Tida is truly the BEST EVER! Her work speaks for itself, but her personality and professionalism outshine everything. My (now) husband and I are the worst at taking photos (so awkward, so nervous lol), but from our first conversation, we were immediately super comfortable with her and she understood us and knew how to get us to take good photos. ISSA MIRACLE. She did our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and seriously her ability to hype you up, make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and make you laugh will give you the best, most natural looking photos. It will look like you knew what you were doing, but that's because she is an amazing photographer and really knows what she's doing. If we had to do it all over again, would 100% hire her again in a heartbeat!

Okay, I’m here to gush about Tida and talk about the dreaded ~COVID wedding~. First of all, Tida’s work obviously speaks for itself. If you’ve seen her website, you know she’s exceptional at what she does. Her work is so warm and rich and playful and cool - getting to relive our wedding day from her perspective is actually magic, it’s even more beautiful than I remember. I’ll never regret investing in her to capture such an important day. But I want to report on what you can't see from her website. Working with her was such a breeze. She was so thorough and supportive and professional leading up to our wedding. We changed our plans SO MANY TIMES because of COVID, and she was totally flexible and understanding. For every new plan she did research on locations, light, timing, etc., and when we said, “Hey… actually, new thing…” she jumped on board immediately! With so much unpredictability, it was so helpful to have her on our team as a relaxed and reliable resource. On the day of, she worked super stealthily and captured everything she could while we (Okay, I) scrambled to stay on track with our schedule for the day. She was sweet and funny and didn’t miss a single important detail. Not to mention she delivered outrageously fast! We got our wedding previews in literally 38 hours, and our full delivery in like THREE WEEKS! Obviously she doesn’t guarantee that lightning speed in the regular super busy wedding season - she’s a human being - but that was absolutely a major perk of having a tiny COVID wedding when most others had canceled theirs! Speaking of which… the COVID wedding. Are you reading this in the Coronavirus era feeling like you don’t know what to do about your wedding day, all your dreams for it have been dashed, nothing feels certain and everything sucks? I FEEL YOU. My husband and I opted to cancel our 90 person wedding and rethink everything. For us, that meant scrapping our previous plans, finding a beautiful local Airbnb, picking the select few people we could have present with us in person (we opted for 6), and inviting everyone else via Zoom. Even though we felt we were settling, making the best out of a bad situation, etc., it turned out to be so much more intimate and wonderful than we could have imagined. Our digital guests actually said it was the most heartfelt, honest, touching ceremony they had ever witnessed, and we had people crying along with us during our vows all over the country. We saved so much money, and we got to be way more emotionally present during our wedding day than we could have if we were having to manage this massive event. I could go on and on about all the benefits. Even though it’s not what we initially pictured, I’m so grateful we made the choice we did! And Tida was SUCH a grounding force in all the uncertainty. I’m so glad we get to treasure her work forever, and most importantly that our someday kids will get to see how smokin’ hot we were on our wedding day because Tida made us look absolutely gorgeous. ;)

Tida is AMAZING. Not only is her photography beautiful, but her personality is RADIANT. My fiancé and I had never done a photoshoot before and with Tida’s personality it was so easy to feel comfortable! In general Tida made the whole experience fun! So far we have only done our engagement shoot but I can’t wait to see the magic she does for our wedding! The turnaround time from our photoshoot to when we got our photos was pretty quick compared to what I’ve read about other photographers and the quality of her editing was still top notch! Amongst all of these great things, my favorite thing about Tida is her communication and support! From the beginning she has always been very prompt with her replies and answered all of our questions. More importantly, she was the ONLY vendor of mine that was being proactive about reaching out for support during the pandemic (hello, I’m a coronabride). She went above and beyond as a vendor and provided a google doc of her availability calendar in case we needed to make any quick decisions about postponing our wedding (which we did) and she sent such a thoughtful e-mail with advice about how to go about wedding planning during a pandemic. I am so so soooo grateful for Tida’s support and I highly recommend you choose her as your photographer!

