Thompson's Orchard was a great experience!
I'm writing this on behalf of the group at Creative Trails that came here today for a community outing. The Orchard is located on a beautiful piece of land and has a multitude of great trees for apple...
picking. The staff there is very welcoming and supportive; The owners son Eli was particularly generous with helping our group get accustomed to the orchard and the picking/paying processes.
The community over at Creative Trails highly recommends coming here if you're interested in apple picking or just a nice fall place to visit in general!

A clean, well cared for orchard. The apples are delicious. Cute pumpkin patch with pre-picked pumpkins. The store has yummy baked goods (turnovers, cream horns, etc), they offer baked pies and whoopie pies sometimes, have apple cider in various...
sizes available for purchase, and the BEST apple cider donuts around. Parking is easy with the extra grass lot out front. There was live music by the picnic tables under the tent. They also keep their Facebook page updated regularly which is so nice for events and planning. It's a family favorite for sure!

The bakery is the highlight here. Outstanding goods. Eating apple variety is limited while there are no traditional cooking apples. Signature in the orchard is poor and not current with available apple varieties. Plus apple price on the high ...
side. Worth the visit for the bakery but not worth going out of your way for the orchard.
