Hiring Jessica and Emily for our wedding was easily one of the best choices we made. We loved working with both of them, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. She was totally responsive to what we wanted and kept us relaxed and laughing the whole time. Both the candid and the portrait photos are absolutely stunning and we'll cherish them for years to come!

I cannot recommend Jessica highly enough! Not only did she create the most beautiful photos that so perfectly captured our wedding day, but she was so helpful through the entire process and made our day run so smoothly. From buttoning my dress to helping the groomsmen fold their pocket squares, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We joke that we eloped with Jess. We had an intimate wedding on the beach in the outter banks, just our parents, son and Jess. We did a photo shoot before our ceremony at the Victorian gardens, and then a quick, non-officiated ceremony, and a beach photo shoot. The day was a blast. Jess is masterful at directing, supporting, moving things along. The end of the evening, I felt like we had spent the day with a close friend, taking photos. And the photos themselves were a dream.

Jessica went above and beyond for us at both our engagement shoot and our wedding, two years apart from one another. She has such an incredible eye for photography and captured photos of our wedding that look like art. We had a rainy day wedding and Jessica showed up ready to go in a rain coat and was more than happy to stand in the rain with us and capture every moment from start to finish. I would highly recommend Jessica as she is not only incredibly professional and easy to work with, but she is truly truly one of the most talented photographers I have ever seen!

WOW! Jessica photographed our private ceremony in the mountains with only our parents and siblings, and where anyone else would have been the odd man out, she fit right in. She was so much fun to be around!!Especially to LGBTQ couples, we cant recommend her enough. Often photographers are unaware of how to “pose” same-sex couples, and try to fit them into traditionally Mas/Fem “poses”. Jessica just let us be ourselves!!! So so easy, made the day and portraits SO MUCH FUN!! We were only with her for 4 hours and my wife goes “I’m so sad she’s leaving, I hope we get to see her again!” Needless to say Jessica is worth the trip from Florida to NC for WHATEVER photos we need in the future. Oh, icing on the cake our photos were back in 13 days!!!

OMG we love Jessica! We can't rant and rave enough about Jessica. Jessica has been with us since 2017/2018, when Tyler first asked her about a Graduation shoot. Due to a surprise graduation trip we had to put it off, then in 2019 Tyler contacted her about a surprise engagement photoshoot. Jessica went above and beyond to help us capture that magical moment. She was very down to earth and captured our love story for our engagement shoot and now our wedding ceremony. We are obsessed with every picture that Jessica continues to take for us. I cannot thank Jessica enough for the perfect and wonderful ceremony pictures. We strongly recommend Jessica for any moment that you want captured. She is truly talented and she is stuck with us for life now, through each stage of our lives.

The couples session we did with Jessica a few years ago is still one of my favorites. We were both a bit nervous and awkward at first, but Jessica really made us feel comfortable during our session. You can tell she really cares about the people she's working with (compared to some other photographers who come across as quite transactional/business-only). The pictures captured our feelings and personalities and were delivered very quickly. We definitely plan to book Three Region for future sessions!

I have gotten my photo taken a few times for graduations and other peoples weddings. However, the photos Jessica took for my engagement shoot are the best photos I have ever had taken in my life. I am not one to usually write a review but I was blown away by the photo quality and colors. We look like we are on a magazine. Jessica was kind and helped with outfits and colors. I was super nervous before the shoot because of anxiety but Jessica has a calming presence to her. I can’t recommend her enough!

Jessica at Three Region was AMAZING to work with and most importantly did an incredible job of capturing our wedding. We were so happy with our photos and are still geeking out about how amazing they are! In addition to being a talented photographer with a great eye - Jessica is extremely professional, easy to work with, flexible, was willing to help us make decisions about things like - what to wear for engagement photos and where to take photos at particular sites, etc., she had structure in place for payments, structure in place to help us consider our timeline and who to take pictures with when at the wedding, etc. Our only regret is hiring her for a 6 hour package and not hiring her for a full 8 hour package. We loved working with her and will absolutely work with her in the future for any other professional photos we have taken!

