About this vendor
I create images inspired by the photographers who came before me. I consider my work an ode to the photojournalist, editorial, fashion, commercial, and especially the street photographer who simply shoots out of authentic curiosity.
I am not a light and airy brand and I am not a dark and moody brand. I don’t edit my work to fit Martha Stewart's latest color scheme and I don’t shoot through prisms to try to be cool.
I love visual storytelling. I am authentically curious and I love to create images that blow your mind, whether it be visually quiet or loud.
I want to create a visual record of your wedding day that will be viewed as both documentary and artistically. -Tim F.

Tim Fitch was our wedding photographer in July of 2022 and he was absolutely phenomenal. We are certain to treasure his photos for many years to come, as these photos have perfectl...
y captured the magic and energy of that day. So many of the shots were perfectly timed and perfectly framed, capturing blissful moments from the ceremony and reception involving our family and friends: moments that we never would have been aware existed had we not hired Tim. We have received so many compliments from the guests we have shown the photos to, and they also commented on his good-natured approach and high degree of professionalism. The family and wedding party portrait sessions went seamlessly and Tim was very accommodating and gracious with any requests. The second photographer that Tim brought with him—Ruthy—was also fantastic, an excellent photographer with a creative eye, very personable and friendly, and exceptionally accommodating. These two went above and beyond!
We’re late in writing out review but Tim Fitch and his partner photographed our wedding at a The Fields Reserve in Stoughton, WI 7/24/21. The photos turned out so beautiful and he ...
really did well in capturing the real authentic moments that we will cherish forever. He had a very calm demeanor and was very accommodating. We were very happy with Tim and would definitely recommend him!
Tim Fitch had a camera issue and did not capture any of the photos of our church ceremony or our family photos after. We also had a videographer and Tim Fitch stood in the way of ...
many of the videos in the church, obscuring my bride as she walked down the aisle with her father. He also obscured us walking down the aisle after we were married. He took no bridal portraits of the bride and very few pictures of the bride and groom together. He made the aftermath of our wedding very traumatic with his mistakes and we do not recommend ANYONE use him as a photographer for their wedding. It is painful to see wedding pictures of friends getting married, because he did not capture even one shot of our family after we spent significant time posing for them on our wedding day and we told family not to take their own pictures because we thought we had hired a professional who would do the job we hired him to do. Our contract included a second photographer to be onsite day of and there was none. Our experience with Tim Fitch was devastating.

ented about how involved and how helpful he was during the ceremony and party. After our engagement session, we were so impressed with him and enjoyed working with him so much that we were excited to see him on our wedding day. We would recommend him to anyone.

Tim Fitch did an amazing job shooting our wedding and we could not have been more pleased of the beautiful moments he captured on film for our wedding in Lake Geneva, WI. Tim was ...
an absolute pleasure to work with. He came down to Chicago to shoot an engagement session, and spent several extra hours as we ran around town taking beautiful pictures using the late afternoon sun as well as night time photos with the city lights. Tim was very easy to work with and he has a laid back demeanor which made posing for pictures both fun and enjoyable. For the wedding day, he did an extraordinaire job capturing the intimate moments of the day as well as wonderfully documenting the grandeur moments. Tim's pricing is also very competitive. On a side note, w ordered several prints after the wedding and his studio did a fantastic job with the prints. We highly recommend Tim Fitch for your wedding and event.

d Carmelle captured great moments, awesome posed pictures, and truly highlighted our day. He worked with us well before our wedding and after, and he really knows how to relax a couple, pose families well, and highlight the moments that may go unseen. I see a life long friendship, and he will continue to do our photo's in our future!
Beautiful pictures, professional attitude, and received all photos within a week of the wedding! I would re-hire Tim in a second!

mprise the wedding experience. He produces a product which is truly unique to each couple, making his clients feel as though they are his most important clients. Tim was such an integral part in guiding us through the day, with his years of experience he is able to cue people when they weren't quite sure what they are supposed to be doing in the moment. Tim has such an artistic eye for detail that he even helped the hair stylist in putting my hairpiece in so it looked just right. He adapted fluidly to the nuances and dispositions of our wedding party and they were all so complimentary of his working style and finished product. Tim was able to capture moments that a traditional portrait photographer might not be able to catch, while also posing the traditional portrait photographs for one's wall or on the family piano. We have a beautiful array of photographs to choose from, several of which will look great translated to large stretched canvas or giclee prints. I can highly recommend Tim for any form of wedding, traditional to eclectic.

ils and even asked to meet us before the wedding to talk over the goals for the big day and get to know one another. On the wedding day he worked from 10am-11:30pm and got great shots of the whole day. Also, he gives you a thumb drive with all your photos on it so you have full rights to the photos and can print them and share them as you wish without additional charges. We really liked working with Tim and really love the photos he captured.
We just got our proofs from our wedding day (less than 2 weeks later, no less) and could not be happier with how they turned out. Some of my favorites are ones that I didn't even k...

t easy to pose for pictures but Tim took the time to get to know us and our style and made it such a wonderful experience. My husband and I both had many friends at our wedding who where engaged and most were so impressed with Tim that they booked him for their day as well. Not a single person I know has been disappointed with Tim's work. I recomend Tim's work to everyone I can!
