Tide and True Photography

I went into wedding planning knowing that, aside from my venue, my photographer was going to be the most important vendor decision for me. The way I see it, after the day is done and the bouquets have wilted, the only thing I have left to remember the magic of the day is photos. I wanted them to be great and I wanted a photographer who would add to the day instead of just photograph it. Tim did that. I looked through maybe 30 different photographers' galleries and met with maybe 10 before finding Tim and knew from our first conversation that I'd found our photographer. And I am so very pleased that Tim was part of our day. Every step of the way, Tim was wonderful to work with. He answered every question I had and shared ideas leading up to the day. He was super pleasant, knowledgeable, and obviously devoted to his craft. He was communicative and helpful in thinking about parts of the day that I initially hadn't even considered.  On the actual wedding day, Tim was legitimately a huge part of keeping things on track and fun. Multiple people in our wedding party stopped me throughout the day to tell me how awesome and efficient he was and he honestly kept me laughing through most of the early part of the day. I can honestly say I wasn't too stressed that morning and Tim helped create that atmosphere for me and my bridal party. Even my matron of honor, who is also a wedding photographer herself, applauded my decision in working with Tim and spoke about how quick, calm, helpful and thoughtful he was. And my sister thinks he's basically magic because he pulled a makeup light out of nowhere when she wanted to check the makeup she'd done for me and handed another girl tiny scissors when she needed to trim hanger straps off her dress.  The sneak peeks I've gotten from our gallery have me so excited to see everything Tim captured and I know I'm going to be looking back on his photos for years to come. They'll help me relive one of the happiest days of my life and I'm so grateful for that. Were I planning this wedding again, I'd hire Tim again in a heartbeat. For the photos and for the unique energy he brought for the day, he was perfect for us!

Tim and his team were incredible, going above and beyond to create the most special memories of our wedding day. From the start, Tim worked closely with us, making sure he knew exactly what we wanted. He really took the time to understand which moments were most important to us. What really stood out was how creative and accommodating Tim was. He helped us stay within our budget while still providing both videography and photography, which was fantastic. Handling our wedding party of over 20 people was no small feat, but Tim managed it with patience and organization, ensuring everyone was where they needed to be. Tim's creativity was evident in every shot. We didn't have many specific ideas, but he guided us and came up with unique and beautiful photos that we absolutely love. His talent for capturing candid moments and genuine emotions made our wedding photos truly special. We couldn't be happier with the amazing work Tim did. If you’re looking for a photographer who is professional, talented, and a pleasure to work with, Tim is your guy!

Pros: Tim is VERY personable, great social skills, super energetic and enthusiastic. Makes everyone feel comfortable and flawless!! I liked his style and adore some absolutely beautiful photos that we will cherish forever. Thank you for surviving the heat with us! He even made me feel beautiful and comfortable doing a little “sexy” shoot the morning of. All my guests gave great feedback about his great personality and discrete demeanor. Cons: I highly recommend having Tim utilize a second photographer. I asked if this was an option but with my guest count being about 100, Tim felt he was capable of capturing it all himself. Although we have some great photos, I was expecting more. (Example:All my photos with my bridesmaids are the same poses). We were so sweaty in the middle of July And I do give props to Tim for running around in the scorching heat but it was too big of a job for one person. So if you do higher Tim, ensure he has some help. So you can get all the photos you ever imagined. In regards to videoing I would seek elsewhere and not include this in your photo package. My husband was mic’ up for all of the ceremony and none of the audio was in the reel. He utilized a drone which sounded so neat but was not impressive. I would utilize an experienced videographer. Tim has potential to improve tremendously he just needs to not try and do it all himself!!

I have had two absolutely wonderful experiences working with Tim, both as a bridesmaid and now a bride! He was so unbelievably professional and easy to be comfortable around! He helped me out in such short notice as I had a previous panicking experience with another photographer and I couldn’t be more grateful. Turn around time was UNREAL and the photos were absolutely perfect. 10/10 recommend!!