Jessica and I met by chance on a flight to the West Coast. She was in the aisle seat trying to catch up on some Z's and, unfortunately for her, my boyfriend and I had too many coffees and were bugging her to use the restroom. Naturally, after the second or third tap-tap-tap, we got to talking. You guys, it is SO easy to connect with Jessica. By the end of the flight, we had followed her on social media, pocketed her business cards, and would soon have an invite to her New Year's Eve party in a matter of months. She's just the best. She was with us for our engagement photos and, two years later, for our wedding. Wes and I are not models by any stretch of the imagination - but Jessica certainly makes us seem like we are! Her photography elevates any backdrop and her self-described documentary-style really captures the essence of who we are as a couple. Being with her puts you at ease, and she's very clear in whatever direction she gives in order to feel natural for those necessary few posed shots. But really Jessica's an industry pro. She knows her stuff. I'm sure if I had asked her to, she could have co-planned the entire wedding. She has such a strong grasp of Day-Of itinerary and will find pockets of time to steal you away for charming vignettes around the venue or, more specifically for us, for portraits with our dog in our wedding suite before the reception really kicked off. Did I mention her connections are unreal? She was the bridge that helped us find our jazz band (whose bandleader was also a former client). With Jessica, you feel like family, and to be in her circle means to meet some crazy-talented folks! I cannot recommend her enough. She is in-demand and booked and busy (for good reason!!!) but will find the time post-party to squeeze in a couple of photos because she knows you're dying to see them - just something to hold you over until the full gallery is ready. Her photographs are artistic, just the right amount of rich and moody, and even in digital form look like giclee. They make you relive the day all over again with a warmth that emanates from the love she puts into the crafting and editing. Wes and I are lucky to have been seated with her on that flight to San Diego. We can't wait for the chapters in life we'll experience together!

Jessica was amazing every step of the process which for us included 2 weddings one last year which just our family because of covid and our one we dreamed and planned pre covid. She was always available for questions and was super supportive during hard decisions. She met with us and learned who we are and really made out weddings memorable. I could no scream three regions praise enough.

I highly recommend booking Jessica for any special moments you may want photographed. Having photos taken professionally for the first time can be really intimidating, but Jessica is the easiest person to warm up to and she provides clients with a ton of extremely helpful information. My fiancé hates having photos taken but after our engagement session he was completely shocked at how natural if felt the whole time. We absolutely adore our engagement photos and we cannot wait to see the magic Jessica delivers with our wedding photos next October.

Jessica is amazing! I found her work on Instagram and on The Knot, and after an initial conversation, booked her immediately for our wedding next spring. I am going to start this review by disclosing that we (yes, my partner who usually hates getting his picture taken included) loved working with Jessica so much that 48 hours after our wedding we signed up for another session with her. Yes, she is that amazing and yes, you will become addicted to how you look through her lens. I cannot express how grateful I am that we chose Three Region Photography to capture our wedding. Jessica’s professionalism, authenticity, adaptability and talent are truly awe-inspiring. From the moment we first booked to our wedding day, she communicated quickly and effectively about how to prepare with her planning guide and the timeline for the event. The day of we were running an hour or more behind schedule, and I was a whirlwind of emotions, but she was able to quickly adapt the schedule and offer the reassurance I needed that it was all going to work out great. When we were with her, everything seemed to slow down and we were able to enjoy and cherish being together in that moment. She brought out the best in everyone she photographed; somehow capturing the joy, the excitement, the laughter and the love perfectly. Her photographs of that day are absolutely STUNNING and MAGICAL. Also, the speed with which she delivered both our engagement session and wedding photos is unbelievable. She is a brilliant, amazing person and I am so looking forward to working with her again very soon.

