Tina was a true joy to work with! Our wedding was rescheduled due to COVID and she helped us adjust our color palette and design from spring to fall through Zoom and in-person meetings. In our new color palette, we concentrated on deeper and more vibrant colors and incorporated blush, pink, coral, and cappuccino into the design. We envisioned a trellis with a variety of roses and minimal greenery and Tina brought that vision to life seamlessly. She was very considerate, organized, knowledgeable and took the time to understand our vision for the day. Tina also helped us with florals for my best friend’s bridal shower and my bridal shower. The thing I'm most proud about our wedding is that people say it was extremely us, and for that, I give no credit to anyone but our vendors. Tina, not only an incredible florist but perhaps one of the most humble and authentic people, took the time to get to know us as a couple. We knew that we could trust her to put together a vision we would be proud of, and to say that she accomplished that and so much more would be the biggest of understatements. Tina did such an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding! Somehow in two short meetings she managed to create my vision perfectly. My bouquet was gorgeous as were all of the bridesmaids. Looking for florists was intimidating for me because I wasn't sure what I was looking for. Right away when I found Tina, I knew that I had found my florist. Her arrangements are beautiful and go beyond what many typical wedding flowers look like. I was even happier after meeting with her in person. She listens, but she is also able to provide direction and suggestions when you are unsure of your exact vision (since most of us aren't flower professionals). She went out of her way leading up to the wedding day to make sure I was happy, and I can't express how grateful I was for that. Day of, the flowers were beautiful, and we received compliments on them throughout the whole day. So thankful to have had Tina on our wedding team!

Tina did a fantastic job with the flowers and center pieces for our big day. We did five different centerpiece styles and the room looked gorgeous. She was so easy to work with and we are thrilled with the way everything turned out!

Unbelievable! Our florist, Tina was amazing. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. We did 3 different tabletop settings. We got sooo many compliments on the beautiful flowers. Tina really tied everything together with her beautiful flowers! She was great to work with during the planning stages, and I didn't have to worry about anything on the actual wedding day. I never really understood the value of having nice flowers until I saw how great everything looked and the ceremony and reception. Definitely recommend!

Tina was wonderful! She is incredibly reasonable in her pricing and totally creative. She doesn’t do a lot of advertising, but was so great to work with. She’s not super responsive all the time since she’s doing so many weddings, but definitely can dedicates the time when you meet with her and in your last final weeks. My flowers turned out BEAUTIFUL and I received so many compliments on them! She came highly recommended by an industry expert and I was not disappointed.

I can't say enough about how much I loved all the flowers at our wedding. Tina was fabulous to work with and got exactly what I wanted. From the bouquets to the centerpieces, it was all amazing. I especially loved my bouquet and couldn't of asked for something more beautiful to hold on my wedding day!

Tina's flowers at my daughters wedding were stunning. Tina is very easy to work with and listens to what you want. She stayed within our budget. The variety and colors of the flowers were amazing, from the Church to the Reception, to the bouquets. Our guest commented on how beautiful the tables looked. I would highly recommend Tina.

Tina was awesome to work with! She looked at pictures with me and listened to what I had envisioned for the day and the results were even better than I could have pictured. I was not 100% sure of how I wanted the table arrangements to look, but her suggestions were spot on and the room looked gorgeous! Her team helped with flipping the ballroom from a ceremony setup to the dinner/reception setup....and they did it flawlessly! Tina also made the centerpieces for our rehearsal dinner at Busch Stadium. I would highly recommend her for any event!

I still don't know what any flower is called other than a rose, but I showed Tina a few pictures, and described my style and thoughts for the wedding and that is all she needed. She started showing me examples of what we could do working within my budget. She was so flexible and more helpful than I could have ever hoped for. I had multiple people tell me how beautiful the flowers were, I was so excited with how they turned out. She has this unique style that all of my friends and I have loved at each of our weddings. I HIGHLY recommend.

Tina at The Special Event Florist is truly a floral genius! My sister and I had an indoor/outdoor DOUBLE wedding and Tina turned an already beautiful venue into a dream. With just a few pictures and brief description of what we liked, Tina put together gorgeous arrangements (with her own adorable vases and table decor) and bouquets. She even found peonies for us in August! Amazing. Tina was very professional and courteous, she is highly recommended!

Our flowers were unique, beautiful and reasonably priced. I gave less stars for service only because it was hard to get a reply for my questions while planning throughout the year. Other than that we were happy.

She included everything I was looking for, sent pictures prior to the event and adjusted at a moments notice when I decided to change colors completely early on in the process. Tina exceeded every expectation I had for the flowers on my wedding day. I will never forget when I came out of my room after getting into my dress and Tina was there holding my bouquet, I literally burst into tears and choked out the words “They are so beautiful!” She knocked it out of the park! If that wasn’t enough, I was blown away by the reception centerpieces. It was amazing how much we got for our wedding. To me it looked like the inside of the tent on the movie Father of the Bride – again, more tears. Tina gets my highest accolades and praise.

Tina captured our "rustic elegance" look perfectly for the reception venue! The color scheme looked gorgeous and the combination of tall centerpieces and short ones with lanterns received many compliments. My bridal bouquet was absolutely gorgeous, and I was so happy to have so many peonies in our bouquets. All our flowers turned out so well and Tina was so easy to work with- I never had to worry that something would be missing or that flowers wouldn't be delivered!

A few minor details- flower on cake wasn't correct and we were missing a flower for a mom during the ceremony- would be my only small complaints.

We had one session when I booked her four months before the wedding and she did the rest. On the day of, she was timely in dropping off and returned to the church to get the runner. She had extra flowers from the bouquet, so also added a few special touches around the church. She was well below our other estimates and fantastic! We communicated exclusively via email.

Tina Barrera is the only florist I met with who really blew me away. She is so talented and creative, and her pricing was very affordable. Everything she did for our wedding was so beautiful, but we heard the most compliments about the birch wood arbor that we used as our altar for our outdoor wedding, which added so much to the setting. I would recommend her work to anyone and everyone looking for a florist!

Tina was so easy to work with and made beautiful floral arrangements, centerpieces, and bouquets. She was very flexible about changes up until close to the wedding.