Tida. Say it with me now T-Dah. She’s a sweet Californian babe who claims to be the ultimate hype girl on your wedding day. Every single bride needs one of her. I found her on google under “LA photographer”. I was not fussy! I could have stumbled across anyone great behind a camera lense. Fortunately we hit the jackpot when we found this little vibe of life living her best life in the middle of SoCal with her bengal cats like Carol Baskin. Jokes. I was instantly hooked & booked. Why? Because she was just such a beautiful person in general who really wanted to be a part of our day!!? I know what you’re thinking ... it’s supposed to work the other way around but she was instantly warm, wonderful, PASSIONATE and ready to be there for you every step of your journey. People bursting with passion for life touch my soul. I can’t describe it. Shes someone I want to stay in touch with for the rest of my days. She’s fun and did I say FUN? Shes full of life, shes vibrant AF, she’s hilarious, shes up for any adventure you want to throw her into and she’s loud. Her voice is full of pure excitement. Thrilled to be alive and THRILLED to be photographing you and the love of your life! Arnt they the BEST kind of people? YES THEY ARE. She will be shouting “DAYUM GURLLLL” in your face until the sun goes down even if the severe wind has blown your eyebrows off over 40 minutes ago. I left mine in Palm Springs somewhere. Much to my surprise she was still standing right Infront of us yelling DAYUMMMMM QUEEN 10 times a minute 😂 I’m hyped for life. Honestly the desert winds had me believing I was going to be resembling nothing short of Ace Ventura in every single photo. But Tida put all of my worries to bed when our photos were finished. She is an actual Queen behind the lense. After having my children I can barely find any photos with myself and my husband in them TOGETHER so it was super important for me, just this once that we got some beautiful shots together to cherish forever. I have nothing else to say other than our photos were perfect. Inlove with them and you could never put a price on that. Team Tida. Thanks girlfriend💘

Tida is definitely the right person if you want great photos. She is a ninja at responding back to emails, she's organized and knows exactly what to prep for before the wedding and on the day of, she is so much fun to work with and energetic, and lastly, she takes breath-taking photos that will leave you smiling after you view them all. She has a good eye at capturing all those special moments. She truly didn't miss anything. I also found her on The Knot and i would recommend her to anyone. You won't regret your decision to book her.

There aren't enough amazing things we could say about Tida including her work and her as a person. We were able to get her for our engagement session and she was so helpful throughout the entire process, giving us suggestions as to where we would take them, down to what type of outfits we could wear. She is the literal definition of hype queen. By the time you meet her in person you already feel as if you've known her longer than you have, she makes you feel comfortable to be who you are and gives you direction so you don't feel like you're posing for pictures. It's all natural and in the moment. My fiance even said, "It's the best photos we've taken forsure." The pictures turned out better than I could've ever dreamed and she even gave us sneak peeks which were already beyond amazing. We weren't able to get her for our wedding unfortunately because she was already booked so when I say reach out to her NOW, I mean it. You don't want to miss out on the opportunity of getting your most memorable moments captured by an amazing photographer but an even better person.

Tida was so bubbly and fun. I talked to other photographers and I felt like I meshed best with her. My husband and I had a very casual, nontraditional wedding and she was so supportive and never made us feel like weirdos for how we chose to do things. We both hate taking pictures and feel awkward and oh my goodness she made us feel so comfortable and look so good. We can’t stop staring at our pictures. She captured every ounce of love perfectly and it’s so special that we get to see the candid love on our faces when we’re with our loved ones. For our first look, we wanted it to be private and we appreciated it so much that she made sure that happened. Various family members tried sneaking peaks and she very nicely, but firmly made sure that everyone respected our wishes. We used her photo station as well and it’s been so fun to look at the open bar fueled pictures ;). I can’t wait to use her for future family pictures when we start having babies. We loved working with her and would 1000% recommend choosing her for your event.