Jessica was our engagement and wedding photographer and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for a photographer! We were in love with her photography style already, but after meeting her we liked her even more. It felt like doing a photoshoot with a friend. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and definitely helped us feel relaxed on our wedding day. Instead of wedding day photos being a drag, she makes them a fun part of your day! She is not cookie cutter yet her style is classic enough to never look dated. We can't wait to work with her again!

I've been putting off this review for a while but only because I don't feel like I have ability to express how much I LOVED working with Jessica and how great our photos turned out! Jessica takes the time to get to know you and your partner and what your needs are. She is thorough in making sure you go over expectations, scenery, lighting, who will be in your photos, etc. She is punctual, excited, and very easy to work with! Often it can be awkward taking photos that are supposed to represent the intimate aspects of your marriage/relationship but Jessica puts you at ease and is so understanding of the situation. She gives great advice and wonderful options to choose from but if you don't love ALL of your photos I would be extremely surprised. Due to Covid-19, we had to call off the large scale wedding we had planned, we still got married, still had Jessica come for our photos but to be honest my expectation were not super high only because the lighting in the venue was terrible. While I should have never doubted Jessica's magic, but I thought to myself "how good can they be with this lighting and this boring room?". It BLEW ME AWAY how wonderful all the photos turned out despite my concerns and I ended up posting EVERY SINGLE PICTURE to our Facebook for our friends and family to see. That's how great they were! I cannot recommend her enough! Thank you so much Three Region Photography!

I’m not exaggerating, and I can’t emphasize this enough *Jessica is shockingly great*. My husband and I have never had professional photos taken (we are nervous and usually pretty unphotogenic.. think thumbs up, air pointing, double chins, etc) our wedding was the first time working with a photographer and holy.. shit.. JESSICA NOT ONLY GOT OUR PHOTOS TO US WITHIN A WEEK THE PHOTOS WERE SO GREAT THEY WENT VIRAL. She was easy to work with, funny, gave great direction (an important detail you want in a photographer), and I actually think she was maybe responsible for rerouting a tornado on my wedding day. 109920 out of 10. Can not recommend enough

Amazing! That is the easiest way to describe Jessica. Jessica did an incredible job photographing our courthouse wedding for us. We are beyond thrilled with how the pictures turned out. Two weeks before the wedding she sent out a planning guide that was really helpful in helping me figure out what my timeline was and what photos I wanted to prioritize. Jessica was fantastic! We are so happy we chose her to be our wedding photographer. She is organized, professional, punctual and a really talented photographer. She helped us capture the day perfectly. I honestly don't know how she got so many beautiful pictures and caught all the right moments. She edited pictures and got them back to us extremely quickly. My fiancé and I had a great time with Jessica during our engagement shoot at the NCMA. After another photographer cancelled my appointment, Jessica made time to meet with me soon after to make sure that I had someone to capture our surprise engagement. Three Region Photography is the bomb.com! I planned my wedding from out of state, and Jessica was able to help me figure everything out from afar. She is super professional and detail-oriented, and followed my exact instructions that I left for her :) I really appreciated her quick and thorough communication via email. The day of my wedding she seamlessly blended into the event, while capturing amazing moments. She has such an eye for photos that while taking them I was like "hmm not sure how this will look" but then got photos back and was like "wow that turned out so cool!" I also feel like she is priced well amongst competition. Moral of the story: hire her for your event and you will get photos that are unique and timeless, while also connecting with a fantastic person.

