I can’t speak highly enough about how Timber Pizza handled catering for our wedding. It was a flawless experience from our in-person tasting where we could try every pizza, appetizer, and salad they had to boxed up pizzas for guests to take home at the end of the night. They thought of all of the little things and their staff was so kind and helpful. Their bartending staff was extremely efficient for a wedding with almost 100 people even with our specialty cocktail menu. The food was fresh and delicious and nobody had to wait a long time. They also accommodated our guests’ dietary restrictions seamlessly and were very generous with pricing—most vendors will make you lock in your total number and pay for it well in advance, but Timber checked in with us to adjust pricing closer to our wedding date. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and can’t recommend Timber Pizza enough!

Jo, our point of contact, was especially wonderful—organized, calm, and always quick to communicate and accommodate our needs.
On the wedding day, they went above and beyond in every way. Not only did they provide amazing pizza and bartending services, but they also handled setup and cleanup with total professionalism. The pizza itself was a huge hit—guests could not stop talking about how delicious it was. It was such a fun and memorable touch that guests were also able to take pizza home as favors, which everyone absolutely loved.
We also had unexpected rain on our wedding day, and Timber adapted effortlessly. They adjusted the setup without hesitation and made sure everything continued running smoothly despite the weather. Their flexibility and calm approach made a potentially stressful situation feel completely under control.
Everything from the food to the service to the behind-the-scenes execution was outstanding. We felt fully supported the entire time and never had to worry about a thing. e wedding day was professional, friendly, and did a great job serving our guests despite the unexpected challenges our reception faced.
The planning process, however, was more difficult than we anticipated. Communication with our coordinator was inconsistent, it was often challenging to get responses, our tasting had to proceed without her present, and she arrived significantly late to our final walkthrough. As a couple planning a wedding, timely communication and reliability are incredibly important, and this added unnecessary stress during the process.
On the wedding day itself, the food was fantastic. Our only disappointment was that there did not appear to be enough appetizers for all of our guests, and as the bride and groom, we never received any ourselves. We would highly recommend that future couples ensure someone sets aside appetizers for them, as it’s easy to miss out while greeting guests and taking photos.
Despite the communication challenges during planning, the quality of the food and the efforts of the day-of team made for a positive overall experience, and we are grateful to everyone who helped feed our guests and keep the evening running smoothly.

ocktail hour appetizers, buffet dinner, and bar service, and every single part was phenomenal.
From the planning process to the execution, their team was incredibly thorough, organized, and easy to work with. They even did a walkthrough of our venue with us beforehand and carefully mapped out the entire setup, which made us feel so confident and stress-free going into the day. They truly thought of every detail; they even provided water bottles outside of the ceremony space for our guests, which was such a thoughtful touch.
And of course, the food was INCREDIBLE. So many of our guests raved about how delicious everything was, and people are still talking about it. One of our favorite details was that at the end of the night, they packed up leftovers into pizza boxes so guests could take some for the road.
The entire Timber Pizza team was professional, attentive, and wonderful to work with. We would highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for wedding catering. They made our day so special!

e food truck in Richmond, VA for a tasting, and Kevin took such great care of us. He let us sample as much pizza as we could possibly eat, and when we figured out which 3 we wanted at our wedding, he made one of each and sent them home with us. We signed the contract shortly after that experience.
Then, when it came time to select appetizers for our cocktail hour we went back to Richmond, and were giving the exact same treatment. Some people raised their eyebrows when we told them we were doing brick oven pizzas at the wedding, and I told them to find me after they eat the day of. They all came and said they were wrong, and blown away by the quality of the food. We also used Timber Pizza Co. to staff a bartender, and they did a GREAT job. The staff were all wonderful, polite, professional, and fun. What's more, is that everyone with a sensitivity, allergy, condition, etc. was taken care of properly. Everyone at our wedding went back for seconds.
Kevin, Timber family, and Ilaria, thank you all for such a great meal and helping make our day so special. We love you all and cannot wait to see you all in Richmond again!

Timber Pizza was the right way to go. The communication with our wedding planner was prompt and Kevin was so incredibly helpful and responsive. Even after booking, Kevin was responsive to answer any last minute questions. Their menu is AMAZING and we had so many people complement the quality of the food for cocktail hour and dinner. Our tasting which was led by Kevin was also fantastic - so tasty and we were able to try so many things (pictures are from our tasting)! Kevin was also kind enough to tell the crew to make extra pizzas for the wedding party as we were staying at the venue that night. He was also able to accommodate adjustments to the salad for our guests who had nut allergies.
The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was the crew on the day of our wedding set up our table numbers incorrectly. Each table number was in a particular location on a chart I printed and it cost my parents being placed at a table that was very far from the dance floor where they couldn’t see anything, and also far from the bathroom which impacted my mother as she is handicapped and needed a closer table. The crew was also throwing away the reusable frosted cups we bought with our dogs on them which cost us fun souvenirs for our guests. Things that I’m just not sure were communicated to the crew properly, but overall everything else was phenomenal! Would book with Timber again for any catering needs!

pizza and are still raving about how amazing it was and I couldn’t agree more. We started out working with the owner Chris who walked us through the process and our contract which was super helpful. As we got closer to our wedding day we were put in contact with M who would be our day of coordinator for catering. Unfortunately working with M wasn’t as straightforward. We had a lot of difficulty with communication. There were several times where we just didn’t hear back from her, including when she was out of office for over a week with no notice less than a month before the wedding. I finally resorted to just emailing everyone listed on her out of office email and Erica came to our aid. Working with Erica the last couple of weeks up to the wedding was great. Erica had great communication and I’m glad we got everything set and in line leading up to the wedding. Overall our wedding day turned out amazing, I just wish I was a little less stressed during the lead up.

On the day of the event, they had everything promised, and took care of their own setup, which looked great. They got right to work and the whole team was helpful all day. They were all kind and personable. I know the bartender made a strong impression on many of our guests. Kevin was also really attentive of the whole wedding party, making sure we had something to eat during cocktail hour as we took photos. And the food was AMAZING! our guests were raving. There was a lot left over by the end of the ceremony so Timber boxed it all up. It all got taken so fast! And to top it all off, they were kind enough to warm the pie (we're not cake people lol) in their kiln. Do yourself a flavor and book them.

Everyone was incredibly nice and professional; they were willing to be flexible and adjust timing and schedules to meet our needs.
We had 5 different appetizers, 4 different pizza types, salads and desserts. The food was AMAZING. My guests (and some are pretty picky!) raved about how great everything was. Timber Pizza was able to accommodate food allergies which was a huge benefit for us.
I would highly recommend Timber Pizza and would absolutely use them again to cater future events

Throughout our planning process, we really appreciated Timber’s flexibility, from working with a second caterer so that we could bring in some Indian food, to accommodating a range of dietary needs, to designing a custom bar package. We knew the food would be good, but we were also impressed by the bartenders, servers, and everyone involved in the set-up and break-down of the event. The food, drinks, and staff all got rave reviews from all of our guests, and the event went off without a hitch thanks to Maya’s management.
