. His photos are absolutely stunning, and perfectly reflect the emotions that my husband and I (and all our guests) were feeling on our wedding day. I know that I'm going to have these beautiful memories to look back on for years to come, and they will immediately take me back to that special day. But more than the photos themselves, Tim made the process fun. Taking wedding photos can be particularly uncomfortable, especially if you are not someone that likes being in front of a camera. Both my husband and I were nervous that our awkwardness would show through in the photos, but you'd never be able to tell how weird we felt when looking at the end result. Plus, we absolutely loved that he offered engagement photos as part of his package. It gave us an opportunity to get to know Tim ahead of our actual wedding day, and gave us a small taste of what our day-of experience would be like (spoiler alert: so easy and fun!) Tim makes it easy for you to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and had me laughing the entire time so that you saw the genuine happiness I felt rather than the nerves that a camera can bring. He worked so well with our venue, and was great about listening to the things that we wanted to be able to capture on camera. I would highly recommend Tim to any couple looking for an easy-going photographer that is focused on capturing the feeling of the day rather than a list of stiff, posed shots.

I was worried that he’d be out of our budget but I actually found that he was very reasonable considering the local market. My now husband is not keen on photo sessions but Tim even set him at ease. Most importantly, our photos are gorgeous. From our engagements, to my bridals, to the actual wedding photos, I just can’t stop looking at them. I’m so grateful that we were able to work with him and now have a wonderful set of photographs to relive the day over and over again!

I think his unique, moody, artistic style brings such beauty and depth to what would otherwise be a standard photo (even our “standing at the altar” photos look like art!). so that I could surprise my hubs with some cheeky photos and they were absolutely incredible (my husband obviously agrees - lol)! Not only did Tim work with our super short engagement timeframe (2.5 months), but he also made sure that we got what we wanted out of the whole experience. He made two semi-awkward individuals feel sooo comfortable in front of the camera and our pictures turned out so natural and captured our memories/us beautifully. I'm eternally grateful that we went with him to do this for us, as photos are a MAJOR deal to me and I know that I will cherish the ones he took for a lifetime! Everyone ooooed and ahhhhed over our engagement and wedding photos after I shared them and I still get compliments on them 10 months later. The only (and I truly mean only) thing that was slightly negative was that it took a decent amount of time to get our wedding photos back. He was unbelievably quick for our engagements and my boudoir photos (thankfully because of the tight timeline), but it was quite a wait for the wedding photos. Of course, it's expected to take awhile because of the amount of photos you'll get back and all the work that goes into editing, so it was easy to get over that once I saw how gorgeous they all were! Worth it! If you're debating, just go for it! He's modestly priced and his work doesn't show it, as it is top notch and such high-quality. I'll undoubtedly be using Tim for future photos (his maternity stuff looks insane!!) Couldn't recommend Tim Waters Photography more!!!

After looking at tons of photographer profiles, I stumbled across Tim's work while looking for a wedding photographer via local bloggers online and fell in love with his editorial look. It was clean, yet gorgeous, and seemed effortless. All of which came to be true for us. When you meet Tim in person, (this is the best part) he is completely unassuming and happy to accommodate any and all bridal requests. Clearly, emotions run high surrounding these events, and Tim really offered a sense of balance and thoughtfulness when it was needed. He incorporated all of our ideas and then built on them. After seeing our engagement photos, I was even more excited to see his shots of the wedding day. Then came the typical crazy, unpredictable weather that is Austin in May on the big day. I was stressed, worried, etc., and Tim came in and immediately took over, got us organized, brought a lot of fun to the afternoon ahead of the wedding and allowed me to know at least the photos would be spectacular. The entire day turned out perfect and the photos were the icing on the cake. As I alluded, Tim did mention that wedding photos typically take him 6-8 weeks to edit (which is quicker than most photographers anywhere). Although, he got them to me in 5 weeks flat in the height of wedding season. Truly amazing. He delivered every promise; he managed the weather, the venues; he managed my family (my mother) and my bridesmaids, most of which developed their own client relationship with him and plan to work with him in the near future; he made sure to capture every important person and all the emotions of the day; and, his work is just incomparable. Yet, we ended up with 800 BEAUTIFULLY edited pictures, and all within just a few weeks! As an added bonus, although being based in Round Rock, he made the drive to Houston to do all of our pictures, and I could not be more appreciative!