Jessica is absolutely fabulous. She recently shot our engagement pictures, and was so kind and easy-going throughout the entire process. She was very professional, and made us feel comfortable (even with a hyper-active dog and a few wardrobe malfunctions!) Her pictures are natural and candid, which is just want we wanted. Jessica photographed our wedding this past August. We could not be happier with the experience and the photos we received. Jessica was so laid back and fun to work with! We decided, after signing the contract, that we actually wanted to add an engagement session in exchange for reducing photography hours on the day of the wedding. I was a little nervous to ask to alter the contract but Jessica was extremely flexible and kind, and worked with us to design the perfect package. My husband and I were a little uncomfortable being the center of attention and taking posed photographs at first, but Jessica knew exactly what to say to get us to relax and have a good time; we ended up having a lot of fun during the sessions. So the experience of working with Three Region and having them be there for our wedding day was wonderful due to Jessica’s wonderful personality and approach. But more importantly—the quality of the product delivered exceeded all of our expectations! We absolutely love our wedding photos. We have received many compliments from friends and family that the style of our wedding photos are so unique, and many of them look “magazine quality.” So many really special moments were captured during our ceremony and reception that we may have missed otherwise. Where do we begin !? Jessica was incredible and rocked out on our wedding day. We will forever cherish the memories she has captured on camera for us. If you are looking for a dependable, relaxed, and incredibly skilled photographer---Jessica is your girl. She makes everyone feel comfortable and is great at directing the shoot in a timely fashion. She makes engagement and wedding photos seem effortless. My husband and I are not great in front of a camera (we feel kind of awkward) and Jessica made us feel comfortable while also extracting our style in our pictures. We love the candids, the mood lighting, and overall style of her pictures; they have a very romantic feel. She is extremely passionate and even more prepared to make your day exactly what you want! She made sure to get all of the important photos we wanted and even had an emergency kit to get some lipstick off of my dress! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer!!!

It's our one year anniversary tomorrow and we're sitting outside by the fire listening to our wedding playlist and looking at the photos from our wedding day. It's amazing how much we feel like we're back in the moment - getting ready, our first look, walking down the aisle, and dancing the night away. It was the best night of our lives and Jessica did more than take photos - she captured the soul of that day - the love, the excitement, the joy. The details of that day may fade over time for us, but the feeling we had never will...and Jessica memorialized that emotion in every detail so that we can relive how the flowers smelled, the grasshoppers in the train of my dress, how I cried saying my vows, and the love our friends and family showed us that day. I couldn't recommend Jessica more.

Oh my goodness where do I even begin!? The first time we met Jessica, we instantly loved her and knew we wanted her as our photographer. Jessica did our engagement photos and wedding photos and she really captured me and my husband. She took the time to get to know us and was always prompt with communication and always on time. On our wedding day Jessica showed up early and told me she had already scoped out all the good spots for photos. That was such a relief to me because our venue had tons of photo opportunities and I was so happy Jessica made the decision as to where photos would be taken. Jessica really knew what we wanted and gave us beyond what we could have imagined for portraits. We go through our photos and have such a hard time picking our favorites and that is such a blessing. She made Tim and I feel so comfortable on the day of and she kept such a calm demeanor. I can’t tell you how many compliments we’ve gotten on our wedding and engagement photos. Everyone said they were so impressed with how well Jessica captured our relationship and theme of the wedding. She also had such a great turn around time for photos too. I want to say we got our photos within 3-4 weeks if not sooner and she gives you plenty of sneak peeks! I promise you will not be disappointed with her work. I can tell you Tim and feel so grateful to have had Jessica part of our day and we definitely plan to use her in the future!

