Although she was very nice to my husband and I the ceremony was not what we expected. She asked us to write about ourselves so she could get to know us. In doing that she chose to just copy and paste everything we wrote to read aloud. If I knew that was what would happen I would’ve put so much more thought to what I had to write about my relationship. I felt like she should’ve talked about the commitment we were making and the promises we were making. Instead she talked about how we went on cruises and enjoyed our state’s history.. very disappointed. I thought when writing about what we’ve done together it was just so she could get to know us and not put word for word everything we wrote. I wish I would’ve known better so I could’ve written better stuff. Again a very nice lady but make sure you get ready to write her officiant speech because I wish I could’ve done it all over again. I cringed through most of the ceremony BUT I married the love of my life so it’s all okay in the end!

Carrie officiated our October 2022 wedding in Taos, NM and WOW, was it special. First off-she was incredibly personable and friendly when we inquired with her. She had a calm demeanor and was very thoughtful all around. She wrote the most amazing ceremony after getting to know us through her couple questionnaire. She also entertained our non-traditional ideas (including a “unity shot” at the altar) and allowed my mom be a part of the ceremony, reading a custom script for our lasso ceremony. Additionally, she was very flexible and willing to go the extra mile (or several hundred really), when our original wedding venue in Cerrillos, NM fell through and we were forced to find an alternate location-ending up in beautiful Taos, NM. Carrie was just as excited and willing to make the trip. We have had numerous compliments about her beautiful ceremony and we are so glad we found her! Thank you, Carrie!

Carrie was simply wonderful to work with! She tailored our ceremony to my husband and I perfectly and she was so warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Carrie as she truly made our ceremony special. Thank you, Carrie!

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Carrie is amazing -- so amazing she married my husband and I twice! When Covid disrupted our plans to get married in Vermont in February 2021, my husband and I packed the car, drove from the east coast to New Mexico, and planned to get married just the two of us in Taos. The second I spoke to Carrie, I knew she was special. She went out of her way to get to know us in advance and to craft a ceremony with all the elements we wanted. Her ceremony wove together nature themes, the history we had written for her on our relationship, thoughts we wrote out on each other, and notes our families wrote to us in advance of the big day. The ceremony blew me away. The day of, Carrie was very flexible as our plans changed when our original location got snowed out and we had to change spots! She even brought her husband, Mike, to serve as a witness for the county (thank you, Mike!). Fast forward to a year later, we were having the wedding we originally planned for 2021 in Vermont in February 2022. I couldn't help but want Carrie there to renew our vows. I thought it was a long shot to get Carrie to come to VT, but she was game! Again, she worked with us to build a beautiful ceremony that was both new but also had threads of our Taos ceremony. It meant so much to us that she was willing to make the trek to Vermont. She tied together the two weddings and was the only person to attend both of our weddings (aside from us!). She also had some pretty gnarly travel mishaps too but stayed positive throughout the issues. Carrie has an amazing combination of warmth (without being gushy) and upbeat calmness. Her presence is grounding. She brought so much to both of our weddings and we feel very lucky to have crossed paths with her. Thank you, Carrie! We appreciate it more than we can say.

The sweetest most patient person I've ever worked with! Despite a couple bumps on my end, Carrie was very adaptable and professional throughout the entire process of formulating the best ceremony of a lifetime. She truly gets to know you, your partner, and your relationship together and brings it all into a beautiful ceremony. My guests couldn't stop adoring her wonderful words, and I couldn't stop smiling (and crying!) over how perfect it all was. She also helped calm my nerves and anxiety when it got the best of me too - wonderful human being and would highly recommend for personalized ceremonies!

Carrie was so helpful throughout the process – she truly got to know us as a couple (via her process and a lovely coffee chat), and working with her was like working with a family friend. Many guests after our wedding thought that we knew Carrie for years. She's incredibly thoughtful and was always super attentive to what we wanted/asked for, and she put us at ease with every detail leading up to the wedding.

I have had the opportunity to work with Carrie for a handful of weddings where Carrie was the officiant and she has done an incredible job each time! You can tell she does a wonderful job communicating with her couples and fine tuning each wedding script to reflect their relationships. Plus, Carrie has glowing personality which makes it possible not to smile when she is around. You can tell she really loves working with wedding couples! I highly recommend Carrie if you are looking for a wedding officiant.

Carrie was the best! She wrote our ceremony liked she had known us for years. It was so special and beautiful. Carrie was professional, personable and punctual. We could not have had anyone that was better.

Carrie was so helpful throughout the whole ceremony. I lost my voice and couldn’t not stop coughing from my horrible allergies and she was so kind to me and patient with me! The ceremony Carrie wrote for us was PERFECT!! She made us feel so comfortable and brought together our day perfectly. Carrie went above and beyond and we are so grateful for her!

Carrie is the best officiant ever! She made our day that much more special with her attention to detail in the words she used. Carrie helped to complete our perfect wedding ceremony. It was everything we were hoping for. We booked Carrie on short notice for an elopement style wedding in Santa Fe. She was very accommodating to the short lead time and location. She made sure to get to know us before the ceremony and ensure we were comfortable with the process. She also made sure to include details in the ceremony that were important and unique to us. The words and passages were heart-felt and made the event very memorable for us and our families. Everything went exactly to plan and we couldn’t have hoped for anything better.

Absolutely amazing! In a pinch we hired Carrie last minute as our precious officiant backed out last minute. She was able to capture my husband and I relationship so beautifully. Our ceremony was amazing, and certain aspects she included that I wouldnt have ever thought about and so happy she did! couldn’t have picked a better person to marry us! Thank you so so so much!

We are so happy with our decision to have Carrie as our officiant! She made us feel so comfortable and let us shape the ceremony in the way that we wanted it, but also had suggestions and helped fill in any areas we were unsure of. We loved every second of the ceremony and she helped make it unique to us. Our wedding was a destination wedding in Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico so we didn't have a chance to meet before the wedding day, but it went so smoothly and it felt natural to have her sharing our story with our family and friends. We are so appreciative of the work that Carrie did and we couldn't imagine a better ceremony. Thank you Carrie!
