Plus, I was a high school teacher for 6 years so If you have a huge family and a long list of family photos to get through, I am your person.

ly Tia’s creative eye and photography skills, but also how they put everyone at ease. Every time I was in front of Tia’s lens I felt relaxed, natural, and unposed, like I could move, laugh, breathe, and Tia would capture exactly what that moment held. It is truly magical. Tia is also just a wonderful human who makes the whole process of getting married easier. Every time we had a phone call with some kind of potential issue (like our ceremony being at night, a tight timeline, etc), Tia had tons of advice and pictures to show us what it might look like and completely put us at ease. They are so organized with a timeline template and questionnaires to make sure our wedding day went smoothly. I am so happy and so grateful that we chose Tia to be our wedding photographer.

rapher I stumbled upon Tia Nash when I was googling wedding photographers in the NOLA area, and I’m so glad I found them! Since me and my husband are not from LA and had an elopement wedding, the #1 thing we wanted was a photographer. Our first booking of our wedding was Tia! We were nervous as both of us aren’t comfortable in front of a camera, but Tia made everything very easy and relaxing. Upon meeting Tia from our initial consultation to our actual wedding day, they were very communicative, laid back yet still very professional, accommodating, and super fun to work with! They are so easy to talk to, I felt like I’ve known them for years. Tia was able to capture our special day around NOLA prior to us getting married, they knew all the perfect spots to shoot—from around the quarter, to our private vows in the park, everything turned out gorgeous and LOVE the candid photos! The photos are vibrant, natural, show us having fun and in love. One thing we noticed about Tia’s photos is that everyone looks natural, which was important to us since we didn’t want someone posing/staging us in each photo, but to capture the moment of us having fun and Tia delivered! We would definitely book Tia again! Once booking with Tia, you get your own client portal with some vendor guides which were TOTALLY helpful! Literally this was how we found our florist for our wedding and got great recommendations to other vendors that we booked! Once they found out who are photographer was, they could not stop praising Tia. Our original wedding plans changed due to Hurricane Ida, so if we are ever back in the area (which we will be in the upcoming future) Tia will hear from us so we can book another photoshoot with them in the national park! h our gut instinct on who to hire. Tia was amazing right from the beginning. She was so very personable, relatable, sweet, professional, honestly could go on and on! Everything you would want in the person who’s going to be photographing all the memories as they whiz by! Tia even did my boudoir photos! And those turned out INCREDIBLE. Honestly, I was really worried about being self-conscious and nervous about how hard I’d be on myself once I saw the pictures, but once they arrived … I was honestly FLOORED at how incredibly talented Tia is. Those images are some that I’m going to keep until I’m old and feel so proud that I did that! The day of the wedding, Tia arrived prepared and ready. She noticed how anxious I was feeling and assured me that it’s totally normal and that I was doing well. She made sure to keep things flowing and made me feel taken care of. She listened when I needed breaks and always checked in with me on how I was feeling and if there was anything I specifically wanted - but more importantly, once everything got going - I HARDLY (like seriously) noticed she and Ben (her 2nd shooter) were even there at all. Which was amazing! She got some serious candids and delivered sneak peaks first thing the very next morning! All my friends and family were SO impressed at how quickly we got pictures and how incredibly BEAUTIFUL they were. She was really a partner in helping plan our big day and her insight into what would work best for our season, timeline, wedding party size made all of the difference in helping make sure our big day went smoothly. edding. First of all, she's incredibly thorough and detailed when planning before the wedding. I didn't have to worry about anything with Tia because I knew she was already on it. Second of all, for the day of the wedding, we were running very behind schedule and both my wife and I were super stressed. Tia always remained calm and positive and even pulled us away from our Bridal Party to take pictures by ourselves and chill out before our ceremony (we did a first look). Throughout the wedding, Tia had all sorts of creative suggestions for pictures and would just tell us to trust her, and we did, and our pictures came out AMAZING. Third of all, Tia gave us a sneak peek literally the morning after our wedding. She was awesome to work with, and I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!

