We knew then when the time came we had to book Tim for his amazing talent. We got married in December 2020. Our two must haves for our wedding were 1) still get married on December 19,2020 at Divine Child regardless of what was going on in the world 2) Tim had to video our wedding. We didn’t have our big 350 person reception as we planned but we made the absolute best out of the day and it was still the best day of our lives! The video Tim made for us is breathtaking, there are no better words. When we are having a bad day we watch our video and it’s brings back all the emotions we were feeling that day. Our review may seem to be a bit lengthy, but it only symbolizes a fraction of the effort that Timothy Scott Films put into our wedding. From the very first Facetime we had with Tim, he made us feel like family - wanting to know not only the details about our wedding, but also the story behind our relationship. If that is not impressive enough, Tim was also extremely buttoned up, detail oriented, proactive, responsive, and very professional throughout the entire process. We were truly blown away by Tim's investment in our day because he really does go above and beyond for his couples.  When it came to the wedding day, Tim and Aaron were such a special and integral dynamic duo. They made everyone around them feel at ease as they captured some of the most important moments of our life. Our wedding was originally scheduled for June 5, 2020 and we unfortunately had to postpone to 2021 due to COVID-19. Tim was extremely professional and understanding and did not hesitate to work with us to find a new date. It was such a weight off our shoulders knowing we had chosen an industry professional. We had originally met with Tim for a beer at a nearby brewery and as soon as we left, my fiance and I knew we needed to book him. He's an awesome guy, further proved by how he navigated this crazy situation with us. We cannot wait to have Tim for our wedding next year! What a party it will be!

If you are on the fence about hiring a videographer for your wedding - DO IT! More specifically, hire Tim! He is incredible and has an amazing eye for detail. We were blown away by the full video and 10 minute video he put together to showcase our day. It is one of my most treasured things from that day because it captured so many things that we couldn't see or didn't notice during the day. Tim is a must have for your big day! His skills are like no other and he really makes the day so much more fun and special. I’m writing this review as a rewatch our feature film for the 100th time! We all had so much fun together and the video surpassed our every dream.

I absolutely LOVED Tim and his team. He worked so well with our photographer & put so much time and effort into the little details to make our video amazing. If I could do it all over again, we would hire him a second time! I could not say enough good things about him & his team and you truly would make a mistake by picking someone else. Having Timothy Scott Films as our videographer was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning. Tim was so easy to work with before, during, and after the wedding. The end product was more than we could have ever hoped and imagined for. I couldn't recommend him enough as your videographer.

We are so happy Timothy was able to capture our wedding and we cannot recommend him enough!! His work his absolutely incredible and uniquely captures the entirety of the day, as well as other snippets we didn't even get to see. He truly cares about his clients' wishes and seeks to showcase them, and is Tim is also a fantastic person and we enjoyed getting to know him throughout the process. We had a large wedding party, but Tim was great at working with the group and making the entire process fun! No one was camera shy because they felt so comfortable and that is a testament to Tim's personality and professionalism. At one point in the night he took my wife and I outside for some sunset shots, but it also gave us time to reflect on the day and take a breathe for a second. It was our favorite part of the day and it was all Tim's idea! Tim was referred to us from friends and family and we will forever recommend him!!

I am the wonderfully happy but exhausted mom-of the-bride (Oct 13 2018) and within 6 months mom-of-the groom (April 6 , 2019) who engaged Tim and his team to video both weddings, thanks to the recommendation of our very competent wedding planner Keriann Nicholson-Brent. My daughter wasn’t even going to hire a videographer but I insisted on doing so because I wanted to relive every moment especially all those I knew I would miss being the Mom. After seeing Tim’s first absolutely stunningly beautiful video of my daughter’s day I got on the phone with him as soon as my son picked a date. Just received my son’s videos and I know I will watch them repeatedly for months and the years to come just like we all have with my daughter’s. It was amazing that Tim not only beautifully captured the faces and emotions of the day but had wonderful snippets of all the guests having a fabulous time. And sweet little inserts of small moments, like the bartender mixing a drink or the two elderly grandmas having a great time on the dance floor. Technically expert videography and outstanding creativity in editing. Also, this team was quite unobtrusive; you hardly knew they were there, but when we did chat they were super nice and helpful. You could tell they were really into it!! These videos are now my most prized possessions! Thank you Tim!

