I’m so glad I decided to go with Tim for my wedding! He was the best and our pictures turned out amazing! I love how he captures the real, emotional moments. I can not say enough good things about working with Tim! He was phenomenal, one of our favorite vendors from our wedding. His finished products speak for themselves, but what I didn’t appreciate until the day of was how enjoyable he is throughout the photo process on the wedding day. Tim is incredible! We absolutely love our wedding photos, and Tim is the reason they came out so great. He is very organized, detail oriented and great at communicating what he wants you to do for each photo. He was extremely responsive leading up to our wedding, always responding within an hour or less. He also did a great job getting photos of every guest that attended our wedding. My husband and I could not have been happier with our decision to have Tim as our photographer!

Tim was cheerful and fun on the day of our wedding. We didn’t have much contact before the wedding because we lived out of state, but he was responsive to our emails. We are IN LOVE with all of our photos. Every shot is so beautiful and he sent over 800 of them, so it was hard to choose our favorites.

It was no question at all when we got engaged that we would reach out to Tim Waters Photography for our engagement and wedding photos. Back in 2016, I remember looking at his Instagram and was so stunned by how his pictures stood out from any photographer I had seen. His attention to detail and color is so precise and gorgeous. I was so thankful he was able to take my high school senior pictures that year and help me regain confidence. I am not a huge fan of pictures of myself, and neither is my husband. But Tim really helped us loosen up and feel comfortable posing. We were both blown away with the end result of both photo albums. He does an absolutely fantastic job with capturing the chemistry and important moments in life. The best of the best. Literally the night I got engaged I said “alright, time to reach out to Tim!” I have had my eyes on him and his stunning work for years & was waiting until I was able to hire him for my big day. I’m am NOT a natural in front of the camera, but with Tim you absolutely do not have to be. He gave clear instructions/placement to get a full variety of shots for our engagement and wedding day. I was in SHOCK when we got our gallery back because he made me look like I had been workin’ the camera my whole life! And for the impatient brides (which let’s be honest is all of us) he always did a great job of giving little sneak peaks & keeping me updated on the progress of my photos. On top of his true gift of photography, he is a wonderful man to know and work with! Tim was SO amazing to work with!! We used him for our engagements, wedding, and I did a boudoir shoot with him. He’s so friendly, works quick, and makes you feel entirely comfortable. Just winding down from my boudoir photo shoot with Tim and let me tell you... the BEST photographer I’ve ever shot with. Made me feel incredibly comfortable, gave a ton of fun directions, and he got some AMAZING shots. I was shocked with how well they turned out and how much of a model I could be (and those were the unedited photos!) He also shot for my bestfriend’s wedding and the photos turned out PERFECT. Do yourself a favor and don’t hesitate to book with Tim, he is hands down the BEST!

