This is my second wedding and my fiance and I planned to elope to Vegas. Reflecting back on the first wedding experience, the one thing that I cherished most was the pictures. I ...
could not stand the thought of having some bad fabric and Elvis in the background of all my wedding pictures, so we decided to get the pictures done ahead of time. I contacted Tina and discussed that we are eloping but I wanted some beautiful pictures at the beach. We decided to get the paper work portion of the wedding out of the way and get married in the judge's chambers so that Vegas would be nothing but fun.
Tina met us in the chambers and was our lucky charm. My original judge forgot about me and we had to find a back up judge. Coincidentally, Tina knew our judge and was my lucky charm that day, her connections to everyone on the island kept my bridezilla at bay. She snapped thousands of pictures in the judges chambers. And then we went to a local beach that she thought would be perfect. She worked with us for hours. Going above and beyond what my first wedding photographer ever had. She brought props and was full of great ideas. Despite, the sun shinning so brightly in our eyes she knew tricks and techniques to make me not squint, have awesome cleavage and look pounds skinnier. The pictures are phenomenal and she is the best photographer on island! Her aloha spirit reflects in her shots and I am grateful I was able to have her as my photographer.
My husband and I were married in 2008 on Oahu. We lived on island at the time and planned a garden wedding. Tina agreed to take our wedding photos as a secondary photographer (we a...
lso had other friends taking photos). She was very flexible when we decided to suddenly move our wedding up and "eloped" 2 weeks later! It was so much fun and Tina really stepped up to capture every bit of our wedding experience. From the moment I arrived to the moment we got into our get away car, Tina was close by to capture candid moments, forever moments, and fun moments. She posted our pictures SO quickly for our family and friends on the mainland. So many people could not be there and it was important to us that they be able to see the photos as soon as possible. She was so much fun to work with! and she was very good about giving us time with our guests (about 60 guests) yet getting all of the photos we wanted.
We appreciated TIna and her photography so much that when we returned to the island for a visit with our 3 month old son 2 years later we called her again for family photos on the same beach we were married on. We are just as thrilled with those photos!
As for the actual wedding photos - FANTASTIC!! They are perfect and we have MANY of them framed in our house and in albums. The moments she got on film are just priceless :) - Not just the typical photos from a wedding, but the fun off-hand photos that ended up being some of our favorites.
I highly recommend Tina as a photographer that is very talented and fun to work with.
