uine moments and all the little details that make the day special.
A huge bonus was receiving sneak peek photos just a few days after our wedding, we were so excited to relive everything so quickly, and the photos were absolutely beautiful. We’re incredibly grateful for Tim’s talent and dedication, and we highly recommend Tim Otto Photography to anyone looking for a photographer who truly goes above and beyond.
Tim was the best way to go for our wedding photos! We are so beyond happy with our final pictures, and working with Tim was easy and comfortable. He went above and beyond to tell o...

Tim Otto is simply amazing! We used him after 2 sets of our friends used him for their weddings and loved him. Tim shot our wedding (which included a couple of locations), and he...
was truly incredible. His photographs are wonderful; his coloring is great; he doesn't upcharge; and he's honestly just so fun to be around--we never thought that a photographer could make a wedding better and more fun. But Tim did it--his relaxed and fun vibes really added something to the mix, eased any pressure, and just made things more enjoyable. This is a really awesome thing, because I've been in weddings where the photography definitely feels like a chore. We couldn't be happier having worked with Tim, and we wholeheartedly recommend him to our friends (and you)!
I can’t enough great things about Tim. I actually found him from The Crossings instagram because I was seeing wedding pictures that I LOVED! We met him officially at the vendor sho...
w the Crossings had and reviewing most of his work and chatting more he fit our needs. I noticed he had a great artistic eye when it comes to lighting and colors which is something I really look for in photography. I love seeing the deep details in art pieces and he had this exact style I wanted. We booked his package that included engagement photos and wedding day photography. So many of our guests loved how our pictures turned out! Of course we loved them too!!! Sunset pictures at the beach was beautiful! He made us feel compfortable from the beginning as me and my husband are not usually the professional picture type. He is also extremely quick as he knows exactly what he is looking for when it comes to your pictures. Please visit his instagram to see his work! The wedding day images were over the top amazing and captured everything we wanted. He was so patient and kind with our needs and constantly communicated with us throughout the planning process. He also referred us to using the videographer that works closely with him so we are excited to see how that turns out! I also want to mention Tim’s turn around time is QUICK! He sent us sneak peaks in a matter of days and then worked on our wedding photos quickly. I believe he turned around our completed photos within about 3 weeks. I have really heard some scary experiences out there, but Tim is professional in every way! He has such great and talented artist who produces outstanding work and is a fun person to work with.
Tim is the man! He knows his stuff and his work is AMAZING! We did a save the date with him and that really helped us know his style and become more comfortable in front of the cam...

e. Photo turnaround was insane -- under 2 weeks we had our completed photos. Great mix of classy church photos and fun dance floor / partying photos. We were very happy with everything and would highly recommend him.
If I could give Tim more than 5 stars I would! Tim is such a pleasure to work with. He is kind, empathetic, and easy going. I first met Tim in 2020 at a Wedding Convention in San D...
iego. I was lucky and won his raffle for our engagement shoot! After spending the afternoon with him in Balboa Park my husband and I knew that Tim was the right photographer for us. We didn't even hesitate to book him. Our wedding was originally scheduled for April 2020 and ultimately had to be postponed for 2 years due to COVID. We changed our date 4 times until ultimately we landed on April 2022. Throughout the entire process, Tim was so kind and understanding.
For our actual wedding day, he made the process of taking pictures so enjoyable and fun for us and our wedding party. My husband is not a fan of taking pictures and I felt that Tim and Patricia did such a great job keeping him comfortable throughout the process.
His sneak peak photos were absolutely stunning and I can't wait to see the rest of the photos in a few weeks. If you have not yet hired a wedding photographer please reach out to Tim. He is an exceptional photographer and person. We loved him so much that we plan to do all of our future photo opportunities with him!
Tim is absolutely amazing! He shot our wedding in October & we had the photos less than a month later & they are amazing! During the day my husband and I knew we were going to have...