First of all, I’m beyond embarrassed it took me almost a year to write a review for Tim because hands down he was one of the best decisions my husband and I made! I was on the fence about a videographer and couldn’t seem to find one that fit my style. I spent days on the knot and continuously asked for input from friends when I came across Tim’s profile. I instantly fell in love with the reviews and videos that I reached out to Tim who suggested we meet for a beer. Fast forward to the first meeting where I was running late, so my husband (also Tim) kicked off the meeting alone. Before I walked in, I had a text from my husband saying “This is our guy”. In the 15 minutes I was late, those two had already bonded over beer and the Lions that there was no way we could not hire Tim. Throughout the entire process, Tim was the absolute best. He capture every single emotion that was important to us and highlighted the best moments of the day. For everyone that says you don’t watch your wedding video often, I beg to differ. I watch it at least once a month, if not more, because of how much love, joy, happiness, laughter and raw emotion Tim’s video captures from our special day. Tim and his second in command Aaron recorded everything I could’ve asked for and more in such a way that brings tears to my eyes every time I watch. I’m instantly transported back to our wedding day and can feel the same emotions I felt over and over again. I’m so happy I took a chance on not only a videographer, but this videographer because Tim and his work are SO worth it. You will not be disappointed and for all you beer lovers – he’s the best to share a beer with! We went back and forth on having a videographer for our big day and are so glad that we pulled the trigger and worked with Tim. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Tim for our wedding in July! He is professional yet approachable, listened to our ideas, very talented at what he does, and helped us feel relaxed on our big day. His easy-going attitude and wonderful sense of humor brought a lively and fun feel to our venue. You can tell right away that he loves what he does, which made us feel totally comfortable with him. I haven't seen many wedding videos where the dancing is heavily featured, and that is what I love most about ours - Tim was able to pick out who our family members were on the dance floor, and they all have a part in our video. Our films are perfect. He chose the perfect music, the transitions are smooth, and he included the best moments of our ceremony and reception. We will treasure them forever. I cannot say enough about how thankful I am we worked with Tim for our wedding. He was so friendly and easy to work with, and on our wedding day we had so many compliments from family and friends on how impressed they were with his ability to get what he needed without blocking or obstructing their view. And that didn’t affect the footage in any way. We just got our video two days ago and I have already watched it probably 50 times. The footage and how he put it together to tell our story and really capture what the day was for us, from our relationship, our love for the city of Detroit and our love for each other was incredible. From our first conversation with Tim, I knew he was the videographer for us. I instantly felt comfortable with him and it was SO easy to talk to him about anything. We left feeling reassured that our video would fit our personalities and knowing Tim would get along well with our family and friends. Tim is extremely professional; he is well organized, has a strong understanding of his field, and works with you to develop high quality videos. As an out of town bride, Tim was easily able to accommodate the many phone calls and emails. What I loved most about booking Tim was knowing and seeing that he is personally connected with and truly cares about his couples. We had a bit of an odd, no notice request for certain clips of raw footage. Tim delivered within hours to help us out. His videos are DROP DEAD AMAZING! They are a true reflection of the day while capturing all sorts of moments you don’t even realize are happening. He even allows the couple have a say in the video, refactoring it if you want something specific or different. We loved getting an online version and a keepsake version. He is there as emotional support offering jokes and laughter but all the while is never noticeable as a “videographer”. His equipment and team are discrete and do not get in the way of those present. His second in command, Aaron, even helped with the groomsmen’s ties! We cannot thank Tim enough for all his hard work, kindness, and awesomeness.

