The indoor and outdoor spaces are gorgeous and immaculately maintained and we greatly appreciated the contingency plans that were in place in case of bad weather on our wedding day. The food was incredible and the kitchen staff worked with us to ensure that the menu fit our guests' dietary restrictions. Grace and her team seamlessly handled set-up and tear down on wedding day with minimal guidance needed from us, allowing us to focus entirely on enjoying the day with our loved ones. We are so grateful to Orchid House for everything they did to make our special day perfect, and we cannot recommend them enough!

Grace was always quick to answer every question, and offer suggestions when we needed ideas. Grace and Kaia, were so warm and kind, it felt like they were part of our family. On the wedding day, they were on top of everything, making sure things ran on schedule and that everyone was where they needed to be. The way they had everything under control gave us peace of mind so we could just be present and enjoy the day. Even when unexpected problems came up, they stepped in and fixed things without drama. We love Orchid House, and look forward to many more celebrations with them in the future.

The service was fantastic and very professional and this is coming from someone who used to work weddings and worked in the service industry for over 10 years. But besides all these raving reviews, one of the best aspects is Grace. She was unbelievably helpful throughout the process and even on the day of the wedding. A fantastic communicator and facilitator that made our special day seamless. Our day was as special as it was because we chose this venue. There is no doubt in our minds that we chose the perfect place for our special day and would highly recommend it to anyone!

From DAY ONE, Grace was attentive, knowledgeable, positive and very easy to work with. Most of all, Grace has been given the power to make instant decisions. (As the mother of the bride, that was extremely important to me) She was prompt answering emails and phone calls as well as comfortable offering suggestions. I am absolutely in awe of the kindness, professionalism & care that was provided not only on the wedding day, but throughout the entire wedding planning process. I'm a fan of asking way too many questions, I like to know every detail about everything, and had very very particular preferences on multiple things for our wedding day. Orchid House exceeded each of these expectations with ease, always answered my questions willingly, and truly made me feel like they cared just as much as if it were their own wedding day! I primarily worked with Grace, who could not have been more kind and fun to plan our wedding with, not to mention, awesome at what she does! A few additional things to note that I believe differentiate this venue from others: Cost: From the very first tour of the venue, every single cost was outlined up front and provided to us, along with estimates based on our anticipated guest count. There was never a moment where we felt unsure of what the total cost would come out to & we felt confident booking immediately because of the complete transparency. There were no hidden fees that we were not prepared for, and there is a good amount of flexibility to select what you want to adjust your total cost as needed. Venue: If you are a bride in the Northeast Ohio area (or are open to traveling there), I hands down think this is one of the most beautiful venues in the area. Think whimsical fairytale meets modern elegance. Twinkle lights, wine barrels, tons of greenery/flowers, fountains, black and white modern interior, updated fixtures, etc. Daytime, sunset and nighttime are all straight out of a movie, and the feeling I had when I first walked into the place told me I couldn't get married anywhere else. The photos of the venue are incredible, but I highly highly recommend checking it out in person. I had countless people approach me on the day of, simply to tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, all thanks to Orchid House. In addition to the venue itself, the food served at the venue is amazing. So many guests were raving about how wonderful the food and appetizers were, one guest even asked if they would share the recipe for the salmon that was served! Service: Hands down, some of the kindest, most helpful people to work with. In the months leading up to the wedding, not only was Grace incredibly helpful, but various staff members at the restaurant went out of their way to get to know us, to learn all about our big day, and made us that much more excited for the wedding (Kyah, to name one)! On the actual day, the food and beverage was executed seamlessly, including the severe allergies many of our guests had. They will work with you in every way they can to make your day absolutely perfect. When something popped up (as it will on your wedding day like when the groom's tux button fell off immediately before walking down the aisle), Grace and team resolved with ease. The way every single staff member treated me, my now husband, and our entire group is second to none. Brides, if you're looking for a venue that does it all & does it all extremely well, I cannot recommend Orchid House Winery enough.

She even helped my parents pull off a surprise for me during the Father/Daughter dance. Our wedding day had some timeline delays for the reception (not the venue's fault) and she helped us navigate that seamlessly with a smile on her face. Even our wedding party and guests were commenting on how amazing, helpful, and sweet everyone they encountered was. The venue is absolutely stunning; there are no bad angles and a plethora of spots for great pictures. The food is GOOD and several people mentioned it was the best wedding photo they'd had. And the wine is amazing, to top it off! Having our wedding at Orchid House Winery was a literal dream and we wouldn't have changed a thing. At the Orchid House, you can do everything on site. There is no worrying about traveling from place to place to get ready, have the ceremony, take pictures, and have the reception. It was amazing being able to do everything at the venue so we didn’t waste any time traveling! Also, no need to worry about finding outside vendors for food and drinks because The Orchid House supplies these things and they are fantastic. I truly could not have asked for a more perfect place to have my wedding and I am so grateful for everyone from The Orchid House who made my dream come true!

