I truly don't have enough good words to say about Tracy! We first met at my Mom's wedding, where she was the photographer, and my family immediately loved her! Tracy took our engagement photos in Chapel Hill back in September 2019 and then came to the beach in June 2020 and produced the most breathtaking photos of our wedding day...and luckily, she's available to take our photos next summer for our second wedding celebration post-COVID! Tracy is a true artist. She honestly captures every moment in a way that captivates you and your partner in your most true form. We've already ordered tons of prints from both our engagement and wedding photo shoots and can't wait to have her work hanging in our house for years, and generations, to come! Tracy makes everyone feel at ease and is truly an amazing person to have around on your big day and we simply couldn't imagine having any other photographer. Additionally, Tracy is extremely response throughout the entire process and amazingly creates beautiful images. The mix of photos she took between posed and fun candid was perfect and I really can't recommend Tracy enough! Can't wait to work with her again next year!

Tracy Timmester perfectly captured the joy of our wedding day. She was amazing to work with - from pre-wedding communication, to day of timeline planning - and she made our wedding day completely stress-free. She brought so much creativity when scouting out areas for our portraits, and she even came to our rehearsal to familiarize herself with the venue prior to our wedding day. Tracy is truly a joy to spend time with and our pictures are wonderful as a result. We couldn't recommend Tracy more!

If you are looking for a wedding photographer, stop what you are doing and choose Timmester Photography. Tracy is AMAZING. She was my favorite vendor to work with. She is so incredibly nice and accommodating. She has several different wedding packages to choose from and will help make a custom package for you if needed. My wedding was in Raleigh, NC but my husband and I live in Greenville, NC. Tracy was nice enough to drive all the way to Greenville from Chapel Hill, on a weeknight, to do our engagement pictures. Even after having to reschedule several times due to weather. It was also sweltering hot and she was able to make my husband and I look like models despite the heat. She also was more than willing to allow our dogs to be a part of the photoshoot! She even made them look like they are well-behaved dog models (they are not). For all of the pictures she has had a super fast turn-around. At the last minute I decided I wanted to have bridal portraits done before the wedding and she obliged without question. She did a super fast turn around for those pictures as well so that I could display a portrait at the wedding reception. The day of the wedding we had two shooters so that the guys had getting ready pictures, and the girls. Plus we had plenty of coverage during the ceremony and reception. We got married on 9/22/18 and she has already gotten us a sneak peek!! The pictures are beautiful and I can't wait to get the rest. She also does beautiful guest books with your engagement pictures and wedding books with your pictures that are of supreme quality. They are hard back with thick, hard pages for the pictures. Tracy is the best!! I want her to photograph my whole life. Thank you for everything!!

Tracy Timmester is the absolute best! Her style is unmatched and her photos are incredible! Tracy's candid photography style catches the best moments of your wedding- in what feels like only a few seconds she can get stunning, real-life, beautiful photos. She will get the standard, required photos, but also the smiles, laughter, tears, and enthusiasm of all the in-between moments. She managed to catch every bridal party member smiling & laughing while standing outside in 30-mph winds for just a few minutes. Tracy seamlessly handled week-of ceremony venue changes and caught better shots than ever expected. Tracy has a beautiful mind that can find a hidden spot between trees or an unexpected angle that no other photographer could find; creating natural, emotional, remarkable memories. Not only is Tracy's photography stunning, she's SO fun! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every meeting with her because she's so happy & fun to be around. On the day-of, she was energetic and laughed & smiled along with the rest of us, encouraging of how great we looked and making sure we were happy. Tracy will go the extra mile to get some unbelievable shots. But she does this in a hidden, fly-on-the-wall manner that never interrupts the ceremony or reception. Tracy provided us a "sneak peak" slideshow shortly after the wedding that was set to music which we all loved - it was so fun to see so many unexpected & beautiful shots so soon! It was like a movie, watching such great clips. Tracy worked tirelessly and was so flexible with my ideas to create a gorgeous photo album - her creativity of photo pairing and edits are unbelievable. We will treasure the printed photos she took and our stunning album forever. Tracy is worth EVERY penny. You get much more than you could ever dream of. She's the best!

