Let me just start by saying that Timber has amazing food and their catering team did an amazing job on our wedding day. All of our guests were so surprised to have fresh wood fired pizza and are still raving about how amazing it was and I couldn’t agree more. We started out working with the owner Chris who walked us through the process and our contract which was super helpful. As we got closer to our wedding day we were put in contact with M who would be our day of coordinator for catering. Unfortunately working with M wasn’t as straightforward. We had a lot of difficulty with communication. There were several times where we just didn’t hear back from her, including when she was out of office for over a week with no notice less than a month before the wedding. I finally resorted to just emailing everyone listed on her out of office email and Erica came to our aid. Working with Erica the last couple of weeks up to the wedding was great. Erica had great communication and I’m glad we got everything set and in line leading up to the wedding. Overall our wedding day turned out amazing, I just wish I was a little less stressed during the lead up.

We recently used Timber for our wedding and cannot speak highly enough about their services. To start, they were extremely timely and courteous during the lead up. Kevin was great to work with throughout the planning process, listening to our needs and remaining flexible. On the day of the event, they had everything promised, and took care of their own setup, which looked great. They got right to work and the whole team was helpful all day. They were all kind and personable. I know the bartender made a strong impression on many of our guests. Kevin was also really attentive of the whole wedding party, making sure we had something to eat during cocktail hour as we took photos. And the food was AMAZING! our guests were raving. There was a lot left over by the end of the ceremony so Timber boxed it all up. It all got taken so fast! And to top it all off, they were kind enough to warm the pie (we're not cake people lol) in their kiln. Do yourself a flavor and book them.

We used Timber Pizza to provide food for a post wedding party for 100 people. From the initial conversations through the final service, the team at Timber was great to work with. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional; they were willing to be flexible and adjust timing and schedules to meet our needs. We had 5 different appetizers, 4 different pizza types, salads and desserts. The food was AMAZING. My guests (and some are pretty picky!) raved about how great everything was. Timber Pizza was able to accommodate food allergies which was a huge benefit for us. I would highly recommend Timber Pizza and would absolutely use them again to cater future events

Timber was the caterer for our wedding reception in March 2023 and we are so glad that we chose to work with them. We love their pizza, and Timber’s catering service was a perfect fit for the kind of event we wanted to have - fun and a little unconventional. Throughout our planning process, we really appreciated Timber’s flexibility, from working with a second caterer so that we could bring in some Indian food, to accommodating a range of dietary needs, to designing a custom bar package. We knew the food would be good, but we were also impressed by the bartenders, servers, and everyone involved in the set-up and break-down of the event. The food, drinks, and staff all got rave reviews from all of our guests, and the event went off without a hitch thanks to Maya’s management.

Timber pizza was perfect for our wedding. We worked with Kevin and the RVA group specifically, and he/they were so great and easy to work with. Super helpful and accommodating, and just very nice and chill while still being very thorough and professional. exactly the vibe we needed for our wedding catering. the pizza is honestly so good too, we are huge pizza people hence we chose it for our wedding food. everyone raves about it, it they also easily catered to some of our vegan and gluten-free family members. overall the experiment was top-notch. Kevin, thank you and your team so much! it was a triumph.

I am so happy with my decision to have Timber Pizza Company at our Washington, D.C. wedding. It’s one of our local faves and was the perfect fit for our casual vibe. Chris and Maya were wonderful to work with, and of course the food was amazing! We loved that the pizza was served right out of their mobile oven on-site, and the Timber crew was very accommodating of our guests’ various food allergies. The on-site team was enthusiastic and on the ball. I highly recommend Timber for your wedding catering needs!

Timber blew us and our guests away!! Their pizza is SO good, the appetizers were out of this world, and even the side salad had guests raving! Maya and Chris made our experience totally smooth, from the tasting to final menu to day of. We can't recommend them enough!

Chris, Maya, and the team at Timber are absolutely incredible. From start to finish, we were well taken care of - from the initial consult, to the tasting, to the UNMATCHED day of service, everyone on the Timber team was a true delight to work with. The food was delicious (our guests raved about it), it was fresh, plentiful, and customizable for those with dietary restrictions. The wait staff was responsive and FUN, enjoying the music while they served our guests with style (they were universally beloved). I would recommend Timber to ANYONE for any event! A truly incredible value and a joy from start to finish.

We had the best experience with Timber! Their pizza was a huge hit with everyone -- we had people asking where they could find the restaurant to go back again! They were also able to meet the dietary needs of all of our guests, which was a huge plus. The staff were communicative, punctual, flexible, and we knew we could trust that they had everything handled on the day of the wedding. Don't be scared away by the price tag! After an initial quote that was too expensive for us, Chris worked with us to make a plan that would fit within our budget. There are tons of ways to customize to fit what you are looking for! We highly recommend Timber to anyone looking for wood-fired pizza for their big day!

Chris and Maya were wonderful and very professional. Guests loved the pizza and appetizers and they worked with us to find a vegetarian menu that was still delicious and exciting. Everything went exactly according to plan and the event was a huge success. Thank you!!

Kevin and the Richmond Timber location catered my wedding in Waynesboro, VA. Having a catering background myself, I was beyond impressed. I wanted a more casual feel but still able to dress up the reception and give people a different wedding experience. Not only was the pizza and appetizers (the apps were SO good) delicious, the presentation and pizza itself was BEAUTIFUL. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was hot and made on site. Our guests raved about the pizza and had boxes to take home for anyone who wanted. The vendors were equally impressed and wanted them on their vendor list asap. Kevin was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive and accommodating. They have definitely figured out wood fire pizza on a large scale and anyone should feel very confident in hiring them. I’m so glad I saved money on traditional wedding food and it ended up being SO much better!

The Timber Pizza team was amazing, and simultaneously were the best bartenders and made incredible food. Everyone has raved about the pizza and apps for years after our wedding and tells us it was their favorite wedding food. Plus their pizza is stunning and makes for great photos!

Chris, Aaron and the Timber Pizza team are incredible. It was my husband's dream to have them cater our wedding and I am so glad we chose them! With planning a wedding in the middle of COVID, things were beyond stressful, but Timber was there to help us along the way! From being flexible in the planning, to helping us figure out the safest way to feed our guests - they were on it! And day of - they were a dream. Everyone was so enthusiastic and great to work with. They were there with energy and smiles all night long and even joined in the dancing and fun towards the end of the night. All our guests raved about the incredible food and service. AND they were able to wrap up some pizza in boxes for folks to take home and enjoy later. THANK YOU TIMBER FAMILY! We had the most incredible wedding and best part - we can come back to Timber and enjoy their food and good service for years to come!

Chris and the Timber Pizza team are amazing. I had to scramble at the last minute to get a new rehearsal dinner provider and they were able to come through for the win. Our rehearsal dinner was the talk of the evening. Great tasting pizza cooked onsite, what more could you ask for. The on-site crew were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Timber Pizza.
