totally understood what we wanted and not only played the songs we requested, but brought great additions to the table that totally fit the bill. He kept everyone dancing all night and sensed what the crowd needed to keep them going. He also handled all of our AV (which was somewhat complicated) with absolutely no issues. Hands down recommend Tim!

f you want a lively dance party, Tim is who you want. And to be honest, he's so talented, I bet he could pull off other types of parties too with perfect execution. We saw him DJ a friend's wedding before we hired him. (It was such a blast - we were ready to hire him that day.)
Not only is Tim a talented DJ, he's also so great to work with. He's got a ton of experience and knows what he's doing. I felt so confident leaving decisions to him. He thinks of everything so you don't have to. His prices are reasonable and he can supply all equipment if your venue doesn't have any (for an added fee).

Tim was particularly helpful to us with how he aided in scheduling our celebration, from the ceremony to the cocktail hour, and through the reception. There are so many little details that can be easy to forget, but he walked us through everything we needed, and was patient when we were confused or unsure.
In terms of the music, he gave us exactly what we were hoping for. We created a Spotify playlist with a few hours of our favorite music, as well as a list of "must plays"/"do not plays," and he used those to create the music for the evening. We told him we wanted to dance, and he delivered.
Not really sure what else I can say about DJ Tim Martell. Ours was a 160 person wedding in Brooklyn NY, and he was our best vendor. Hire him, you won't regret it.

or break the night. One major thing to look for in a good DJ is their transitions. Tim's transitions are TOP- TIER, A++. The flow, order, and timing of the songs were so good!
Our crowd was constantly on the dance floor! and raving throughout the night and afterward about how good the DJ was, and how good his transitions were. As the bride, being pulled in lots of directions, all I wanted to do was be on the dance floor. I had fear of missing out when I wasn't on the dance floor.
Tim came highly recommended by our wedding planner!
His responsiveness is amazing and turn around time from giving a playlist/type of music you want to the event day was quick.
He was able to fit in the songs that my guests requested prior and hit the nail on the head by matching the vibes and it really got them on the dance floor.
But just to note, he also gave us this advice: dancing from guests is best paired with the wedding couple that is also on the dance floor.
Not only is Tim a great DJ, he is also a great MC!
Introductions for our bridal party, us, for speeches and pronunciations were seamless. I gave him time stamps of when certain songs needed to end and our first dance song clip and it all went smoothly. No lie, there are some cheesy DJs out there, and Tim is not one of them.
