I want photography to be more than just a checkmark on your to-do list. You may not realize it now, but of all the things that you are planning, choosing, coordinating and pinteresting, photography is one of those rare mediums that we can bring with us. Even as our memory fades, photography allows us to revisit moments that can cause our hearts to swell with emotion again and again.
I want to capture all those candid, in-between, beautiful, genuine moments that are more meaningful in every single way. Moments like when your little niece wants to try on your shoes as you are all getting ready. Or the excitement you can’t keep contained as you look to your guests after sharing your first kiss as husband + wife. Or that moment you can't hold back your tears as it truly sinks in how incredibly and incandescently happy you are. I want to capture both the silent and still moments and also the inevitable dance-off that is bound to happen now that all your old class-mates are together again. Essentially, what I really want to give you is something more. What I really want to give you is something to look at it years from now that triggers those goosebumps, those tears of joy, those bouts of laughter and has you truly remembering how this day felt.
I want us to be friends. I want us to dig deep. I want to capture moments and glimpses of who you are and what your love means to one another. I don’t want some posed and awkward-feeling pictures of you guys. I want to make this experience fun, effortless and memorable in the very best way. I want you to be able to simply focus on how ridiculously amazing it is, that you have this awesome, quirky, incredible person you’re about to marry.

Hi There! I'm Natalie and Three: Seventeen is my joy! I am currently based in an old craftsman style home in the country west of Milwaukee. I love to travel and can't wait for my next adventure. I truly love people and relationships. I see photography as a means of storytelling. Its a vessel through which we can capture a moment, preserve an emotion, and revisit a time over and over again. My goal is to use the gifts I have to contribute to others' joy and live as grateful and true. I try to live this in my everyday life, and have founded my creative practice on this ideal.

Natalie was our wedding photographer for our wedding in June - 2024 (and our engagement photos in August - 2023)! To say that we were lucky to have Natalie as our photographer is an understatement. From the very beginning, Natalie helped us through the entire wedding photography process. We had several check-ins leading up to our wedding, and she answered any and all questions we had. She was very thorough and took note of any special moments we wanted captured throughout our day. Natalie was extremely easy to work with and helpful during the entire process. It was clear to us from the beginning of our time working with Natalie that she cares so much about the work she does! On the day of our wedding, there was rain and storms forecasted. Natalie was prepared for everything: she came with creative ideas, as well as umbrellas for outdoor photos in case there was some lighter rain. Thanks to Natalie, my husband and I have stunning photographs to look back on from our wedding forever. She perfectly captured so many amazing moments from our special day. We couldn’t be happier that we chose to work with Natalie! She is absolutely amazing, and we would recommend her to ANYONE who is looking for an amazing photographer! ❤️

Neither my husband or I typically enjoy getting pictures taken - but Natalie put us at ease and captured absolutely beautiful photos for both our engagement shoot and wedding day! I would 100% recommend Natalie to anyone. She is professional, warm, kind, and very organized! I was also in awe of how she captured our normal, everyday places like our favorite walking spots, wine bar, and neighborhood in such a way that revealed their beauty. Natalie was even willing to traipse through the snow at our reception to get the most magical winter shots!

Would absolutely recommend Three Seventeen Photography to anyone! Natalie was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding with tips on how to schedule the day (getting ready, arrival times, family portraits, organizing wedding party). She was easy to work with on the day of as well. She easily organized the wedding party/family and posed everyone seamlessly. Most importantly our pictures turned out amazing and we got them back quickly as well. We had a great experience overall!

Natalie was a lot of fun to work with. She made us feel comfortable. Not only was she easy going and able to go with the flow of the day. Her directions were very clear and easy to follow which made our wedding day go by so much smoother. Natalie is someone who is very easy to talk to and communicate with. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer. We love all of the pictures we received from her.

We loved working with Natalie! For both our engagement and wedding photos she really captured the sweet moments between my husband and I, but also the funny/silly moments. She made my husband, who hates photos, super comfortable. Natalie has a really special gift in capturing as she says "the quiet moments" and I highly recommend her if you like candid shots!

Natalie and her father, Jeff were so easy to work with. As mother of the groom, I submitted a list of family members that I wanted to be photographed with the couple. They were pleased to accommodate my requests. During the reception, Natalie approached me several times to see whether there were any other photos that I wanted. I highly recommend Three: Seventeen.

Natalie was amazing! Her use of lighting and ability to capture key moments of our day gave us priceless keepsakes to look at and reminisce for the rest of our lives. I wasn't feeling the greatest the day of, so I was unable to take pictures with just my bridesmaids, but Natalie so kindly offered to schedule a separate time to get together and take those photos. I haven't been able to schedule this yet, but the kind gesture really shows that she really values the satisfaction of her customers. Thank you, Natalie!

Natalie captured the true essence of our special day. We worked with her for our engagement and wedding photos. Natalie was our favorite vendor we hired for our wedding! She did a fantastic job on our engagement pictures. (Engagement pictures were also valuable practice working together. We were way less stressed about posing for the camera on the big day after doing the engagement session!) And she traveled to Chicago for us to shoot them! From the day I hired her to the wedding day, she was cool, calm, and so organized! She really helped keep us on track! We felt that she captured every moment we wanted plus more! She even put together a great sneak peak of pictures for us only 1 week after the wedding! Bottom line, if Natalie is available on your date, HIRE HER!

Natalie was an AMAZING photographer for our wedding! I would and have recommended her to all of my friends, and have seen her work several other weddings as well. She is incredibly professional and worked tirelessly all day for our big event, even pitching in with help setting up and tearing down. At the same time she had my bridesmaids and I laughing all day and was truly part of the joyful experience of our big day.
Our photos were available soon after the wedding and each and every one of them was truly beautiful. Natalie knows how to capture the essence and personality of the couples she works with, and my hubby and I will treasure our wedding photos for the rest of our lives!