I had the pleasure of working with Tida for a wedding in November '19 at the Ebell venue in Santa Ana. Our company, Petals and Greens Floral did the flowers and day of coordinating which was a big undertaking for us and Tida was not only an amazing photographer and took the most gorgeous photos but she also worked as a partner with all the vendors. It is so important that a wedding has communication and coordination with ALL the vendors to make it go smoothly and professionally which she did to the degree of one of the best photographers I've ever worked with. She was on time, communicated and followed up when she Said she would. I never had to reach out to her and follow up for the couple on their behalf. She was on top of everything including knowing where to shoot at the venue, the perfect lighting and angles, and just simply such a great person to work with. Any person wanting to hire her for photography would be lucky to have her.

Look, Tida's gorgeous photos speak for themselves. Here's the scoop on what it's like to work with her: Tida will be your biggest cheerleader. She is enthusiastic and will make even the shyest subjects feel at ease in front of the camera. But don't mistake her pep and petite stature for youthful inexperience: With Tida, you are in the hands of a seasoned professional. She's INCREDIBLY responsive and organized, patient and thorough. And her second shooter (we had the great fortune of working with Maia for our wedding) is equally talented and capable. A small anecdote: My husband and I had the hardest time securing our location for our engagement shoot. Tida went above and beyond in reaching out to the venue and calling in personal favors to secure not only our dream location (which has a lot of sentimental meaning for us), but the venue even threw in some perks on top of that! Fifty out of five stars.

Love love love Tida and her assistant was a pleasure as well. Three things you should know about this wonderful photographer. 1. She has a way of capturing your true self. I highly recommend getting the engagement / wedding package if you are like me and hate taking pictures. This also helped us grow and bond with Tida and honestly she's really easy to grow and bond with. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, we forgot it was there. 2. She has a unique style. We were looking to hire someone who wasn't going to have us stand there and look into the camera and take the "typical" wedding photo. Her pictures captured us in a way that feels natural. She also has amazing filters and knows what is going to look the best with he lighting and space. 3. You get your photos so quick. Honestly, she had given us over 100 photos within a week as a sneak peek and the rest came to us within a month. We were so shocked to see so many photos in such a short amount of time. Overall, I feel like our special day was captured at its best and to top it off, I feel like I made a new friend. I will happily ask her to capture more of our special moments in life again, hopefully sometime soon. Thanks Tida!

Tida was our elopement photographer and it was super fun to work with her. Her demeanor is so upbeat and lovely and as an introverted couple, we felt very supported and grateful to have her as our photographer/witness/cheerleader. Since she was so organized, professional and on top of everything, our wedding day was very relaxed and stress free. Throughout the whole process, communication was smooth and easy. We really appreciated her time and effort into getting to know us as a couple and in finding out what kind of shots we wanted. Her techniques and directions during the shoot helped us relax and produced amazing candid-like shots that weren’t overly posed. We absolutely adore all of our pictures. Let's start off by saying that I don't even know where to start. Tida is WONDERFUL. Every element of working with her was smooth, FUN, and overall stress-free. (Which is so important on such a hectic day!) She has this unique ability to capture your personality, the small details, and the moments that truly show how you were feeling... While ALSO framing the surroundings in a beautiful way. Tida reached out several times before the day to make sure we were comfortable with her (which, lets be honest, was easy as cake because she is the kindest, most upbeat person I've met.) We had a blast taking the photos and I think it shows in every picture. I would hire her again in a second! 💛

Tida was the best decision I ever made. Her photos genuinely capture the moment and her editing is flawless. I have so many good things to say, but to summarize in three points: 1) Tida prioritizes YOU. For example, during family photos, a group of spectators wandered into the background. She promptly (and politely!) asked them to move out of the shot. She makes sure she captures every shot perfectly. 2) She is a HOOT! Her energy and humor make every interaction fun and enjoyable. If you're awkward taking pictures (like I am), she makes it painless and, dare I say, fun...?!! 3) She DELIVERS. If she tells you she'll follow up by X day or that she'll send something through before Y time, she delivers. She never misses a deadline, meeting, friendly reminder, or a step! On your biggest day, is anything more necessary? Book her. Literally, right now.

