hings more than once and if you want any music other than "traditional" wedding music be prepared to explain yourself and call out every individual song you want. I think Pete still needs to learn what "Texas Country" music really is and that good country dancing music for my parents means more George Strait and less Garth Brooks. I actually mailed Pete a jump drive with all the music on it that I wanted him to play, but I'd say he probably threw that away and played whatever he wanted to anyways. Ultimately, it was fun, the dance floor never felt empty, and when specifically instructed Pete will do whatever he can to make you happy.

had a few issues working with him. Especially during the last week leading up to the wedding while I needed to be coordinating other things, Pete had to not only be micromanaged, but each detail (from song selections to scheduling) had to be communicated to him multiple times, and even then he would change things back from what he'd been told after the fact. He was one of the biggest stressors leading up to my wedding, so much that we spent some time considering other last minute options, but ultimately didn't have time to implement them. He also interjected during our toasts, which were already taking longer than we had planned, with his own (long) toast about marriage. While his jokes were funny, and we appreciated him sharing that with us, his timing could have been better.
All that aside, he did an excellent job keeping the dance floor packed, and all of our guests enjoyed dancing, which is no easy feat, and we appreciate his accomplishing that much, at least.

ery responsive and truly listened to what we wanted in regards to a wedding vibe! He was extremely reasonable cost wise! We had Pete play for 8 hours and he nailed every song!
My husband and I were VERY specific as to the type of music we wanted played and when and Pete was extremely accommodating. Our number one MUST HAVE for our wedding was an unforgettable dance party and that is exactly what Pete delivered! He was great with accommodating song requests as well. We are huge texas country lovers and had a lot of requests for songs to be played that Pete had never heard of before (Shane Smith & the Saints, Ryan Bingham, Damn Quails, James McMurtry). He bought a lot of special music for us to be played and he split the price with us. He listened to our music and was able to pick up the type of vibe we wanted. We had typical upbeat pop music play during the cocktail hour, followed by texas country during dinner, followed by a mix of EVERYTHING for the dance party (texas country, country, the grand march, pop, rap, 70's, 80's, you name it).
Another thing I really appreciated that Pete did was keep us on time! Rather than shelling out for a day-of wedding coordinator, I provided Pete with a timeline and he made sure we stuck to it!
Pete was fabulous and I would recommend him for anyone, no matter what style of wedding you are going for. He will accommodate!!!