Most people hire a wedding vendor in hopes of having someone who is nice and good at what they do. Usually you can form a good professional relationship, but Jessica is so much more than a typical vendor. I met Jess two years ago and she has become such a close friend. I call her for answers because she knows everything about everything, and sometimes I call just to vent. I knew that Jess was the right photographer for me because she embodies exactly what I want in a photographer from her style to attention to detail. Jess helped me in more ways than I can even list during my wedding weekend. She took on many roles than had nothing to do with photography, but she was happy to help in any way she could. Three Region Photography is the best! Jessica photographed our engagement last fall and wedding this spring. We love all the pictures; I’m having a terrible time trying to pick my favorite for a large print. She used our setting and the natural light in a way that made everything look quite magical. Jessica did an INCREDIBLE job! We knew we'd lucked out after our in-home engagement shoot, which was such a blast and resulted in some amazing photos. Jessica and her team killed it! I fell in love with her moody style after seeing pictures on Instagram. My husband and I do not love getting our picture taken so I was stressed about engagement photos. But when we got there, Jessica made us feel at ease...actually, like models! On my wedding day, I felt super comfortable around her, even after only meeting her once. It may have helped that she was super responsive on emails, Instagram, and Facebook, in-between. For both my engagement and wedding photos, she was a master of finding cool photo spots. I gave her a city and the feeling I liked--industrial--and she found the spots! She didn't limit wedding photos to just my venue, too. We went on top of parking garages! No matter the weather, she will get the shot. For engagement photos, it was cloudy but the pictures were perfect. For the wedding, it was super foggy and I have the coolest looking pictures from that. Its rare to meet someone who is cool, chill, and hip but also reliable, professional, and trustworthy--but Jessica is that! Go check out her pictures! I have gotten soo many compliments on mine!

As the planner/designer, we worked with Three Region Photography on an absolutely stunning wedding!! The clients were beyond amazing, but what also blew me away, was Jessica's (of Three Region) ability to capture the pure beauty of the day. Having a photographer do justice to your clients wedding day is so very important, not only to the client and their memories, but for each vendor's portfolios. Thank you for being a rockstar! Jessica and her team were incredible. She was so patient, easy to work with (quick to respond and reassure etc), and they took truly beautiful and unique pictures. I'm going to cut to the chase. This is going to be a glowing review of Jessica and her team in every way. I have a bad habit of setting vague, yet high expectations of things, and our wedding photography experience was certainly subject to this. Three Region Photography delivered and excelled in ways I couldn't have imagined. My wife and I got married at a farm thirty minutes outside of town about a little more than three weeks ago (we already have our photos, by the way). A short ceremony started at 3:30 in the afternoon, and a reception followed that sprawled all across the vast venue space on the property. Let me list just a few of the obvious challenges that this posed to our photographers: 1) From a photography standpoint, a short ceremony means there isn't a ton of time to find good angles and composition before the vows, rings, and first announcement. 2) That's a lot of space for two people to cover, and when the bride, groom, wedding party, and families are floating all over the farm, you have to make decisions about where to be at what times, risking missing something somewhere else. 3) In mid afternoon, the sun is shining through the trees on the foreground (and often uninhibited on the background) of every scene you look at. The contrast that this creates often leads to images that draw your eyes to the background, or some oddly lit object off to the side. My point is that it couldn't have been easy, but the beauty of the product that Three Region Photography delivered to us cannot be overstated. When I take a picture of something, I look at it later and simply say, "Oh yeah, that happened." When I went through the album that Jessica sent to us, the feelings, emotions, and sensations from each moment returned to me as clearly as if I'd been transported back. In the shoots that we did together, Jessica gave us a sense of comfort necessary to capture those intimate moments. She's hysterical, talented, has outstanding instincts, and will work long hours to make sure her clients get photos that are more than colorful rectangles. They are little portals back to those experiences.

Jessica was one of the hands down best decisions we made for our wedding. My husband and I wanted a very specific style and Jessica truly fit the bill. Her work is stunning, authentic, and everything we could have wanted when we envisioned capturing our wedding day. Her unique attitude when it comes to working with clients made us feel completely at ease with every step of the process. She was never unavailable to answer questions or address our fears of getting photographed. After an unfortunate tornado destroyed our first venue, Jessica was able to accommodate us and our venue change. Her flexibility allowed what could have been a tragic situation to be something that was low stress. I truly think her ability to be understanding and to care for her clients showcases what a truly hardworking and caring individual she is. I cannot say enough good about Jessica and her work with Three Region Photography. We will forever cherish our photos and memories that she so perfectly captured on our special day.