aphy just by searching through New Orleans wedding hashtags on Instagram. Her photos stood out to me consistently for their vibrant colors and for how happy and natural every couple looked. Her photos drew me in, reading glowing reviews for her work convinced me to reach out, and her fast, enthusiastic response sealed the deal. I was a little nervous about doing an elopement photo shoot (the actual wedding was going to be at city hall in our own city), but Tia instantly eased my worries about doing something a little unconventional.
During the day of the photo shoot, my husband and I had a blast walking to all our favorite spots in the French Quarter with Tia. She was able to accommodate every photo request we had in only two hours. Yet the process felt both leisurely and super fun, thanks to Tia’s great planning skills and talent for posing us.
Finally, the photos are stunning and capture the joy we felt that day and the love we share. We highly recommend Tia for your wedding, whether it be an intimate experience like ours or a grand one with a full on wedding procession.

for the wedding! But parents overrode that decision. We looked at every photographer probably in the city and just from Tia’s reviews on the knot and her website we knew we wanted her! From the moment we had our first consult on the phone we knew we’d made the right decision. She completely got our vibe right away! She had great communication prior to the wedding and sent an awesome detailed calendar before which really helped us in a lot of other wedding planning aspects. And finally, day of wedding, she was phenomenal!! The pictures are unbelievable!!!! And having those 20-30 mins after the ceremony where we just walked around city park taking photos was the highlight of our wedding. It was relaxing and a great way to catch our breath before the reception. She was like a ninja- she was there guiding us thru some beautiful shots but also gave us some really needed time to ourselves. She was able to grab photos that we will cherish forever! Anyway- if you can’t tell from this long review- TIA IS THE BEST! She was the best decision we made for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the pictures. Planning this wedding from another state was a feat all on its own. Tia’s help from our first conversation was instrumental in our destination wedding and the planning.
When our original bakery unexpectedly closed, she had a stellar suggestion that was so delicious! When I couldn’t get Second Lines to call me back, Tia helped us find the best sounding and most professional group! When I was having a hard time finding hair and makeup her suggestion was perfect!
When we made each of those phone calls they asked who recommended them, and once we said Tia Nash they all sang her praises and said how much they loved working with her.

My whole take home from a semi elopement was that we wanted a very private, intimate day with the best photos possible to remember the day by and share with friends and family afterward. The day was wonderful, but Tia’s work ethic, excitement, and interactions with us were the icing on the cake. She is extremely professional, funny, and when we met (the day of the wedding), I felt like I had known her for years due to all of our communications leading up to the wedding day. She took photos of the getting ready process, creative images of our attire and wedding day “accessories”, a first look, the ceremony, and cake cutting and more. Tia was super helpful throughout my sort-of-planning process, and completely flexible to our requirements. When we finally met (about 20 mins before our ceremony) I felt completely at ease with her and knew I had instagrammed right! We even ended up with an impromptu first look at her suggestion (made him cry, winner).

I have been in weddings in the past where the photos seemed so forced and took FOREVER and in others where the photos were so unorganized and everyone was all over the place. I was nervous that this might happen with our wedding because both myself and my husband have large families and we had a pretty big bridal party.
I could not have been more pleasantly surprised with how smooth and organized our pictures were. I honestly don’t know how she did it - Tia is so organized and made sure everything was set in place with our schedule so we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of. Every single person in our wedding was amazed at how incredible she was at being able to capture beautiful authentic pictures of our group while also making sure it is so much fun for everyone there.
She truly captured everyone’s personalities in the most authentic way and never held back from getting the “perfect shot” — even if it meant her literally laying on the ground to get the perfect angle.

Her laid-back yet professional demeanor meant she didn't push us to do cheesy poses or feel awkward during the shoot, which made for great photographs I LOVED using for our Save-The-Dates and wedding website. She even thought to ensure we had a handful of wide landscape photos to use as headers on our website - super helpful.