Choosing Tida as our wedding photographer in September of 2019 was the BEST decision! My first phone call with her sealed the deal. She was insanely friendly and upbeat and had the perfect combination of assertiveness and warmth and personality. She makes sure that she knows what moments and details are most important to you and makes sure to add focus to that. My now husband and I needed a photographer who was able to call the shots and take control of a situation but blend in with our friends and family and make everyone feel comfortable and keep everyone laughing! Which she did! Our wedding party was cracking up at her funny comments and silly demeanor - which definitely made shooting in 100 degree weather much more bearable. She is so fun and is definitely there to hype you up to get the best shot! We have so many amazing photos that we quite literally cannot choose which ones we want to print. She is so organized and on top of it that I did not have to hunt her down for a single thing. She was THERE and we were beyond impressed - and so were our friends and family. I am SO HAPPY that I found Tida for my wedding. From the moment I first got in touch with her, I felt completely comfortable. She is a true professional-her services are clear, fairly priced, she's extremely organized, and she responds promptly to all communication-but she is also hilarious! She put me and my husband at ease during our engagement shoot which made us even more excited for the wedding day. I ended up adding her makeup services for me and my mom on my wedding day and I can't speak highly enough about that experience. I had gotten my makeup done a couple times before and was really unhappy about how it turned out. Tida took her time during the trial to make sure that I was happy with how everything looked. The airbrush makeup she put on was amazing! Tida is the absolute best and I will recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer/makeup artist!!

We just loved the photographs that Tida took at our wedding. She really captured the spirit of the day. We really wanted to go for a candid vibe, and she really outdid herself. So many beautiful pics! She covered so many things that it seemed like there were three photographers photographing the wedding instead of one. The price was right too, and we didn't have to wait very long to get all our photos. If you're looking for someone who's low key and won't get in the way of your big day, but will capture every great memory, definitely hire Tida.

We worked with Tida in August 2019 for our engagement shoot in Palm Springs. First off, let me start by saying it was 116 degrees and Tida didn't complain once and made us look great despite the crazy heat! If you're looking for an amazing photographer, look no further than Tida Svy. SERIOUSLY. Our engagement photos turned out amazing, and we get compliments all the time! Not only is Tida incredibly talented, from the onset we could tell just how hardworking, professional and thoughtful she is! Also, she was so communicative from beginning to end. She's also super friendly and fun to be around, which made us feel way more comfortable in front of the camera. Tida also takes the time to get to know you as a couple and understand your vision and concerns. Knowing that we were in good hands with Tida really helped my fiance and I relax and enjoy the process a lot more. Now I just wish she had been available for our wedding, but she was already booked! If you are thinking about working with her, don't hesitate - she gets booked up quick!

Tida is sooo amazing! She is talented and super easy to work with! As a wedding coordinator I always hope to work with kind, easy-going, reliable, timely, and team oriented photographers, and Tida was ALL OF THE ABOVE! My husband and I had Tida Svy take our engagement photos and the photos for our July wedding. We are overwhelmingly grateful and honored that she was our photographer for wedding celebration. Within minutes of speaking to Tida during our first consultation, I knew that we found the right photographer for our wedding. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple and what we wanted in our wedding photos. She also is very kind and easy to talk to. She really understands the nuances of wedding photography and just by talking to her, you can really tell she enjoys what she does. Once we booked Tida, she kept a very open line of communication and made sure to address any ideas and questions about everything. Our engagement shoot was insanely fun. My fiance and I were quite nervous and weren’t sure how to pose or what to do in front of a camera. But we become more at ease with Tida and she always kept the laughs coming! Our photos looked so natural and not awkward at all which is all due to Tida’s direction and talent. In the span of a couple hours, she took hundreds of photos and they all turned out beautiful! The weeks leading up to the wedding, Tida continued to check in with us and just cheered us on. Something I really appreciated and want to emphasize about Tida is her attention to detail and how through this whole process she made sure to really listen to us. A month before the wedding, Tida had me and my significant other fill out a wedding questionnaire to make sure we got what we wanted out of our wedding photos. Then a couple days before the wedding, we went over the questionnaire, the itinerary of the wedding day, and basically a master plan for what photos to take. She truly unpacked every detail and I cannot say enough about how helpful she was through this planning process. She always gave her professional input to ensure that our ideas and what we wanted were executed in the best possible way. We felt so taken care of and we knew that we were going to have the best photos from our special day. On our wedding day, Tida was by our side the entire day. She went above and beyond as not just a photographer but also an ally. I don’t know how she did it, but she was everywhere and beside us all at once. Then within a few days after our wedding, Tida already had a small preview of photos to give us. Then within a few days after our preview, she sent us all the photos from the wedding. My jaw dropped with the unbelievable amount of AMAZING photos she took. She captured every single moment from the processional to the speeches, the dances, every single thing. She also captured some really awesome candids of all our guests. Tida has a way of taking even the most insignificant moments and making them significant through her camera lens. The couple portraits she took are beautiful and editorial yet it still showcases our personalities. She also took the traditional posed family and bridal party portraits. Another thing I appreciate about Tida’s photography is how she edits photos. They are enhanced but in a perfectly natural way that makes our photographs look timeless. Tida is wonderful to work with and incredibly talented. She was one of the best if not the best decision we made for our wedding. Since the day was such a blur, all we have to remember it is our photos and goodness they are the most fantastic photos of our day. She doesn’t just give photos, she gives memories captured in the most beautiful way.