There are many naturally beautiful places for photos. You can always add your own touch with decorations, but there's so much already there from the beautiful surroundings. Highlights include: - stunning views in many locations including a permanent arch and the doors out in the field - a permanent tent for receptions rain or shine (no extra cost). It has these beautiful twinkling lights throughout - great wine and food; they handle the catering and booze - an on-site event coordinator; Grace was amazing and almost like a wedding planner at no additional charge. - A top notch backup indoor site if it happens to rain on your wedding day - the chairs that Orchid House provides at no additional charge are really great for a woodland/fairy/rustic theme. Seriously skip the chair upgrades. - overall very classy ownership. We felt that they did their best to accommodate us. We never like they were trying to upcharge or nickel and dime us. We really loved having our wedding at Orchid House. 5/5.

memorable and unique. We both really became wine lovers over the year prior and thought it might be cool to have our reception at a winery! We looked into a couple in the area and began our tours. When we stepped foot in Orchid House Winery, formerly ThornCreek, I kept looking at Branden saying “OH MY GOSH THIS PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL.” We were grinning from ear to ear during our whole first visit. It was one of those “when you know, you know” moments. We toured one other place and immediately knew we were going to pick ThornCreek. The charm, the layout, the stunning gardens, the staff, the reception area, the renovations, it truly was a dream location. We of course went through a lot of change with the ownership transition from ThornCreek to Orchid House. Once we got paired with Maria, she made everything so smooth and I absolutely loved her straight-forward and honest approach. She made everything super clear on what changes were happening and what options we had. We ended up switching over to the Orchid House package and I’m SO GLAD we did! The drink selection was amazing, everyone loved the new Orchid House wines, especially the slushies! Maria felt like a friend in the process and was willing to meet us and work with us on short notice. She also set everything up perfectly just as we requested. The venue was memorable for everyone. I cannot wait to go to Orchid House Winery on our anniversary every year to relive that day. It’s so nice that we can just go there for dinner every now and then too! We absolutely love this place and all the people that work there. Thank you a million times over to everyone at Orchid House!

t was still thorncreek. New ownership took over at the beginning of 2023 and they were wonderful. Everything from our original contract was upheld and we had no issues with this transition. Maria is great! Very responsive and helpful. The day of our wedding went smoothly, no issues at all from start to finish. Maria and the other staff really want you to enjoy your day and not be stressed out, they know what they are doing so trust that everything will be taken care of. We arrived to the beautiful bridal suite with champagne ready for us. The guys also had a nice area and assortment of brews to hangout and relax before the ceremony. Throughout the night multiple staff members came up to me and my husband making sure we had everything we needed. The venue and gardens are in beautiful condition you really don’t need many decorations the place itself is so pretty, the only decor we had were flowers and a welcome sign and that’s really all you need! 10/10 would recommended orchid house winery for your wedding day. If you’re in the area go check it out in person you’ll fall in love with its beauty and be in good hands with the staff there.

From the manicured, beautiful grounds and gardens, to the style and design of the winery, the elegance was exactly what we dreamed of for our wedding. My favorite part continues to be the garden pathway that leads into the tent that's lit by twinkle lights. Our guests were in awe of the venue's beauty. We continue to be told (over a month later) that it was the prettiest venue many had ever been to. I may be biased, but I thoroughly agree. I truly feel blessed to have been able to have my wedding here, and cannot wait to enjoy our to come!

beauty would elevate the joy of our wedding. Upon touring the venue, we knew immediately that Orchid House would be right for us. We had a 250-person wedding, which required an additional auxiliary tent, and the venue switched ownership in the middle of our planning process. Despite this transition, everyone at Orchid House was consistent in their communication and their willingness to accommodate all of our requests. We used every inch of space for our wedding day; the new bridal suite in the front was utilized for a Jewish tisch ceremony, the main ballroom was utilized for a Catholic service, the tent immediately to the right outside was used for cocktail hour, and the other two tents fit all of our guests PLUS a Klezmer band AND dueling pianos! Even with a large group, OHW felt like an intimate space. We had so many guests marvel that this was the most beautiful venue they had ever seen. The outdoor area is stunning for photos, especially in the afternoon and early evening. We had our ceremony facing the trees (away from the winery itself) and our chairs were arranged in a beautiful semicircle so that all of our guests felt like they had a good view of the ceremony. We NEED to brag about the staff! Working with Emily from Taste of Excellence and Maria from Orchid House was a joy! Out of nowhere, we experienced not one but TWO torrential downpours /thunderstorms during our wedding day. One such storm erupted right as guests started to arrive, and Maria, Emily, and their teams worked with our planner to flip the order of the day. Cocktail hour was split before and after the ceremony (during which there was a brief spot of sunshine) and everyone loved the casual atmosphere that a double cocktail hour provided. The rain came back with a vengeance once all of our guests were in the reception tent, but Maria and her team lept into action to pull down the walls of the tent to keep our guests dry! Their team was also incredibly accommodating for newborns and nursing moms, handicap accessibility, and different dietary restrictions. We loved getting married at Orchid House and cannot recommend it highly enough! (PSA: Enjoy the wine slushies before they run out!)

Orchid house and Maria worked hard all of Friday working to get generators and beautiful lights just in case. They venue also lets you bring decorations the night before if needed which was helpful. The venue itself is gorgeous and everyone was raving about it. There are so many great places for photos. We could not have asked for a better experience. If you choose Orchid House Winery you won’t regret it.

From the unbelievable food, to the amazing wine, to the gorgeous decor. It is classic, chic, and modern. We spent months meeting with Orchid House’s staff planning every detail of our day (admittedly not knowing much about the planning process). Maria guided us with expertise and genuine care throughout every step of the way. She was professional, thoughtful, and detailed oriented until the very end of the wedding evening. She went above and beyond to not only accommodate every ask but offer help in any way possible putting everyone’s mind at ease. The venue’s assisting staff that made the entire day a success couldn’t have been more gracious and supportive. My guests have yet to stop raving about every aspect of the day. We are so grateful and will be regularly returning to Orchid House for dinner (and saying hi to Maria).
