Food and drinks were incredible, staff were kind and attentive, and the venue looked stunning with added candles and florals in The Yard. Considering everything they provided and supported us with on our wedding day, it was remarkable that we were able to remain within our budget. Threes Brewing Gowanus is truly an affordable and outstanding option for hosting a wedding. In the days leading up to our wedding, whenever we visited the venue, the staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and hospitable. It was lovely having an indoor and outdoor area to work with, with natural light showing off the wood and brick indoors and the greenery outdoors. May. Our guests were blown away by the venue and the food. Both Dave and Angie were extremely accommodating of our wishes for the day, including allergen accommodations, and gave us recommendations that fit our vibe for what we wanted along the way. They were the perfect balance of being on top of everything without being overbearing from start to finish (which was perfect for us very Type B people who needed help Type A planning). They will truly accommodate whatever kind of vision you have for your own wedding! The rest of the staff was also incredibly professional and lovely. We both are so happy we went with Threes and hope that everyone can have an experience like we did!

On the night of the wedding, the amazing staff, including Fletcher, Sarah, and countless others, made sure we were fed and taken care of far beyond closing time. They were not only professional but also genuinely fun, leaning into our theme and even dancing along with us. The space itself was exactly what we envisioned. The backyard was a beautiful, intimate setting for our ceremony with its gorgeous greenery, while the main bar provided a perfect, open yet cozy aesthetic for our welcome drinks and dancing. The flow between the two spaces felt seamless and comfortable for all our guests. And the food! Our guests are still raving about the delicious meal from Grand Army. Grand Army is the on- site culinary vendor. You literally can’t go wrong picking dishes; our guests all went back for second helpings. Angie Hansen and Dave May (Threes’ event specialists and coordinators) were supportive and affirming at every turn. On the day of, I didn’t have to think about our schedule or logistics one bit. Angie and the Threes staff took care of everything flawlessly. My wife, our families, our friends, and I had so much fun.

We finally found Threes Brewing in Greenpoint, went one evening to visit, and knew we had found the place. Threes provided an atmosphere that felt non-stuffy and intimate. It was exactly the right place for a wedding party. We got married on 6.1.24 and truly had a perfect day. Angie Hansen, the event coordinator, is an absolute angel. Angie had a calm approach that we really loved and she was on top of every little detail. We must have sent over 15 emails the week leading up to the wedding and she answered every one immediately. She was so patient and kind throughout the entire planning process. The staff on the day of the wedding were incredible. Our guests wouldn't stop talking about how cool of a wedding it was. For more context, we were married in the bar with about 50 family and friends watching and then transitioned right into the party (about 100 guests). We did a full buy-out, which was more than enough space including the outdoor area on a sunny day! I don't know what else to say other than--don't hesitate a moment longer and book at Threes! You won't regret it :) Thank you Angie and team for making our day perfect. We will never forget it!

She made us feel so validated in every decision we made along the way, always conscious of how to make a suggestion without having us feel like we couldn't change our minds if needed. Angie made everything so easy for us and (more importantly) our planner, and she seemed to always be able to accommodate whatever request we came to her with (and get answers back quickly). And what a space! For our event of ~120 people, we rented the backyard and the main indoor space and felt like people flowed perfectly between them. They helped us set up and break down the food that we brought in which was above and beyond! credibly on top of it, super accommodating, and always a pleasure to deal with the whole way through. (We'd say the same for the whole staff, especially on our wedding day itself.) The venue itself was beautiful, especially the backyard (thankfully, the weather cooperated). The space was the perfect size for our guest list (about 80 people). Our guests raved about the quality of the food from the Meat Hook. The bar was well staffed all night long, meaning there was very little waiting for people looking to get drinks. And despite Threes rightfully being known for its beer, the house cocktails and wine were excellent. Also worth mentioning: They were extremely flexible with payment terms, which goes a long way in New York. They even got the A/V right for the ceremony (which turns out to be more of a rarity than it should be, based on what our other married friends have told us about their experiences elsewhere). Long story short, we couldn't be happier with everything at Threes. Highly, highly, highly recommended!
