As the daughter of Puerto Rican migrants, I am fluent in both English and Spanish, embracing the rich cultural heritage of my family. Born and raised in New York, I moved to New Jersey when my husband and I got married, where we decided to raise our three children. With a fulfilling 40-year career in Education, I spent 21 years as a teacher and 19 years as an administrator, before retiring in 2019. My passion for helping others led me to start my business, Times of Your Lives, in 2015. Initially focusing on wedding planning, I later expanded to include travel and officiant services. I am a Certified Wedding Planner, a Certified Sandals Specialist, and a Certified Autism Travel Professional. I have also completed trainings on Disney Parks and various Caribbean Islands. Additionally, I am a proud member of the Association of Bridal Consultants. I take great joy in assisting my clients in making their dream weddings a reality, creating stress-free and memorable experiences that they and their guests can truly enjoy.

Myrna was a wonderful help leading up to my wedding, and on my wedding day. She was our day of coordinator and helped smooth out the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception without us having to think about it.

We used Myrna as our Day of Coordinator for our wedding on 9/10/22. She was great leading up to the event as well, keeping me on track and collecting all of the contracts and contact information for vendors so that they were all in one place. She created our wedding timeline and helped us decorate and break down the venue. She also was available day-of to take care of any issues that came up, which took a lot of stress off of myself and my family. She’s a sweet lady and seemed to really care about our event and that my husband and I had the best time. She was responsive, organized, and flexible. I would recommend her to anyone looking for extra help on the day of your event.

Myrna planned our daughter’s wedding which took place at our home in the summer of 2021. After interviewing many wedding professionals, our daughter felt most comfortable with Myrna. In less than six months Myrna helped us navigate so many details we would never have thought about. She researched caterers, furniture rentals, sound systems, found us a huge tent, had tons of suggestions for decorations, met us at stores, bakeries, and several times at our home. She secured for us reasonable pricing for high quality services. Myrna's service is very reasonably priced for product she delivers. Our favorite aspect of Myrna’s service is that she had things so under control that we felt like guests at our own daughter’s wedding.

Myrna was incredible! She helped us every single step of the way - from the small details to the big ones, she took care of it all. Her experience and organization made for efficient and productive meetings both leading up to our wedding and on our wedding day.

Myrna is the absolute best! She truly is your own personal fairy godmother. Due to covid my wedding had to be postponed but I still wanted to be married on my original day. She transformed our backyard into a wonderful space. If you saw it you would think you were at an actual venue. It was everything I wanted. My vendors all loved working with her as well. I highly recommend Myrna.

Myrna Garcia is an amazing wedding planner! She made the vision my husband and I had for our wedding come to life. She was patient with us every step of the way and she reassured us that everything would turn out okay during this crazy pandemic. She was extremely organized and found us amazing vendors to be part of our team such as a fantastic: DJ, photographer, videographer, florist and officiant. I could not be happier with her services ! She truly made our day extra special :)

Myrna is a God sent!!! I had to cancel my 2 year wedding plan and plan a whole new wedding in 2 months. When I found Myrna, I cried on the phone because I felt so overwhelmed with the wedding, COVID, and nursing school. I can never thank her and her team enough for everything she did for me. In 2 months Myrna made my dream wedding come true!! She was the best investment and has become a great friend to my husband and me. She took off all the stress from planning our wedding.

Myrna is a wonderful wedding planner. She guides you through the process of planning a wedding— each step of the way. While she is organized and professional, she is also down to earth and approachable. It was a blessing to have Myrna on our wedding day since no matter how organized you are little things pop up. Because of Myrna—my husband and I (and our bridal party) were able to spend more time enjoying the festivities, rather than worrying about details. We highly recommend her services!!!

My husband and I are forever thankful for everything Myrna did for us in order to make our wedding a reality.
