Cameron made the cake selection process so easy! There were plenty of delicious flavors to choose from and he had a sketch of our cake drawn up in minutes. Our guests raved about how great the cake was. I can honestly say it's the best cake I've ever tasted. Delivery was a breeze and the process wasn't stressful at all!

We were so lucky to have found Tinker’s to make our wedding cake. We loved the variety of flavors we got to have with our cake, every tier being something different. Both the taste and design was absolutely wonderful!

Our wedding cake was delicious and beautiful! Our guests ate every last piece. Cameron also perfectly captured our college mascot for the groom’s cake! Delivery and overall communication were fabulous too. Highly recommend!!!!

Cameron is a master at his craft. We met with him for the tasting and while we were going through all of the excellent flavor options, he sketched out his vision for what we requested. The sketch was great but paled in comparison to the real thing. He included florals in the sketch that our florist used in her creations for us that he then arranged on the cake. People were amazed at the visual of what he created for us and those that were capable of tasting it (we had amazing catering including a bread pudding bar so many were too full to have more than a taste of the cake) raved at the quality matching the appearance. He even included little figures of our pups on the cake to include the one we lost earlier this year. He did such a good job with her that the room got a little dusty when I saw it. We did a topsy-turvy design that looked great and had people talking about how wonderful it was.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Tinkers Cakeshop. From the very first email we sent, Cameron was so communicative, professional and kind. We already had ideas about what we wanted for our wedding cake, and Cameron helped guide us along on the details we weren't certain on. The only tricky part was picking the flavors! All of their offerings are delicious and they definitely have something for everyone's tastes. (We went with their tiramisu cake, carrot cake, and white chocolate raspberry, with their naked frosting. *chef's kiss*) Cameron confirmed all the final details via phone call a week before our big day. The cake arrived exactly when he confirmed it would, and after the floral accents and our topper were in place, it was an absolute vision and everything we hoped for. Seriously. Give Cameron a call. I can promise you won't be disappointed.

Cake was amazing, every flavor was so good we couldn't choose just one for our cake so we chose 3! he placed the flowers on the cake beautifully; offered to remake the top tier of our cake for our one year anniversary for Free so we don't have to freeze it (I didn't know that was a tradition!!) Three days later the cake is still super moist and wonderful. He's super talented, the decorating was exactly as we wanted it; elegant, tasteful (literally) cannot recommend him enough; and the price is right!

SUCH great wedding/grooms cake (every flavor was amazing.. and we did 4!!). decor was exactly what we hoped for! tasting was so much fun and we can't wait to have it again on our 1 year anniversary.

We hired Tinkers for our spring 2023 wedding. This man is a professional! We are notoriously indecisive when it comes to food, but Tinkers walked us through the cake tasting and we came away feeling great about our decision. On our wedding day, our cake arrived on time, looking and tasting exactly as we expected. He did a wonderful job, and I highly recommend Tinkers!

Tinker's was absolutely fantastic to work with! We needed a gluten free cake and I was concerned about the process of trying to find one, but Cameron had no trouble accommodating and making the most delicious (and beautiful) gluten free cake! He also left us the sweetest card with a coupon for a free anniversary cake for next year. Very reasonably priced for extremely high quality work!

Cameron was an absolute joy to work with from the very beginning. At the first cake tasting we explained our vision for our wedding cake and he delivered! We were actually invited back for a second tasting to decide on the final cake flavor, chocolate cake with vanilla bourbon butter cream. This cake was not only delicious but also stunning to look at. We cannot recommend Tinkers enough!

Our wedding cake from Tinkers was absolutely wonderful and our guests raved about it. Every tier was delicious, and the process of meeting with Cameron, selecting flavors, and finalizing a design for the cake's appearance could not have been easier. Tinkers also provides a free 6'' tier on your anniversary, saving you the hassle of having to save and preserve the top of your cake. They are truly the best of Lexington and provide excellent service and care for their customers.

We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Cameron. It was stunning and tasted delicious. He captured my vision perfectly and could not have been easier to work with. We loved our wedding cake from Tinkers. Cameron was great to work with - he made it so easy and made the perfect cake. He even added in our Rottweiler Zoey to the cake! We got lots of compliments on the cake!

Cameron is the best! He brought my wedding cake vision to life! I also had him make a surprise groom's cake which my husband absolutely loved! He even added a little figure of our fur baby to our cake which looked just like our golden doodle! Not only are his cakes gorgeous but they taste AMAZING!! Cameron is so accommodating and made the most stunning wedding and grooms cake ever. We were blown away by the looks, taste, and price. Everything was better than expected. We cant wait to get our anniversary cake! The tiramisu was our favorite flavor. We will definitely be using Tinkers for all our events and birthdays in the future. I used to think most wedding cakes tasted the same, until we went to our wedding cake tasting at Tinker's. Every flavor was absolutely delicious and it made for a very tough decision! Cameron was a pleasure to work with since we first contacted him about our wedding, and he even accommodated us once we had to move our venue from Lexington to Cincinnati. Our guests have all raved about how delicious our cake was, and even asked if there were any leftovers to take home. I am so happy we had Tinker's do our wedding cake and can't thank Cameron enough!

The cake was absolutely gorgeous and tasted amazing!

