Hunter was an absolute joy to work with. He was so intentional with us months leading up to the wedding. He came to every meeting prepared. He is so kind and generous. We feel like...
he truly cared about us and believed in our love story - not like we were just another paycheck. Hunter made sure all things ran smoothly leading up to the wedding. Our officiant dropped out at last notice - Hunter stepped up to cover that without hesitancy. Come wedding day, Hunter’s team was INCREDIBLE!! There were MANY fires they had to manage and put out. Hunter spent a LONG time cleaning my stained dress (my alterations person almost ruined it!). Our videographer canceled morning of the wedding. Our DJ was not the best and tried to overstep. Hunter and his team did AMAZING managing all these issues!!! They advocated for me and still are as I’m trying to get a refund from our videographer. Best part of booking with Thistle Haven is you not only gain an amazing wedding coordinator, but also a loyal, lifelong friend.
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Hunter from Thistle Haven Events for our wedding, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. I cannot say enough great ...
things about Hunter! From our very first meeting, Hunter was friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional. He felt like a best friend from the moment we spoke. He was always prompt in his responses, making the entire planning process feel smooth and stress-free.
Hunter went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, and his calm, organized presence on the big day allowed us to fully relax and enjoy each moment. His warm, outgoing personality made him a joy to work with, and it was clear he genuinely cared about making our day special. From helping to secure last minute vendors and details (since I loved to remember things I wanted at the very last minute) to sprinting across the The Vulcan to retrieve our forgotten wedding bands mid-ceremony, Hunter was there for every step and I'm so grateful for him and his team!
If you're looking for someone who is not only amazing at what they do but also an absolute delight to work with, we highly recommend Hunter and the team at Thistle Haven Events!

. I couldn’t have wished for a better wedding coordinator!!
I reached out to Hunter and his team after my original wedding planner ghosted me. Hunter was our wedding day’s saving grace and we could not have pulled it off without him. He too...
k so much stress off of the wedding party and families so we could enjoy our day without regrets.
In 2 months, Hunter was able to familiarize himself with all the vendors I had booked, coordinated a timeline with them, and oversaw day of coordination. Our wedding ran AHEAD of schedule and we had so much fun together at the reception. Our wedding was multicultural and had a seated dinner of 300 guests. Hunter and his team showed up unafraid and ready for a chaotic (AND FUN!) day. So much love for this company. We are so grateful to you.
Hunter and his team are absolutely fantastic! After I booked him, I had no stress and my wedding went off without a hitch! I’m so thankful for all the help and guidance given to me...
from them. I cannot recommend Thistle Haven enough! Honestly, 5 stars is not enough stars for how amazing everything went!

d helped me plan the whole thing. If I ever had any questions, he would answer them quickly and if he didn't know the answer he would find out in a timely manner. On my wedding day he helped so much, very sassy but in the absolute best way possible. I don't think I would have been able to enjoy our day as much if it wasn't for him. HIRE THEM! You will NOT regret it!
Hunter was more than just our wedding planner; he was a true partner in making our dream day a reality. As I juggled school and life’s demands, he stepped in with grace and care, s...
upplementing our decorations with his own to ease the burden on my fiancée. His creativity knew no bounds, transforming an ordinary office space with a patio into a stunning wedding venue that reflected our unique love story. Hunter’s attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that every element of our wedding was perfect, from the flowers to the lighting, leaving us free to focus on each other and our special day.
What truly set Hunter apart was his unwavering support and understanding. He made my fiancée feel safe and heard, always available to address any concerns she had with patience and empathy. Navigating the nuances of our interracial relationship, Hunter embraced our cultures with respect and joy, creating a wedding that beautifully blended African American and Chinese traditions. His dedication to our happiness went beyond expectations, and we will forever be grateful for the unforgettable celebration he crafted for us. Hunter, we can't thank you and your team enough for everything you did for us.
BOOK. WITH. THEM!!!!
I went on the knot and messaged Thistle Haven Events with the idea of a surprise wedding extremely short notice. Short notice as in 2 months haha. They respond...
ed back with such positivity and excitement! Hunter took me and my now husband out for lunch at a super cute restaurant to go over all the ideas we had. He was super prepared and already had an itinerary and everything planned out. He recommended a caterer and got us a great discount! Everyone raved about the food!! Since the wedding was a surprise we wanted the reception space to start as bland and look like a birthday party to start. His team did an amazing job of turning it into a beautiful reception! They were able to do this when everyone went out for our ceremony! When people came back it was truly transformed! They provided some beautiful centerpieces and made it amazing! Hunter was our officiant and he was great!!! They found us everything we needed from DJs to photographers and got us great deals! We even had a photographer cancel last minute and he was still able to arrange a new one! Jenny helped me get ready and was so sweet! They made the entire day absolutely amazing! I recommend them, they’re so worth it and affordable!!!!!!
