Timberlake Lodge

I was impressed from the very beginning with Timberlake's attention to detail to me and my wedding. The wedding planner was fantastic and very organized. Timberlake is not only a gorgeous venue with an awesome ballroom fit for a large wedding, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating to what I wanted as a bride. The Timberlake is a bit on the pricey side to book - but it's worth it if you want everything done for you, so you don't have to lift a finger. I paid for the venue, my parents the food and my in-laws the alcohol. So I cannot speak to how much the food or alcohol cost. What I will say, is the food at Timberlake is amazing and all my guests were raving about our pasta bar. One of my guests said, "best wedding meal I have ever had, at any wedding." Our wedding reception schedule got pushed back a bit due to guest arrival and Timberlake worked with me to make sure everything still fit together. The chef was able to hold off on the food for a bit longer so we could get our grand march in! Overall, the experience was fantastic and I wouldn't change anything about our venue, if I could go back and do it all over again.

Timberline is such an amazing and unique place to have a wedding! I was a little sad that it ended up being cloudy and we didn't get a view of the top of the mountain but how many people can say that they got married on the top of Mt. Hood! Unfortunately the weather in this area will always be a gamble but it was beautiful regardless. We got married on 6/28, and oddly after I picked a date there was part of me that wished we had done a winter wedding. Well, it did end up looking like a winter wedding because of the clouds and some fog. We were still able to get married outside which was what I had wanted but our back-up ceremony site (Raven's Nest) is also an amazing spot to get married and where we had the reception. I did not have a wedding planner which I regretted a little bit the day of but Chandra was such a huge help and such a wonderful person to work with! Finding a venue took us the longest to do but after meeting with her I didn't have a doubt that this is where I wanted to get married. She was for sure right about me not having time to eat very much but the little bit I had was amazing and lots of people complimented on the presentation of the food and how good it was. The servers were excellent and always around to bring me another glass of wine :) On a side note to the bride, I wasn't getting good cell phone service at Government Camp where I was getting ready, so if you don't plan on having a wedding planner, I would for sure have a person (not in the wedding party) in charge of little details and also in charge of answering your phone! What a dream place to get married!!

They did an amazing job with everything for our wedding! The event planner there, even though he was extremely busy, took the time out of his day to sit down and actually help me with making my centerpieces the night before! Without asking! He was incredible and the staff is so friendly and always has a smile to give. The room we stayed it was beautiful and very elegant. If you're looking for an elegant venue with a flair of northern Minnesota, this is the place! The reception went off without a hitch and everything was flawless!
