About this vendor
Three Bites Bakery is a bakery located in Columbus, OH, that specializes in wedding cakes and desserts. Owner Isabella Bonello opened the business in 2019 but has been dreaming about doing so since the early 2000s. As a small-scale bakery, Isabella and her team delight in providing cakes for intimate celebrations. By doing so, they are able to ensure that each sweet treat is tended to with attentive care and made to share with loved ones.
In 2012, Isabella graduated from Ohio State University and decided to follow her passion for cooking. This appreciation and talent were instilled within her from a young age. Due to her Italian and Filipino background, her family found themselves preparing and enjoying food together for all occasions. After working in some of Columbus’s most respected restaurants, Isabella became a full-time baker in 2014 and today offers a decade of professional culinary experience. Three Bites Bakery is inspired by Isabella’s love of Italian and European-style pastry shops and carries a rotating, wide selection of sweet and savory treats.
Three Bites Bakery specializes in custom wedding cakes that reflect the unique relationship and style of each couple Isabella and her team work with. To begin designing a dessert that aligns with your vision, Isabella invites you to reach out to her for a consultation. This bakery offers delicious, unique flavor combinations and can adorn each creation with flowers and other natural elements. If you’d prefer a dessert other than a cake, Isabella is happy to work with you to customize a sweet conclusion to your reception meal.

We had a vintage wedding cake made, and it was absolutely gorgeous and tasted amazing!! It exceeded all expectations. Can’t wait to order more cakes from them!
My fiancé and I tried wedding cake samples from a few different bakeries in Columbus and Three Bites Bakery was by far our favorite! All of the flavors we tried were delicious but ...
our favorites were lemon and pistachio honey for summer. We decided to do a three tiered lemon cake and a couple sheet cakes of the pistachio honey for our wedding count of 180 guests. It was perfect. The cake was beautiful with flowers provided by our florist and it tasted so good! The delivery was seamless and we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding cake! The communication was also great. 10/10 recommend.
We absolutely loved working with Isa and her team, they were so awesome! Our cake was beautiful and delicious, you could not have asked for anything better.
Alllll the stars for Three Bites!! When my husband and I got engaged, one of our first conversations was about the importance of finding a delicious cake. We love supporting our lo...
cal bakeries and started our Official Search for the perfect flavor and style. All I can say is we wish we had found Three Bites long before our wedding. All of their pastries (sweet and savory) are awesome and have unique cultural influences. When we approached Isabella with a challenge, she was excited and motivated to bring our vision to life. We had 15 small cakes at our wedding, one on each guest table, as well as a two-tiered cake for ourselves & the bridal party. Our guests were IN LOVE with the concept, as they got the chance to cut the cake with us on our special day. And the flavor!! For our October wedding, we chose Isa's fall spice cake with honey buttercream frosting and a spiced fig jam. Absolutely incredible and though the flavors were unique, they were a total crowd-pleaser. Hire Three Bites for your events, and go to her shop for all of the amazing goodies!

g boxes. We wanted to do something special & different than just a traditional cake flavor, and the Yuanyuang was it! It was a light coffee/tea flavor, and the cake was moist, flavorful, and DELICIOUS. It was decorated beautifully, and all of our guests remarked about how gorgeous it was. We had a great experience with Three Bites Bakery, all of the flavors we tasted were very tasty and unique. Isabella was great to work with, she was very flexible in our pick-up time and instructions to make sure the cake was stored properly, and she made sure to check in after the wedding to be sure everything was perfect. I'd definitely recommend a cake from Three Bites Bakery, and can't wait to eat more delicious treats from her!

hree Bites, and knew we wanted it at our wedding! We ordered two smaller cakes and a small spread of pastries. Her cakes are dense, flavorful and moist. We ordered honey pistachio and orange cardamom, both tasted amazing and had great texture. The cakes were beautifully decorated with fresh florals and she was able to use our custom cake toppers. She delivered the cakes right on time to our venue and set them up perfectly. All of our guests needed to know where we ordered from! Run, don’t walk, to order from Three Bites.
Three Bites Bakery was beyond perfect for our wedding. We went with a small cake for just us to cut and a cookie spread for our guests. It all looked beautiful and tasted amazing. ...
So many of our guests were asking where the desserts were from because everyone loved them. Isabella the owner offers unique wedding desserts that set her apart from the rest. She is so skilled and talented, I highly recommend Three Bites Bakery to anyone getting married or wanting custom dessert orders for other celebrations (or just because).

e delicious, and the chocolate orange was especially a favorite with our guests! We gave her free range on the decorations, and Isa went above and beyond to make them look great with some classy flowers.
Isa was professional, communicative, and friendly throughout the whole process, and she accommodated our request to use ethically sourced eggs and dairy. We were very happy we went with Three Bites Bakery for our wedding and would love to try some of her other pastries next time we're in Columbus!

f the park on every flavor. Supporting a small business like hers means so much to me and she was fantastic to work with. I love her use of fresh flowers on the cake and her little details on each piece of sheet cake.
Thank you Isa!! We hope to be using her again for any event we have .

. All of our guests RAVED about the Ube Crinkle and Mexican Hot Chocolate cookies. The Chocolate Dipped Shortbread are classic and AMAZING. The Anisette Sprinkle cookies were also such a hit. All the cookies looked so good & tasted so good! Isabella was so great to work with, she made the entire process so easy and seamless. Definitely recommend!

us to cut and perfect slices of vanilla cake for our guests. I tasted both and they were absolutely delicious. Our guests said the cake was so good they had 2 or more slices as they were available. We were so happy that the cake wasn’t something to worry about at the last minute. Isa coordinated with a friend of mine for pickup and everything came out great. She also added fresh flowers as decorations which totally matched the rest of our decor. We even packed two leftover slices and brought them on our honeymoon!

es! I highly recommended Three Bites Bakery for your special day! Due to COVID, we had to cancel our distinction wedding last October. However, we were still able to celebrate our missed wedding date with a gorgeous cake from Three Bites Bakery. Our wedding invite was used as inspiration for the cake design and she nailed it!

cess - I sent her some photos of past cakes of hers that I liked + color palette/flower inspo, and we landed on her pistachio honey (SO tasty.) She was very responsive and was willing to make adjustments at my request. And the best part was, our wedding guests would not stop talking about how incredible the cake was (seriously, it was the main topic of conversation that night.) I can’t say enough great things about Isa and can’t stop dreaming of that cake. Do yourself (and anyone you’ll be celebrating with) a favor and order a Three Bites Bakery cake!

ake with Baileys buttercream frosting for our small outdoor wedding. When I tell you this is the best cake I've ever tasted, I'm not exaggerating. I used to film weddings and have tasted my fair share of wedding desserts and these win hands down. She also made us mini sugar cream hand pies and dark chocolate dipped short bread cookies which were also a hit. We converted several friends into Three Bites Bakery fans that evening and they've since ordered their own pies and baked goods. I'll be dreaming about our wedding cake for a long time and will probably order another one on our one year wedding anniversary to celebrate.
