Unfortunately my husband and I were not as fortunate as the rest of the reviews we read. Timmy decided to take a last minute wedding that took place an hour after our ceremony and was 38 minutes away. Our ceremony was at 5pm and we communicated...
multiple times upon booking that our ceremony would possibly be delayed as my sister was coming from college. Weddings are delayed for all sorts of reasons and he did not account for that. At 5pm he told our coordinator that we had to start otherwise he would have to leave. This created a panic that was felt by not only myself but my entire family as we had to decide between having my sister in the wedding or the officiant leaving. My sister arrived at 5:10 and went and did a quick change and was barely able to hop into the order to make it down the aisle. This was not the service that we expected to receive. We also had gone over changes on Friday the rehearsal for the ceremony Saturday. None of our changes were in the ceremony. The ceremony felt extremely rushed (12min from entrance of bridal party to exit). Overall we were very disappointed in the service that we received and feel that we didn’t get the service that we paid for. Communication with Timmy after the fact at first was very vague and there were no attempts to make it right. My husband and I cannot recommend him to any of our friends and were left disappointed.

I feel it's important to mention that I was there for the rehearsal the day before early, and there on the wedding day early, and waited calmly til your sister arrived, Officiated the Wedding, then signed the paperwork and submitted the paperwork to the courts.

We had the best experience working with Timmy! It was important to us to feel a connection with our officiant, but we were concerned since we are not affiliated with any church in the area. We purchased the package that included 3 marriage prep...
courses and we found them to be so helpful. Timmy made us feel comfortable right from the start and helped continue to build a strong foundation for us leading up to the wedding day. We plan to keep seeing Timmy for marriage counseling to continue on the good path he started us out on.
He has multiple script options for you to chose from and allows you to customize it how you'd like, which was nice to make it feel more personalized. He even mailed our marriage license so we didn't have to worry about it on our honeymoon.
Absolutely would recommend to any brides/grooms.

good way to start difficult conversations that every couple should have prior to getting married. We did meet with him in person to discuss what we had watched in the videos, which both Nick and I found helpful.
We did do a walk thru the day before the wedding. It was very quick/simple but I'm glad we did it.
The day of the ceremony Nick and I were nervous. Pastor Timmy was wonderful to have leading our ceremony in such a calming manner. It helped put Nick and I at ease.
We chose an alternative ceremony with alternative vows. I thought it fit us perfectly.
We got several compliments from our guests about how entertaining Pastor Timmy was, along with how professional he kept the ceremony. I'm so happy Pastor Timmy got to be a part of Nick and I's special day!
I would highly recommend Pastor Timmy for both premarital counseling and performing ceremonies.

uests of Pastor Timmy: 1) We removed all religious aspects from the ceremony. While Pastor Timmy is a religious individual, my groom and I are not and he supported our desires in that; 2) We wrote our own vows. After selecting Pastor Timmy we were able to review the ceremony notes and added vows that he allowed us to read to each other in a way we were comfortable with; 3) At the end of our ceremony we offered all guests a shot and asked everyone to toast our marriage. Pastor Timmy supported this as this was something we wanted to enjoy doing with our guests. Beyond the ceremony it was very easy to get in contact with Pastor Timmy as issues or questions arose. He met us for our rehearsal and explained everything clearly not making it more difficult or stressful than it could have been. He was absolutely wonderful for us and I would recommend him for anyone having any type of ceremony!

ll our fears and concerns. As someone who was trying to find an officiant while living in a different state and also when neither my fiance or I are religious, he calmed all our worries and really made the ceremony everything we could have asked for.
That being said, I wish we would have found him outside of Timmy Gibson's site. I found the pre-marital counseling part, which I was really excited about (both my sister and mother had found the pre-marital counseling for their weddings to be very insightful and productive), was a waste of time. We didn't even schedule our last session because it was pointless and leaned heavily on youtube videos of Timmy and his wife's bible studies in their church. You can actually see those videos at any time, which I'd recommend you do before deciding. The actual talks were very unstructured and superficial.

Timmy is full of integrity. I highly recommend you connect with him and make him, not only part of your wedding day, but also a part of your life.
Curveball: Timmy didn't actually officiate my wedding! My wife and I did pre-marriage counseling with Timmy but found out he was booked with 2 other weddings the same day as ours. Conveniently for us, Timmy's dear wife, Jana-Banana, officiated our wedding for us. We were just as comfortable with Jana as we were with Timmy.
Don't be intimidated by Timmy's tattoos or beautiful hair. He will serve you like you're the king and queen of the castle. He is so easy to talk to and laugh with. 5 out of 5 Stars! Again, don't just hire this guy; befriend him!

Timmy is very talented and definitely has a calling for public speaking...his voice is soothing, witty, and touching. He sounds actually a little like Matthew McConaughey.
Timmy did such a good job adapting our ceremony to us (sentimental and a little religious....he rounded everything out and it appealed to everyone but most of all to my husband and me!) We did a ring warming in our ceremony too (passed our rings in a glass box among our guests during the ceremony so everyone could "warm" them with a little prayer or wish then they returned to us to exchange during our vows) and Timmy came up with such a sweet speech to explain it.
As soon as we met Timmy we knew he was the one we wanted to marry us. We didn't regret it for a second! Perfect choice!