that Tim always keeps the energy up when he is behind the camera. He is willing to go anywhere and get dirty for the perfect shot and can always find the best lighting.
Tim did a great job during our engagement photo session and the photos we got were amazing!! He was willing to lay down in the sand to get the best shot and he was so enthusiastic with every shot he took!
On our wedding day Tim came ready to go! He worked really well with our videographer and was comfortable taking control with our first look and family photos. We got our sneak peek photos a couple days after the wedding and they are AMAZING! We can’t wait to get the rest of them back and relive our special day!
Tim is phenomenal and I would highly recommend! We used Tim for both our engagement and wedding photos and he did not disappoint. Tim has a way about him of making you feel comfort...
able and at ease when taking photos. He knows the venues very well and is extremely creative in finding different shots and locations. We loved that we were able to see all the engagement and wedding photos he took so we could pick and choose our favorites. (Very hard to choose since there were so many great ones!) We have shared some of our “sneak peek” photos with some friends and family. They loved the pictures and we received many wonderful and positive compliments on them!

l who was familiar with the park. After reviewing his portfolio and realizing a friend used him and their photos were great, we set up a meeting with Tim at his office/studio. Not only was Tim easy and fun to be around, the photos are AMAZING! We just got them and cannot get over how incredible they are. Everyone we have shared them with is impressed as well. Tim makes being the subject of a photo more enjoyable than I have ever experienced. He helped my husband and I stay calm, enjoy ourselves, and captured the best photos I’ve seen of either of us. I couldn’t be happier with the photos we got – the pictures of us, our families, the celebration and the details are all superb!

t works great for any budget. He is so enthusiastic which is very infectious. I never felt pressured in taking photos and he makes you feel very comfortable so in turn the photos turn out great. Not once did I feel awkward with taking photos. He actually encouraged me to pose while I was feeling quirky. He also had a lot of great action shots during the ceremony and reception. I highly recommend Tim as your wedding photographer. You will be happy with the results!

mfortable, and he made us feel very comfortable and allowed us to be ourselves in front of the camera and made it so FUN! Tim was very familiar with our wedding venue (Estancia La Jolla), and picked some great spots at the property and is very creative in his photo shots. He had great suggestions for photo ideas, and we just knew we could trust him for every step of the way, including providing suggestions for our timeline so that all the photos would run smoothly! We worked with Tim and his two assistant photographers because we had a large wedding, and his assistants were also such a great pleasure to work with. Tim had also worked with our videographers, which also made the whole process incredibly smooth. Tim stayed at our wedding reception until 1am in order to capture us stuffing our faces at our late-night food truck. Don't have enough great things to say about Tim! My family recently hired him for a family shoot as well (he is great with kids!). Now, we just need to narrow down the wonderful pictures he took to choose what goes in the album. 100000% recommend Tim for your photography needs.
Tim takes amazing photos! We wanted someone who knew the location well where we got married, which was at the Prado, as there are so many great places to take pictures. He knew it ...
like the back of his hand and knew exactly where to take us to capture the day. He even accommodated our "no look first look" and the pictures turned out just as we wanted. There are so many great ones to chose from, and all of our friends and family couldn't have been happier. He got action shots from our first dance and all of the other events of the day that are truly perfect. I could not be happier with all of the pictures and will have a hard, but fun time picking our my favorites so we can order larger prints to put up in our house.
He also had a unique option of Wedding as Art, which is another registry option where guests can contribute toward an album or any type of print or photo you may want to order afterwards. We thought this was a great idea and took advantage of it. I know a lot of our guests loved it as well.
Tim was very accommodating on all of our requests, and was always prompt to respond. I highly recommend Tim, as his photography skills are top of the line! Thanks for capturing our day.
Tim did a great job! He and his assistant made our wedding day easy and took the lead getting all of our detail shots/ getting ready photos while I was busy in hair and makeup. He ...
was extremely easy to work with and professional; laying out the wedding day timeline and all our must have shots ahead of time with me. I loved that we got to take our engagement shots with him ahead of time at Balboa Park and La Jolla Beach as practice for the wedding day. The photos turned out beautifully and I had almost 1,000 shots from our wedding day. Within 3 weeks of our wedding I had a flash drive with all the photos in hand and in 2 weeks I already had an online album I could view with a slideshow to share with family and friends.

include great candids and some traditional portraits. He is a nice easy going man to work with. He listens to your needs and makes suggestions based on your wishes. We almost walked away from using him as he is a bigger investment than many photographers but found that he is worth every cent! If photos are your priority spend the money! You won't regret it!;One thing you may want to remember is that while Tim's package includes you having the rights to your images after the wedding you only get images up to 5x7.
