Considering everything they provided and supported us with on our wedding day, it was remarkable that we were able to remain within our budget. Threes Brewing Gowanus is truly an affordable and outstanding option for hosting a wedding. In the days leading up to our wedding, whenever we visited the venue, the staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and hospitable. These thoughtful gestures greatly enhanced the overall atmosphere and made the experience even more special. Many of our family members and friends commented on how perfectly the venue and its ambiance suited us as a couple, and we are incredibly grateful for that. Angie and her team exceeded our expectations in every way and helped make our wedding day truly unforgettable. Additionally, every single one of our guests raved about the food, describing it as some of the best they have ever had at a wedding—and we wholeheartedly agree. We cannot recommend Threes Brewing Gowanus highly enough for such a special occasion. We are already looking forward to returning and may even celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary there.

May. Our guests were blown away by the venue and the food. Both Dave and Angie were extremely accommodating of our wishes for the day, including allergen accommodations, and gave us recommendations that fit our vibe for what we wanted along the way. They were the perfect balance of being on top of everything without being overbearing from start to finish (which was perfect for us very Type B people who needed help Type A planning). They will truly accommodate whatever kind of vision you have for your own wedding! The rest of the staff was also incredibly professional and lovely. We both are so happy we went with Threes and hope that everyone can have an experience like we did!  

th. They were incredibly responsive and proactive, thinking of every detail so we didn't have to (Angie even kept an eye on the Doppler for us!). On the night of the wedding, the amazing staff, including Fletcher, Sarah, and countless others, made sure we were fed and taken care of far beyond closing time. They were not only professional but also genuinely fun, leaning into our theme and even dancing along with us. The space itself was exactly what we envisioned. The backyard was a beautiful, intimate setting for our ceremony with its gorgeous greenery, while the main bar provided a perfect, open yet cozy aesthetic for our welcome drinks and dancing. The flow between the two spaces felt seamless and comfortable for all our guests. And the food! Our guests are still raving about the delicious meal from Grand Army. The mac and cheese, chicken, and mapo tofu were all incredible, and they easily accommodated every dietary need we had. If you're looking for a unique, all-inclusive, and genuinely fun wedding venue in Brooklyn with an expert team, look no further than Threes Brewing. We highly recommend them!

han we could have dreamed. Their Gowanus courtyard of flourishing vines and hops blooms is practically ready to go, especially since tables, linens, dishes, cutlery, and chairs are included. Grand Army is the on- site culinary vendor. You literally can’t go wrong picking dishes; our guests all went back for second helpings. Angie Hansen and Dave May (Threes’ event specialists and coordinators) were supportive and affirming at every turn. On the day of, I didn’t have to think about our schedule or logistics one bit. Angie and the Threes staff took care of everything flawlessly. My wife, our families, our friends, and I had so much fun.

We also had a gluten-free menu - provided by their talented catering vendor (Gotham Burger Social Club) - and the brewery staff went above and beyond to provide delicious options for all of our guests. It was such a relief to know that dietary restrictions were handled with care and attention. A special shoutout to Angie, the director of private events, who made the entire planning process seamless. From the very first meeting to the day of the event, she was incredibly helpful, attentive, and accommodating. She made sure every detail was covered, and her calm, professional approach helped everything run smoothly. Overall, we highly recommend Threes Brewing for any private event. We finally found Threes Brewing in Greenpoint, went one evening to visit, and knew we had found the place. Threes provided an atmosphere that felt non-stuffy and intimate. It was exactly the right place for a wedding party. We got married on 6.1.24 and truly had a perfect day. Angie Hansen, the event coordinator, is an absolute angel. Angie had a calm approach that we really loved and she was on top of every little detail. We must have sent over 15 emails the week leading up to the wedding and she answered every one immediately. She was so patient and kind throughout the entire planning process. The staff on the day of the wedding were incredible. Our guests wouldn't stop talking about how cool of a wedding it was. For more context, we were married in the bar with about 50 family and friends watching and then transitioned right into the party (about 100 guests). We did a full buy-out, which was more than enough space including the outdoor area on a sunny day! I don't know what else to say other than--don't hesitate a moment longer and book at Threes! You won't regret it :) Thank you Angie and team for making our day perfect. We will never forget it!

From our earliest inquiries through to the day itself, Angie (director of private events & corporate services) was an absolute superstar – a true gem of a human being, who took all of the biggest stresses of organizing this kind of event off our plate and helped us tailor every detail to match our dreams for what the night would look like. She made us feel so validated in every decision we made along the way, always conscious of how to make a suggestion without having us feel like we couldn't change our minds if needed. We lost track of the number of our guests on the night itself who told us how perfect the venue was, how much they loved the food and drink, and how wonderful all the staff were. For all of that and so much more, we have Angie and her incredible team at Threes to thank – you will always have our love and gratitude for everything you did to make this the best night of our lives!

Angie made everything so easy for us and (more importantly) our planner, and she seemed to always be able to accommodate whatever request we came to her with (and get answers back quickly). And what a space! For our event of ~120 people, we rented the backyard and the main indoor space and felt like people flowed perfectly between them. (And we’ve been to weddings where it felt like everyone was either outdoors or inside!) The ambiance/vibes of the place were everything we were hoping for.

They helped us set up and break down the food that we brought in which was above and beyond! We never felt rushed and I definitely felt like a valued customer. 10/10 would book another event there!

The venue itself was beautiful, especially the backyard (thankfully, the weather cooperated). The space was the perfect size for our guest list (about 80 people). Our guests raved about the quality of the food from the Meat Hook. The bar was well staffed all night long, meaning there was very little waiting for people looking to get drinks. And despite Threes rightfully being known for its beer, the house cocktails and wine were excellent. Also worth mentioning: They were extremely flexible with payment terms, which goes a long way in New York. They even got the A/V right for the ceremony (which turns out to be more of a rarity than it should be, based on what our other married friends have told us about their experiences elsewhere). Long story short, we couldn't be happier with everything at Threes. Highly, highly, highly recommended!