Tim Tim Tim. He is incredible!!! He did our Engagment and wedding day photos and OMG I just got them back and they’re so amazing. The quality for the price is beyond me. Tim is so kind so sweet and so helpful and that’s what I love most about him! I just did some boudoir photos with him for my husband, and once again he blew me away! I know girls may feel uncomfortable doing it but I have never felt more confident and comfortable doing stuff like that because he is so sweet and helpful and is soooo professional. Tim will make your body look amazing with the positions and way he’ll have you place your body because he is so good at his craft. Honestly, You need to book him. He will make everything so magical!! I don’t even know where to begin with my love for Tim. I had been watching Tim’s work for about 5 years throughout college and throughout my time dating my husband. I remember when I first got engaged, I told my husband that the first person we are saving up to book is Tim because I am obsessed with his work. Tim did two Engagment photo shoots for my fiancé and I, one at the fire station and one at a local park. They were both so beautiful and yet so different. I remember thinking “oh god we’re going to look so awkward and my makeup sucked and blah blah” but once I saw the photos I was like omg, Tim made us feel like we were some dang modeling couple haha. Tim always made us feel welcomed, beautiful and taken care of with every interaction. Throughout the time when things started shutting down, he was one of the only vendors who kept our spirits up, reminding us that he was so excited for our wedding, while we were really nervous it was even going to happen. My wedding day last week was a dream, and a huge part of that was having Tim there. I was so excited once he arrived bc I knew that any pose, any moment, any laugh, would be photographed so beautifully and no matter how much I’d miss the day, I knew he captured it through his eyes. We’ve gotten about 2 photos back so far and already our mind is blown. You never know how good someone is at their craft while they’re doing it until you see the final product, and once again I’m just shooooook. I know photos can be expensive, but to be honest I will keep his card for literally every and any occasion because now I just want him to photograph my whole life and also be my new BFF;) Don’t look anywhere else, he is so worth it. I am so in love with the photos Tim was able to capture at our elopement ceremony. I wanted someone who could capture candid photos that didn't look too posed and Tim did just that! My husband and I would both consider ourselves pretty awkward in front of a camera, but Tim made us feel comfortable and just made everything so fun and effortless. I will be using Tim as our wedding photographer for our large ceremony in 2021 that was postponed due to COVID-19, and hopefully for any and all other major life events we have, as I'm obsessed with the photos from the elopement! I have gotten so many comments from friends and family about how he captured the pure joy and happiness through these photos so wonderfully. Your wedding is an intimate affair, and having someone so joyful and thoughtful by our sides throughout the day was wonderful. We hired Tim Waters for our wedding at Prospect House at the recommendation of our planning team with Lovely Day Events and based on his beautiful past work and photography style. I reached out to dozens of photographers and interviewed a couple because photos are so important to me. Ultimately, we chose Tim because his photos look natural, they are emotive, and his editing style is slightly moody without being too dark. Leading up to the wedding, Tim was super responsive over email and provided thoughtful responses to all of my questions. On the wedding day, I appreciated that he was assertive and as someone not used to being professionally photographed, his cues and direction were very helpful. At the end of the night before he took off, he checked in with me to see if we wanted to get any other last pictures. We enjoyed working with Tim and his second shooter Tammy was great too! It was very helpful to have a photography team that was familiar with the venue and could quickly direct us to different spaces for portraits and group shots. I recommend the package with two photographers since it is great to have shots from different angles for special moments like the first look and during the ceremony. The photos are beautiful and really capture the emotion and essence of the day. Thank you, Tim!

Tim is by far our most hired photographer at The Union. He has probably shot more weddings at our venue than anyone and there is a reason for it! Our clients absolutely love his work! He is so friendly, relatable, and his photography style fits our space like a glove. WOW. Just wow. Tim was one of the first vendors we booked in our planning process, and I'm so glad we made the investment. Pricewise, he fell in the middle of all the vendors we looked at, but I found the experience and result worth every penny. His photos are absolutely stunning, and perfectly reflect the emotions that my husband and I (and all our guests) were feeling on our wedding day. I know that I'm going to have these beautiful memories to look back on for years to come, and they will immediately take me back to that special day. But more than the photos themselves, Tim made the process fun. Taking wedding photos can be particularly uncomfortable, especially if you are not someone that likes being in front of a camera. Both my husband and I were nervous that our awkwardness would show through in the photos, but you'd never be able to tell how weird we felt when looking at the end result. Plus, we absolutely loved that he offered engagement photos as part of his package. It gave us an opportunity to get to know Tim ahead of our actual wedding day, and gave us a small taste of what our day-of experience would be like (spoiler alert: so easy and fun!) Tim makes it easy for you to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and had me laughing the entire time so that you saw the genuine happiness I felt rather than the nerves that a camera can bring. He worked so well with our venue, and was great about listening to the things that we wanted to be able to capture on camera. I would highly recommend Tim to any couple looking for an easy-going photographer that is focused on capturing the feeling of the day rather than a list of stiff, posed shots.

No second shooter at my wedding

We are so happy that Tim photographed our wedding. The photos are beautiful, special, and really capture the essence of our day. He is so kind and fun to work with, and we felt at ease. His second shooter was fabulous to work with as well. I have to say, not only is he a spectacular photographer, but his editing skills are top notch- his personal aesthetic kicks everything up to an 11. Although it took almost the full contracted amount of time for photo return, Tim unpromptedly emailed us with updates on when to expect a turnaround. I thought that was excellent service! Highly, highly recommended.

