Thistle and Blooms

in working with us for 2.5 years as we had to postpone our wedding multiple times due to covid. I didn't have much of an idea of what I wanted for our vineyard wedding, and I'm so glad to have had Kelly's guidance and suggestions as we built the vision for our florals together. The end result was so incredibly beautiful and exactly our personality. Kelly is quick to respond, so easy to talk to, and really has a passion for weddings and her art--and it comes through in her installations. I can't recommend hiring Kelly enough--we got so many compliments on our florals and it seriously elevated the whole wedding! Thanks so much Thistle and Blooms!

s to accommodate any request. I was absolutely obsessed with my flowers! And we received so many compliments from our guests on my flower crown, the table arrangements, bouquets, flower arrangements for the cross, etc. She thinks of everything and is such a joy to work with. Would recommend her 100 times over to anyone looking for a flexible, fun to work with, professional florist.

but SO great to work with. After our very first meeting, it was like chatting with an old friend. Highly recommend!

wedding, so I wanted lots of greenery, wildflowers and herbs in our floral arrangements. I had a flower crown for myself, floral hair pieces for my bridesmaids, flowers on the chuppah we stood in front of during the ceremony, a long eucalyptus vine for the head table, and loads of other gorgeous arrangements. Kelly helped conserve flowers by using our bouquets as centre pieces during dinner. Everything was done splendidly - and she was able to bring a lot more elegance to the old barn. I highly recommend Thistle and Blooms! And I also recommend paying the extra 'take down' fee so you don't have to worry about removing all the flowers at the end of the night or returning vases.

ok we were going for. She had me send her a Pinterest board to get an idea of what my taste was and from there she was able to pull a beautiful color scheme and floral designs. She made us an outstanding white rose and luscious green floral piece for the arbor at our ceremony, gorgeous pew arrangements that we reused as center pieces for the reception, single stem peony cocktail table center pieces, cake flowers, bouquets for all of the bridesmaids, mothers, and godmothers. My flower girls, junior bridesmaids and myself wore the most beautiful flower crowns that were made so well and with the perfect flowers. She did so many other things as well, I could really go on about how she made my dreams come true. I will recommend her to everyone I meet that is getting married. I cannot wait to see pictures!

she has been nothing but responsive, flexible, and honestly just amazing. I asked her about doing a hanging centerpiece and she went as far as pricing out install with different companies for me. If you need a florist, look no further. She will go above and beyond. I'm so pleased. We will absolutely be using her again when my sister gets married next year. I cannot speak highly enough about her.

a ton of florists). She always seemed just as excited about my wedding as I did and it made me feel so thankful to have her. The moment I shared with her my floral vision, she said "I know exactly what to do" and when she sent over the proposal with the flowers she chose, they sounded perfect. Kelly is so easy and helpful to work with and very trustworthy. She would suggest alternative options of where to cut certain things to make sure we could fit in all the flowers that were most important to me into my budget. She made the process go so smoothly and always got back to my emails quickly. Beyond her being easy and fun to work with, she’s an amazing florist! I knew the flowers were going to be beautiful just from the way she explained them and her previous work, but I was blown away the moment I saw them on my wedding day! They were BEYOND PERFECT! They were exactly what I was hoping for and more. I was absolutely obsessed with them and received so many compliments on how gorgeous my flowers were. I would recommend Thistle and Blooms for any event – I promise you, you won’t be disappointed!

t count how many times I was asked about who did our flowers. I'm still being asked! I can't say enough about Thistle and blooms I'd recommend them whenever I get the opportunity! Thanks Kelly for making our day so beautiful! The overhead arrangement was loved by everyone!

k is amazing and she makes it so easy for you. She has a lot of vases and candle votives and other props for you to use which made planning and choosing the décor so much easier than buying/renting things through other vendors. Thistle and Blooms does amazing work for a great price. If anyone is looking for a florist she is wonderful!

She has found her true strength and it's so wonderful to see someone love their job as deeply as Kelly does. Our wedding guests were truly astonished and couldn't stop raving about how beautiful everything looked from the archway to the bouquets to the centerpieces. Prior to the start of the wedding, Kelly pinned on my flower crown and it just completed the whole look - there was not a dry eye in the bridal suite! In the months of getting our wedding logistics together, working with Kelly was the best experience out of all the other elements to wedding planning. I simply told her our wedding colors and she completely nailed the design from start to finish. In all sincerity, there is not one thing I would have changed about the turnout of our big day. We are so excited that her flowers will be showcased in every single one of our wedding photos. Kelly was such a DREAM that our venue wanted to hire her as a preferred vendor! I would recommend Thistle and Blooms ten times over!

t into something beautiful. The bouquets were lovely and the ceremony decor was perfect- simple arrangements that complimented the beautiful outdoor space perfectly. The table arrangements were beautiful. Again, she was able to take my vision and execute it perfectly. Whenever we spoke she made me feel like her only priority and that she was truly excited to be involved in our day. My only regret is not getting my bouquet preserved after the ceremony so I could continue to enjoy the gorgeous flowers!

verything to make my wedding dreams come to life and she did. She was incredibly easy to work with, always being available for any kind of questions or concerns I had. Any budget concerns I had, she worked with me, offering to swap flowers in and out to reduce my price. I fell in love with her work after seeing my bridal bouquet -- gorgeous! And then I saw my venue on the wedding day... I was speechless. All of the visions I had, had come to life. The bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, archway, and centerpieces were stunning. People continually commented on the beauty and unique look of the flowers. Kelly was a joy to work with and I would suggest any bride to work with her. I couldn't have had my dream wedding without the beautiful workmanship of Thistle & Blooms!

idea of sending her my Pinterest board of flowers that I liked. I was a little nervous that they may not turn out how I had envisioned purely because we were not able to meet. Her contract was very detailed, naming the kinda of blooms she would be using. A week before the wedding she allowed me to add a few stems with no problem. When she arrived on time to deliver all of the flowers, she brought extra!!!!!! I was floored. My wedding bouquets were stunning. Absolutely gorgeous and perfectly in line with the look I was hoping to achieve. I would hire Thistle and Blooms in a heartbeat and would recommend Kelly to anyone!

continually added "extras" just because she is a precious, servant hearted person. The day of the wedding Kelly added special touches all around our venue to areas that she didn't even need to. She is someone that my daughter & I can't wait to tell Austin, Texas about the GREATEST FLORIST in Central Texas & that is THISTLE & BLOOM!

ked together to figure out what would look best with my dress. I wanted a wild/lush mix of flowers and greenery, and she nailed it! We got the most beautiful bouquet and boutonniere. I wish I could wake up to those flowers every day!

wers would have to be subsistuted with others because they weren't in season. However, she managed to get them for my wedding. They were beautiful! Job well done!

ct trend I was looking for. We ran into some last minute add ons and it was so easy and Kelly was so accommodating. I could NOT believe my eyes when she brought in my bouquets for the day of and it got even better as I saw the ceremony site and reception room! Re-living our wedding through our photos and getting to really see all the details was so fun and I wanted to hug Kelly all over again!

excited about the little touches of greenery and petals that I'd hold throughout my wedding day. I wanted simplicity and elegance, and--even with such vague descriptions-- she nailed it. She loves flowers and she loves people, and she wants you to feel that in your gut. She was a professional Celebrate-er, and a mini-retreat every time I chatted with her during our planning season. I completely recommend working with Kelly-- or just calling her up to hang out over a good cup of coffee. Her pizazz, creativity, and warmth will not disappoint!
