I think the day of coordinator is a difficult role to envision as a couple navigating the planning of a major event for the first time, but her involvement really does keep the wedding day and planning process running smoothly. She helps liaise with the venue throughout planning, keeps other vendors organized, and directs setup and tear down on the day of (among many other things). It was a huge relief to know that any task we gave her would get done and be done well.

There are so many small details only a professional would think about and she made sure nothing was missed. Our ceremony and our reception were about 25 minutes away from each other and Tiffany handled all correspondence with transportation and made sure everyone was where they needed to be at the right times. f their expertise. From our first planning call, Tiffany impressed us with her organization and attention to detail. She provided us with a comprehensive set of planning documents, checklists, vendor worksheets, timeline templates that kept us on track.
Tiffany was also always quick to respond, which we really appreciated. Any time we had a question, she replied in a timely and thoughtful manner. She worked with us to create a detailed timeline of events, which she shared with all of our vendors so everyone knew exactly where and when to be so we didn’t have to worry about it. Plus she was more than happy to share vendor recommendations if needed (she recommended we donate our flowers to Scents with Love, which was a nice touch!) On the day itself, Tiffany (and her wonderful assistant Brittney) were awesome. They expertly kept everyone on schedule, from the ceremony cues, cocktail hour transitions, dinner service, etc. Everything went so smoothly! We especially appreciated Brittney’s thoughtfulness at the end of the night, when we realized we forgot to donate our sweetheart table floral arrangement (it was a last minute add) and were distraught about throwing it away. Brittney graciously offered to take it to her grandfather’s retirement facility, which was such a nice gesture that we truly appreciated.
We definitely recommend Tiffany and Design for day-of coordination needs, especially for those getting married at the Aviary; it was very clear that she was an expert with this venue, which is needed since it has such a short timeframe for setup. I had multiple calls, Zoom meetings, emails & text exchanges with both Tiffany & Michaella leading up to the big day. They were so quick with responses, always happy to help & most importantly, are extremely kind & personable. They shared the same excitement as my husband & I did about our wedding day. Michaella handled EVERYTHING for us! She set up & tore down all decor, set up & gathered our florals (we rented them, so she made sure to collect everything at the end of the night for us), handled all vendor communication & tips, kept our polaroid cameras loaded with film for guests, organized guests & our wedding party, kept our timeline flowing smoothly, etc. On top of this, her & others from the Tiffany & Design team set up our entire cookie table, kept it replenished & packed it up at the end of the night. She truly went above & beyond. She checked on us multiple times throughout the night, had drinks ready for us as soon as we arrived after pictures & continued to make sure we always had a drink or food. She was beyond patient - attending what felt like countless vender interviews with us til we found the perfect fit for each category. Then she handled all vendor communications making it super easy for us. She is so personally attached to her clients and events - after dozens of in person meetings and endless text message threads and phone calls, now that the Big Day has come and gone it truly feels like we have gained a new lifelong friend.
Going as far as taking time away from her family traveling to Vegas with My Bride and her rowdy bridesmaids to act as their event planner and mother hen / it was a first time Vegas trip for most of the girls and all of them said it will be impossible to top should they ever go back.
Our Big Day was 2 weeks ago and we are still receiving feedback abt it being the best wedding guests have ever attended - every small detail was covered and we owe it all to Tiffany Hilgar.

On the day of the wedding, her and her team not only made sure our space looked beautiful and was set exactly how we wanted it, but she also kept everything running on time. At the end of the night, her team helped pack up all of our decor neatly so it was ready for us to pack right into our cars the next morning. She made sure the day flowed smoothly and on schedule, so that my fiance and I could truly enjoy our wedding!

Being from out of town (wedding was in Pittsburgh and we live in Maryland) it was amazing to have a planner who could recommend local vendors, take care of all the table decorations (including ordering them), genuinely knew everyone in the wedding circuit, gave us examples of wedding programs, FAQs, and set up our timeline, contacts, etc. I am very confident that our wedding wouldn't have been as relaxing as it was had we not included Tiffany and her team. We'd dropped off items in the hotel and her team got all the tables set up, took everything down, and made it easy for us to get the boxed items to our car.
Everything looked amazing and she got along with all of our vendors, and integrated our inspiration into building our big day. I'd consider the work of Tiffany and team to be the most valuable investment for our wedding and we're extremely grateful to have had her!

In particular, I was really nervous about the timeline because I was getting married at a church at a 1:00 ceremony and having the reception at a separate venue. Tiffany designed planning documents and checklists that I was able to complete with her to ease any of my worries related to logistics, ensure I wasn’t forgetting any small details, and helped me feel so much more organized and confident going into the wedding weekend. She also went out of her way to do a venue walkthrough ahead of time and get on countless calls with me to really understand what mattered most to me and what my vision for the day was.