Booking Tim as our wedding photographer was the BEST choice we made the second we got engaged. Tim is easy to work and talk with, and such a fun photographer! He did both our engagement photos and wedding day, plus also did an extra session for us and we loved every second. All of our photos were clean & BEAUTIFUL. I can not sing praises for Tim Waters Photography loud enough! I had been stalking his Instagram for a couple of months before I seriously started our wedding photographer search. His somewhat darker, moodier, photos just kept drawing me back. I actually emailed about a dozen photographers and spoke with several before I met him in person. His fun personality set me at ease immediately and I knew he was the one! I was worried that he’d be out of our budget but I actually found that he was very reasonable considering the local market. My now husband is not keen on photo sessions but Tim even set him at ease. Most importantly, our photos are gorgeous. From our engagements, to my bridals, to the actual wedding photos, I just can’t stop looking at them. I’m so grateful that we were able to work with him and now have a wonderful set of photographs to relive the day over and over again!

I have absolutely adored Tim’s work since I first discovered him through a friend and I knew I HAD to have him be our wedding photographer. Coming from a photography background myself, I have a very critical eye when it comes to other professionals and Tim is absolutely one of the best I know! I think his unique, moody, artistic style brings such beauty and depth to what would otherwise be a standard photo (even our “standing at the altar” photos look like art!). I’ve never really been one that’s into photos of myself, but I have LOVED all of the photos we’ve gotten from Tim. We couldn't be happier with our wedding photographer, Tim Waters. Not only does he capture fantastic moments/candid shots but he is an absolute pleasure to work with. He helped direct us when needed and was a joy to be around. We had a very lively crew and he made sure to capture it! The candid shots from the dance floor are some of my favorites. I would strongly recommend him to capture any occasion (wedding/maternity/editorial/high school seniors) and he will be who we call for those future occasions :)

Where to begin!? Working with Tim was effortless and so much fun! My husband and I used Tim for our engagement session and our wedding day photography and I couldn't be more thrilled with how everything turned out. I also did a boudoir session so that I could surprise my hubs with some cheeky photos and they were absolutely incredible (my husband obviously agrees - lol)! Not only did Tim work with our super short engagement timeframe (2.5 months), but he also made sure that we got what we wanted out of the whole experience. He made two semi-awkward individuals feel sooo comfortable in front of the camera and our pictures turned out so natural and captured our memories/us beautifully. I'm eternally grateful that we went with him to do this for us, as photos are a MAJOR deal to me and I know that I will cherish the ones he took for a lifetime! Everyone ooooed and ahhhhed over our engagement and wedding photos after I shared them and I still get compliments on them 10 months later. The only (and I truly mean only) thing that was slightly negative was that it took a decent amount of time to get our wedding photos back. He was unbelievably quick for our engagements and my boudoir photos (thankfully because of the tight timeline), but it was quite a wait for the wedding photos. Of course, it's expected to take awhile because of the amount of photos you'll get back and all the work that goes into editing, so it was easy to get over that once I saw how gorgeous they all were! Worth it! If you're debating, just go for it! He's modestly priced and his work doesn't show it, as it is top notch and such high-quality. I'll undoubtedly be using Tim for future photos (his maternity stuff looks insane!!) Couldn't recommend Tim Waters Photography more!!!

Tim is incredibly talented and a joy to work with. My husband and I took boudoir and wedding photos to celebrate our anniversary. I was nervous about the boudoir photos and thought I would feel super awkward, but Tim made me so comfortable and coached us through the whole process. He captured our personalities perfectly. Tim was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding! He is so easy going and talented that he made two people who hate taking pictures so comfortable that we had a blast! I had a pretty high amount of anxiety about wedding pictures because I don't love pictures of myself and I am not comfortable being the center of attention. He made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot, did amazing work helping me plan out what I needed for the big day, got my pictures to me at a reasonable time and of course the pictures came out SO BEAUTIFUL. People could not stop complementing how amazing the pictures came out. After the wedding, he made time for me with both of our busy schedules to do my bridals, which were a huge deal because I had some custom dresses from Vietnam made for my wedding. I was not expecting those pictures to come back so quickly either! Today, when I hear someone getting married, I do not hesitate to yell TIM WATERS PHOTOGRAPHY to emphasize how much I believe and stand by him and his work. Best wedding decision ever.

I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for my bridals and wedding day! I am very particular about pictures, yet he blew all expectations I had out of the water. He is incredibly talented and also so fun and kind to work with. Taking pictures can be nerve-wracking, but I felt very comfortable with him because of how personable and friendly he was. We had our wedding in Aransas Pass, Texas in May. We are both very grateful he made the drive out there, to take some beautiful photos we will definitely cherish forever.
