She's extremely flexible and willing to make the client very happy and pleased. She also directs people well to get the wedding party together. I've been involved in weddings where the photographer is extremely rude and never got that vibe from Lisa. I have been the bride with her and a bridesmaid, so I've seen her in action a couple times. She is reasonably priced and offers some great deals. When I was wedding planning, photographers can get so expensive. When I came across Thrive, she offered everything I wanted and then some that was around my budget. I recommend her to anyone who wants a photographer who is passionate, reasonably priced and eager to be creative. I look forward to working with her again for future photo shoots! I look forward to watching her and her company grow.

She was also the photographer at my brother's wedding and again her pictures were unique and very in line with the style of the bride and groom. She will be the photographer for my wedding a few months! She did our engagement session and the photographs were great! She definitely captured our vision in her work. She allows you to be very actively involved in the pictures so you get what you want out of the session, but also has great suggestions to lead the way! Lisa also designed our save the dates which I absolutely LOVED! She has many differnt options to choose from when picking a photography package which is great for brides of all budgets! Everywhere I looked in Milwaukee, we felt like the choices were either to pay for a really well known, reputable photographer who was far too expensive for ONE person ($6k+ for 8 hours) or be stuck with the big shops and gamble with quality. I found Thrive Photography & Design via Facebook, and am so happy we chose them! They were cost-effective, so we could afford two photographers for the whole day/evening, as we got to create a custom package, removing and adding things that mattered to us. Lisa Hamilton truly listened to us, understood our preferences, and made us feel comfortable and confident during both our engagement photo shoot and throughout our wedding day. We wanted really nice, classic photos, and didn't want to be put into awkward poses (like leg pops and guy-carrying-girl) that didn't feel like our style. She did a great job creating scenes and poses that felt more natural to us, and that came through well in the pictures, as no one looks uncomfortable. In addition, she was open to referencing a short shot list that detailed the photos we wanted to make sure we got (family group shots, sister and brother pictures, etc.), and many photographers refuse to do that. Because of this, not only do we have a collection of timeless bride/groom pics, but a great spread of beautiful photos featuring the people we love who came to celebrate with us! We continue to receive so many compliments from our guests who've enjoyed their pictures, too. I'm very glad we chose Thrive, and definitely recommend them for weddings. (They also do videography, if you have interest in that, too. I did not use that service, however, so cannot comment on it.)