There are really no words to describe how incredible Tida is, both as a photographer and as a person. She is passionate about what she does and truly loves love. Oh, and she’s also an amazing photographer! I knew immediately Tida was who I wanted to photograph my wedding because within 5 minutes of messaging her, I received a response. I could tell by just the first few emails back and forth that she genuinely cares about the people she photographs. She is professional, personable, and ridiculously talented. I had never had professional photos taken before, let alone for a couples shoot, so I was slightly nervous and had no idea what to expect. Tida made Rich and I feel comfortable by explaining everything we were going to do before we got started. I warned her that we weren't very affectionate (especially in public) but she did a great job of giving us direction and cracking jokes so we didn't feel awkward. She had all the movements and activities planned out so she was able to capture endearing moments of us having fun rather than trying to pose and look romantic. From her urging us to kiss to having us run around and be ourselves, the photo shoot was a blast and I still can't believe how great the pictures turned out. She has amazing talent and I would recommend Tida to anyone who wants to capture special moments in their lives.

Tida Svy is an absolute GEM!! I have worked with many photographers in my life but Tida is the best. She was so sweet and fun to work with, and I felt so comfortable posing for her even though we had only just met that day. She clearly knows what she is doing because she was constantly capturing different angles and making sure I looked my best in the photos. She had never been to the shoot location before, but she was able to take one look at the area and think of the best places for me to pose. She let me do all kinds of poses and ideas that I had, and she also gave her own fun ideas as well for how to pose. She just sent me the photos this morning and they are GORGEOUS. I was blown away by how many fantastic shots she got; it's going to be so hard to choose my favorites! Her edits are so natural but make the photos look warm and bright without looking overdone. I cannot recommend Tida enough and will definitely hire her again the next time I need a photographer!

Stop looking at other photographers and HIRE TIDA RIGHT NOW!!! Hiring Tida for my wedding was the best decision I made (aside from marrying my husband of course!) She did my makeup and photography. I was initially nervous about makeup because I do not wear a lot of makeup day to day. She quickly put me at ease and made me look FLAWLESS, but still exactly like me! I felt and looked like I wasn't wearing any makeup, when in fact she make me look like a better version of myself. I felt beautiful and it held up all day. As for the photography - WOW. My husband and I couldn't have been more impressed. She is incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and truly cares about your wedding. It is very clear that Tida is passionate about her craft and really wants you to have lasting memories of your wedding day! On our wedding day, Tida showed up early, provided great location suggestions, and even managed to wrangle our huge family with ease. When it came to our bride and groom photos, she was comfortable and funny. We were so nervous, but she quickly put us as ease and took beautiful photos of us that really reflect us as a couple! I am beyond thrilled to have these photos that will last a lifetime. I wouldn't change a single thing about our decision. Tida is the best of the best!

