o try to do our best to ensure everyone's day runs as smoothly as possible. Of course sometimes wires can get crossed and assumptions of what will be done vs. what was actually communicated can get lost in translation. I do apologize for that however I do believe we delivered on an exceptional day for you and a few points made were not true and possibly misrepresented to you while you were getting ready and not present during the set up. I was indeed 4 minutes late from the time we allowed you to come in early that morning, however we did accommodate an extra 2 hours of get ready time and allowed your party to come in at 9am instead of our standard 11am start time at no additional cost to you. I do think you misunderstood my position here as a venue coordinator vs. an actual day of wedding planner in our previous discussions. I always try to make it clear that we are here to help but we are not so hands on in that we are going to assemble or build/install anything for you for your set up. Our primary focus is getting our end of the facility set up in time for your service. I said I would help place down your centerpiece items however, at no point before the wedding or at the rehearsal did you let me know that involved trimming fresh bunches of florals to arrange around your candles, you also did not say the additional arch you were bringing in needed to be assembled and you expected our staff to do that. If you had let me know about either of those expected tasks, I would have informed you my staff and I do not offer those services. That morning I was busy making sure the rest of the facility was ready, getting the linens and napkins down, putting out all the ceremony chairs and putting out your guest's entree order cards. Your bridesmaids began early on setting up some of your decor, which is action I normally see at every wedding, I helped where I could when I had the time to do so. You did hire a professional officiant who did a great job directing and providing their own printed out instructions for your bridal party on the processional and order of things for the ceremony so I stepped back and allowed her to do the job you hired her to do on the night of the rehearsal; again I helped where I could but there wasn't much else for me to address. During the actual ceremony, I was working with my staff to get all of the guests in the ceremony space before getting your bridal party down so no one would see you. I was present at the back of the room during the ceremony the entire time to help with pacing your bridal party. I do not know why your father decided last minute to escort your mother down the aisle and then forgot to go back to you. I was not made aware of the change and I was not close enough to where he was seated to try to get his attention to come back. Sometime little hiccups like that happen but it is really no ones fault. I did speak with you during cocktail hour, you did not mention any thing was amiss and complimented your experience so far. I would have done my best to correct anything sooner had it been brought to my attention. I apologize for the delay in response, the GM you spoke with left the company shortly after you spoke with him and the message was not passed on. I do hope you will join us again for a drink sometime, as a former couple you are a part of our Infinity Club for life which gives you a discount on our beverages. We are very sorry again to fall short of your expectations but happy to hear your overall experience for you guests was enjoyed.
