Tiffany Photography

I would not recommend Tiffany; not only were the photos a huge disappointment, the way she handled the entire situation is the most unprofessional and awful experience I've ever had with a photographer. When we got our sneak peeks I was elated and excited to see more. As I looked through the gallery my heart sank. The lack of overall photos, a vast majority being blurry/out of focus, weirdly cropped, shot crooked, the assistant photographer in the background and technical issues like graininess and off white balance. Frankly, the images taken at night are low quality and look like they were taken on an iPhone. When you look at the photos they give off the sense of, "I don't want to be at this stupid wedding, let's get this over with." Not only did she send the second photographer home without asking or telling anyone (we paid for 2 photographers unlimited hours) - she also approached me and asked if she could leave because, "it seems like everything is dying here," while there were still people on the dance floor. Multiple guests approached me and pointed out Tiffany, standing with her camera in hand talking to a guest or just staring off not taking photos. So many of the photos included of myself are downright embarrassing and do not meet her own standards she so proudly claims on all her social media, "I will capture the details of your beauty you never knew existed. That is my guarantee." Our first dance pictures were the most egregious. Devastated doesn't even begin to cover how I feel about the photos still having looked through them many times. I texted her to ask about the problems I was seeing. She said that due to, "ever changing light conditions and only having 9 minutes," she wasn't able to get any guest photos. I let her know candidly what I wasn't happy with and my confusion about the photos. I requested we meet in person to get the gallery to a place where we were both happy with it, a reasonable request seeing as we paid for an in person presentation of our images and did not get that. Tiffany shut down. It took me calling and texting before she responded that she would not meet with me ever and if I wanted to communicate it needed to be via email. I did that and apologized if my message had come off in a way that I hadn't intended and that my main concern was getting the images. Her response email was one of the most unnecessarily cruel things I've ever read. She proceeded to rip me apart personally and used those reasons as to why she wouldn't do any further edits or swaps of blurry photos - even though she was more than willing to do those things until I let her know I wasn't satisfied with the gallery as a whole. Unfortunately, her return reaction and cutting words will now be a backdrop to the few photos we have. Tiffany doesn't do well as an event shooter. There is a lack of storytelling and vision in the images we got back. She struggles to provide posing help and will not speak up when lighting conditions aren't ideal for a photo. She makes irrelevant excuses (that a photographer of 9 years knows aren't valid) that only serve to escape personal responsibility. If Tiffany had taken the time to understand what I said or be willing to help I might still have recommended her. Instead Tiffany showed me her true colors and character, something I wish I would have seen sooner and avoided working with her entirely and I hope I can help whoever reads this avoid the same disappointment I feel.
