to make sure our wedding day was as stress free as possible, which allowed us to have fun while taking photos. I recommend her to anyone that is in need of a photographer.
Cassie is the best there is! She’s been our family photographer for years and she photographed our wedding in Costa Rica a few years ago and she gets the most meaningful shots! You...