Tim was super easy to work with. He listened to everything we were looking for in a video. We didn’t want it to be too lovey dovey/cheesy- we’re a fun light hearted couple. We debated for months over whether to get a video and it turned out to be our favorite thing from our wedding day. It lasts! My husband and I were actually on the fence about even doing a wedding video, but then I found Timothy’s videos and I was sold. You know that a wedding vendor is more than just a "vendor" when you go to write a review and become teary eyed. Tim captured our wedding in a way I wouldn't have even been able to capture myself - and I was the bride! Watching it has brought us to tears and made us notice small details we were too busy to really soak in on the wedding day. It isn't typical that you're followed around by multiple "strangers" with cameras, so it can feel a bit intrusive, and yet Tim made it seem absolutely natural and was a calming force for me. Working with Tim beforehand was easy and fun, discussing with him our vision, as well as hearing from a professional how to best capture our memories. A videographer was the last vendor we were discussing, and we are so unbelievably glad we chose to hire one, and are even more pleased that we were able to have Tim. I am sure we will continue seeing great things from him online, as well as at future weddings we attend.

Videography wasn't a for sure thing in our budget, but looking back on it now, I'm very happy we added it. Working with Tim is easy, fun, and the results are fantastic. He and his team worked so well with the other venders you would have thought they were from the same company. As for our film, I can't give enough praise to do it justice. He captured the day beautifully, making it something my wife and I love watching together and sharing with others. I was very, very picky about finding the perfect videographer to capture my wedding day. Then I found Tim. He was AMAZING at capturing the entire day and put together a highlight film that had both me and my husband in tears. He picked the most genuine parts of the day and really captured us acting like ourselves throughout the film. Not only was he an amazing videographer but he also is extremely laid-back and was flexible to anything I requested. So much so that is was willing to edit any part of the video/highlight film I didn't like. I have already recommended Tim to many of my friends getting married and only have great things to say about him!

WOW! We are in complete awe of the video Tim created for our wedding. I researched dozens of videographers, but I really was impressed by Tim’s talent. We first met with Tim over a beer at a local bar, and it was such a relaxed conversation, it felt like we were old friends. I loved that Tim was able to meet all of our requests, and we hired him on the spot! The day of the wedding, Tim, the second videographer, and the assistant were all amazing. They were so professional and just a joy to have around the wedding. They even helped the groomsmen tie bowties! Within just two months, Tim had completed our 13 minute highlight reel, and it exceeded our expectations on every level. It brings me to tears ever single time it plays. When I began planning my wedding, the most important thing to me was capturing the day with the best photos and video possible. However when we began to research videographers, we quickly realized that we had no idea what to look for. Then we were referred to Tim, who responded to me immediately with congratulations and info on the packages he offers. When we met up, I felt instantly comfortable with him and could tell he was immensely skilled. He told us he has been filming weddings for years, and had just branched out and created Timothy Scott Films. He spoke to us with so much enthusiasm for what he does, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Throughout the rest of my wedding planning, we spoke multiple times on the phone and he made sure he had all of the details of our day straight. He was always quick to respond to emails and calls, which is absolutely crucial when you're planning a wedding! On our wedding day, Tim and his filming partner, Aaron (who was equally wonderful), arrived on time and began filming everyone getting ready. They were at the church before us, capturing every single important moment including the best man tying my husbands tie, my dad's first look with me, and all of our guests mingling. When we first met, Tim had told us that a videographer was doing his job right if you didn't even know he was there. Throughout the whole day, I really didn't notice Tim and Aaron there--they captured all of our special moments exactly as they naturally occurred. Tim and Aaron got footage of us during our photo hour, the entire speeches, the cake cutting, and my favorite: the dancing. Now, after seeing the highlight film and the full length high def video, I can honestly recommend Tim to anyone with all my heart. The films are beyond perfect, way better than I ever could have imagined. The love Tim has for filming definitely comes through, and his work will be cherished by us forever. I found Tim through a coworker's wedding video. I was interested in having a wedding video, but didn't know where to start looking nor how much it cost. After seeing the wedding video of my boss and his wife, I knew I needed to meet with Tim. Super easy guy to talk to and easily saw my vision for the wedding day. He traveled to Grand Rapids, MI for my wedding day with his second shooter. For everything in the day that is going on, Tim made it super easy to enjoy and I didn't feel overwhelmed with a video production and photographers around. They were very quiet during the ceremony and reception. The final production of the video is amazing! Brought my husband and I to tears. It's so nice knowing we have this special memory of our wedding day. Tim is awesome at his job and does amazing work!