As with our caterer, we also stumbled across Three Region Photography while feeling overwhelmed at the Raleigh Bridal Expo. Immediately, Jessica's work stood out from the rest of the photographers whose work was on display. They all chose classic posed portraits to adorn their displays. That's a great thing for some people, but my husband and I found all those posed moments to be missing the warmth and love you associate with a wedding day. Then we walked around a corner and saw Three Region Photography. Where others were muted and posed and used sepia tones, her display pieces popped from the walls. They had color. They had joy. She captured movement in a split second. And they had life. As my husband and I met swing dancing, we knew our wedding and reception would be full of motion. One meeting and we knew Jessica would be the one to capture that. We had an engagement session with her about 6 months before the wedding, and she was amazing. She was very receptive to the ideas we did have, and able to guide us where we didn't have preferences, or even have a clue. She took us to three different locations in 60 minutes, *and* turned the photos around in a crazy short amount of time, knowing that we wanted them for our save the dates since our previous photo didn't work out. The wedding worked out perfectly. She captured the moments as motion frozen in time, as well as the family portraits and moments that you imagine in your wedding album. There are pictures of my dress flying up off the floor as we danced, of family members hugging behind us, of our first look from afar, and some amazing pictures of the people who were there to make this our day. Hiring Three Region Photography was by far the best decision we made for our wedding in Hillsborough. The team consisted of Jessica (who we initially contacted) and Emily for the wedding day. They were skillful and creative in the use of our unique venue, and were able to capture the whimsical nature of our wedding with ease. I can't say it enough, Jessica at Three Region Photography is AMAZING. It all started out in March 2017, when she photographed our engagement photos in Boston. Her personality and unique approach to shooting photos was a clear indication we HAD to have her shoot our wedding as well. She has a way of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera! We loved our engagement photos, and also her and her husband! September 2018 rolls around, and she drives all the way from North Carolina to Rochester NY as a Hurricane Florence is hitting down south. No seriously! On the day of our wedding she showed up early, and was so wonderful to work with again. She made sure to ask us what WE wanted, and made sure she got every shot we had specifically requested. I just LOVE her approach to everything- from teaching us the "drunken stumble" walk to her "moody" golden hour photos, the day was such a blast and it will forever be captured in the beautiful photos she took. We had our photos sent to us just 10 days after the wedding. I can't say enough good things about Jessica as a person, she is truly wonderful and has an incredible eye for photography. You will not regret booking with her!

I could write a book about how amazing Three Region is. I found her when I decided I wanted to do my engagement photos at the NC State Fair. I searched for photographers in the area that embraced color and shot well in low light. Jessica seemed more than capable. My husband (then fiance) was very uncomfortable, but Jessica helped him loosen up and make the experience enjoyable. Most importantly, the pictures turned out incredible and I am still getting compliments about them. She also gives you COMPLETE access to the pictures without having to pay to print through her, which is really nice. Full disclosure, I won Jessica's elopement contest, so she shot my elopement in Asheville for free (which was basically like winning the lottery). Again, she was extremely professional, joked around with us, and made us feel at ease. Sometimes she would give us weird instructions and said "trust me." TRUST HER. The only thing better than her professionalism and warmness during the event is the pictures you get afterward, which she somehow manages to get back to you in less than a week. Pick Three Region! You will not regret it.

We heard about Jessica from our friends and seriously feel like we won the lottery! Jessica is so talented! She has a talent for capturing memories perfectly! It is definitely an art and she does an amazing job! She traveled to Virginia, three hours out of the way, with us for engagement pictures at a family farm in the middle of no where. She was 100% on board even though it was freezing and she gave us incredible photos that I'll treasure forever. And the wedding! I couldn't pick handful of favorites if I love so many of them! She's so fun to be around and helped put us at ease for sure! She's got a gift and I'm so glad she's sharing it with the rest of us! She did such an amazing job! Not only were our photos beautiful, but she helped with other things, like putting the bouquets in water, that helped me relax a little bit. We were running behind and she even stayed a little late to make sure she captured everything.