Tida is amazing in both makeup and photography! She made me go from gremlin to gorgeous! All of my bridesmaids, although natural beauties, were RADIATING at my wedding. The best part about hiring her to do both jobs was that she was able to capture the beauty she had created! Not to mention, she is downright creative and understands your needs, and thoroughly enjoys what she does. We are SO pleased with how everything turned out and the memories she captured will last a life time!

We loved Tida! From the makeup to the amazing collection of photos we received she was nothing short of incredible. Tida shot our engagement and our Palm Springs wedding at Korakia Pensione! I absolutely adore her! My husband and I were somewhat nervous about the process and worried that it would be awkward...it proved to be anything but. Tida put us both at ease and had us laughing and relaxed out of the gate. So many people commented on how genuinely happy we looked in our photos and honestly it had a lot to do with Tida making us laugh with each other. One of her little jokes even popped up during our ceremony when one of us was starting to get a little emotional. The photos turned out beautifully, her aesthetic is very natural, never staged, and I really appreciate how much care she put into all the editing. Everyone comments on how great our photos are. Her engagement + wedding package is a steal IMO given all that she puts into the process. She really loves what she does. I’d hire her again in a heartbeat!

We are so thrilled with our wedding photos from Tida! Her photos are a lovely combination of classic and creative. She captured all of the emotions from the day. She is both professional and fun which allows her clients to get comfortable in the experience. She was able to capture both traditional family photos, lovely portraits, and creative bridal party photos and even went exploring on the day of the wedding to find the perfect Boston neighborhood as a backdrop. Her work exceeded our expectations!

Tida has been our family photographer for the last three years. She took our wedding photos, my mom's wedding photos, and all of our holiday pics. I'm blown away every time I get the pictures back. I look forward to holiday photo time every year! Her pictures are amazing just like she is. She has a great eye and talent for making you look like your best self. She also takes the time to find out what your vision is and make it a reality. She's not afraid to go off the beaten path for that perfect pic or capture everyday moments. We've gone on adventures at Snoqualmie pass, wandered through Pike Place Market, shaken leaves from a tree for the perfect wedding shot, and she's captured us just at home. All of her photos are high quality. I wouldn't trust anyone else to take our family pics. She's simply the best.

Tida has an incredible talent for capturing moments filled with emotion! She is so passionate about photography and you can see it in every photo she takes. She encourages authenticity and wants nothing more than to let a couple’s personality shine. We were nervous at first around a camera, but Tida put us right at ease. She makes it such a fun experience and gets beautiful photos in the process. Tida took our photos when we first started dating (documenting the nervous excitement of young love!) and every Christmas for the past three years. When it came to our wedding, I wouldn’t have trusted anyone but Tida to capture those moments. The day went by so quickly, I legit sobbed seeing the photos for the first time because the memories came rushing back. I’ll forever treasure the moments she captured of us and our loved ones – you can feel the love and laughter in every photo. Not only is she a talented photographer, Tida is a skilled makeup artist! She made me feel so beautiful and confident on my wedding day. She knows how to enhance a person’s unique features and natural beauty. Tida is simply the best!

I can’t say enough how happy we are that we chose Tida to be our photographer for our wedding day. She was very professional, and her fun, relaxed personality helped us get the most beautiful, genuine photographs of our special day. She used her professional judgement to guide us through the session, but she was also open and receptive to our ideas. At the most intimate moments, she was discreetly at work. It felt very natural with her there, and we appreciated her direction throughout the night. The photos turned out gorgeous, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality.

From the moment we met Tida, we felt her energy was going to be a great compliment to our Wedding day. She was very easy to work with and really went above and beyond for us on several occasions. We battled crazy PNW weather and her flexibility allowed us to get fall engagement photos we were thrilled with. She crossed mountain passes during the snow storm of the year and arrived a day early to ensure she wouldn't miss a moment on our Wedding day. The result...gorgeous wedding photos we got thanks to her handy work and a foot of fresh snow!! Since then she's taken the time to do holiday mini-sessions with us that included our fabulous new fur-baby for our family Christmas cards. She stopped at nothing to get his attension!