Tracy was absolutely amazing! She did our engagement shoot and our wedding and I can't imagine anyone could have done a better job. She got so many wonderful candid and posed photos of us and everyone at the wedding I find myself looking through them constantly just to relive the day! She's got such a great personality and is so wonderful to work with. I can't recommend her enough! Not to mention the adorable little box she sent with our flash drive, and a few select photos printed in high quality 4x4 photos as a little bonus. She's the best!

Tracy was able to schedule engagement photos of my daughter and her fiancé around their work and travel commitments for which we were very grateful. Unfortunately, it started raining on our way to the session. Nevertheless, Tracy was at the site and braved mosquitos and humidity to capture the love, tenderness, and humor of my daughter and her fiancé. She managed to hold back the rain, too! Tracy was such a pleasure to work with—incredibly friendly, relaxed and easygoing. She put my daughter and her fiancé at ease immediately and turned a two-hour photo session into a fun adventure. Tracy combines her knowledge of photography with artistic skill and client collaboration. She even went above and beyond expectations by skillfully working with my daughter’s dog!! Tracy is a true artist; she will go anywhere and do anything to get just the right shot. She works with the environment so photos look natural. Her photos are all composed beautifully with exquisite, vibrant color so that each photo tells a story. A “sneak peek” of the engagement photos was delivered quickly even though this is her busy season. Tracy is a consummate professional, and we can’t wait for her to take photos of the wedding next summer!

My husband and I knew the minute we met Tracy that she was the photographer for us! She has such a sweet, down to earth personality, not to mention-- her photos are beyond STUNNING! Tracy is absolutely AMAZING to work with! To say I cringe at the thought of getting my picture taken would be an understatement, but Tracy and her assistant were able to make my husband and I feel so at ease during our engagement session and we hardly even noticed she was there during the wedding and reception. Tracy has such a kind, calming presence and she makes you feel like you are the most special couple she has ever photographed! When she arrived as I was starting to get ready on the wedding day I was so genuinely happy just to see her—like an old friend! Tracy is extremely professional, organized, responsive and was also so flexible scheduling our engagement session—and the photos turned out better than I could have ever imagined! Tracy created the most beautiful guest book with such special photos for our wedding on June 15th! We just received a slideshow of our “sneak peek” wedding photos and it brought tears to both my husband’s and my eyes! Tracy is so incredibly talented! She absolutely captured the emotions of the day, which was all such a blur to us! I can’t stop looking at the photos-- we will cherish them for a lifetime! I simply cannot say enough good things about Tracy! We are so grateful we found her and have received SO MANY rave reviews from our friends and family about her and her work!

I can't say enough great things about Tracy Timmester!! She was a pleasure to work with, she has great ideas, listens and always got back to emails and phone calls promptly. In trying to wade through all the wedding photographers in the DC area, prompt replying became key. Then, when we met with Tracy we had been looking at photographers and florists ALL day. Tracy had examples of her work and the framing, matting, album options and was patient as my mom and I asked a million questions! Her pricing was very reasonable and straight forward (which was not always the case with some others we had met). I had a bridal portrait instead of the engagement session and Tracy helped us find and reserve the perfect location (the Meridian House) and after a rough start (my dress didn't fit; I couldn't even get it zipped all the way) - she helped me to relax, enjoy the experience and to not worry! The pictures were great! You would never know I had any dress issues or had been freaking out - all the pictures, from the formal portraits to the candid shots of my veil blowing wildly in the breeze were beautiful! I'm not overly keen on having my picture taken for hours on end, but with Tracy, the time flew by! I've only seen a couple of the pictures from the wedding, but I am not worried. When my bridesmaids commented on how fun and professional Tracy was, I wasn't surprised! She is AWESOME!!!

Tracy is AMAZING! She was one of the first vendors that we booked for our wedding and we are so happy that we did! We did an engagement photo shoot in Old Town Alexandria and she was so laid back that she even made my husband comfortable posing for pictures (it's torture for him). The images came out beautifully and it reassured us that we made the right choice in a wedding photographer. We were expecting our wedding photos to be equally as good, but she ended up blowing us away! I can't express how happy I was when I received our first blog post with our wedding photos! I spent the entire day staring at them because I loved them so much! Not only does she have an awesome talent and a very creative eye, but shes incredibly friendly and kind. We received so many compliments from our wedding guests about how great she was and how they couldn't wait to see her photos. She was everywhere during the wedding and on top of everything, but very hidden and out of the way at the same time. I barely remember seeing her during the ceremony, and she got some awesome shots.