We were so disappointed in our wedding cake. It tasted nothing like the samples they had us try. The sample we loved was full of flavor and so delicious. Our cake only had a cake flover it was so dry and the icing wasn't very good either. The cake was beautiful thats about all I can say for it. Your supposed to save the top for you your one year anniversary. Well I threw mine away I wouldn't want that cake for my anniversary. I wish I'd had the lemon wedding cake I'd ask for.

You will not be able to find a better tasting cake! The tasting process was painless, Cameron was able to quickly draw up a beautiful sketch of our cake for us, and we had the details ready in a matter of minutes. They were so flexible, as we had to change venue, guest list, and date due to Covid, and he was able to deliver the cake no problem 70 miles from Lexington. We got a beautiful 3 tier with tuxedo, pistachio honey (by far the fan favorite!), and strawberry cream! Every single one of our guests was raving about the cake, and any extra servings were quickly gone by breakfast the next morning! As someone who was unsure about a cake vs other desserts and had to be convinced by her fiancé, I could not be happier with our choice!

My cousin had a birthday the same day as our wedding day and Tinkers was able to accommodate making an additional birthday cake for her that we had as a surprise at the reception. Small shop that specializes in cakes for special occasions, including weddings. So many flavors and icings to choose from but the tasting helped us choose a multi-tiered cake with different flavors. Not a crumb was left at the reception! So delicious. Excellent value.

Delicious, affordable, beautiful! We had a scraped cake look for the wedding, and at the rehearsal dinner, the groom’s cake had a Chicago Beats logo. Both looked and tasted great. And, they make you an anniversary cake— no freezing the top layer—Eww!

We were between Tinker’s and another well reviewed bake shop for our wedding treats. We chose Tinker’s for a few reasons- our tasting was a very personalized and laid back experience. Cameron sat with us and designed the perfect cupcake and topper cake. He was very communicative leading up to the wedding, and the cakes were delicious! The pricing was super reasonable, and we even get to go back for an anniversary cake. I would absolutely recommend them. You will not be disappointed!

We had such a good experience with Tinkers Cakeshop! From the beginning, the cake tasting and choosing a design was so quick and easy ( and one of the best parts of wedding planning)! Cameron was great to work with for our wedding! We chose to go with a cake topper and cupcakes, and Cameron was awesome in helping us choose how many, what toppers, etc. The cake seriously tastes AMAZING and I feel like his prices were very reasonable. Cameron was very professional, prompt with communication, and he comes to set up and pick up any supplies he uses. I would definitely recommend him!!

Tinker's designed and made our wedding cake for our wedding day this past December 30, 2017 and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Cameron and Tinker's Cake Shop. Our cake was flawless! We received so many compliments about the design and don't even get me started on the flavor of cake and the buttercream frosting! It was absolutely delicious and our guests raved about the flavors. We selected dark chocolate champagne, vanilla bean, red velvet, lemon with cream cheese, and strawberries and cream! YUM! Cameron was consistently professional and very thorough/timely with all of his communication. Our tasting was enjoyable and when we sent him a picture of the type of design we wanted, he completely blew our expectations out of the water. The cake was delivered with plenty of time to spare on our wedding day and the fresh flowers and cake topper that were left to go on the cake were placed perfectly. In addition to a perfect wedding cake, Cameron also made 4 additional gluten-free cupcakes to meet the dietary needs of two our guests. He was so gracious about doing this and both guests raved about the fact that they were actually able to have delicious wedding cake with everyone else! Tinker's is a wonderful cake shop! I can't wait to get our one-year anniversary cake this year!

Jeremy at Tinkers is fabulous! I could not have asked for a better cake shop to make my cake! First off his office is wonderful, with lots of examples and such a profession space to sit and discuss. I loved the fact that I felt welcomed into the space! He had samples prepared of different cakes with such a wonderful presentation. Other places we had tried had thrown together whatever they had available, but he had taken the time to set out individual small slices of all our choices! Little things like this make a great deal of difference! His design is included with the cost of the cake as long as it's not to intricate and he sat right there and sketched up designs. He was willing to look at my pictures as well as pulled out books of his own work. All of this helped us get the cake of our dreams. He even was willing to meet up with us about two months before our wedding again when we decided to change our cake design up a little bit. He worked with us all over again at no extra cost. He answered his email quickly and was willing to answer silly questions like "will this work as a cake topper?" He was absolutely fabulous the day of our wedding and the cake was amazing. It tasted so good and our guests raved! It was so good it even tasted great stale three weeks later on our honey moon! The icing on the cake (haha) was that he gives you a gift card for a free top tier of your wedding cake on your first anniversary! How thoughtful! It's on our fridge and we can't wait to use it! Overall Jeremy was thoughtful, detail oriented, patient and overall a great baker! I couldn't have asked for anything better!

The best way to describe everything about Tinkers Cakeshop is "WOW!" I met with Cameron five months before our wedding for a tasting. I thought I wanted traditional buttercream frosting with vanilla cake. When my Mama and I went to his shop, he had eight or so different flavors for us to try. I couldn't pick just one! He told me he could incorporate a couple of different flavors, and I ended up choosing four. Cameron designed the most perfect cake. We did not know exactly what we wanted the cake to look like. However, as we had our first meeting my mind was racing with ideas due to his assistance and extensive knowledge base. He created a very elegant, and incredibly tasty!, wedding cake that was perfect. I wanted to surprise my groom with a special Groom's Cake, but didn't know exactly where to begin. The groom has a lot of hobbies, but not one that stands out more than the other. Cameron and I started talking, and I shared with him the groom's favorite sports teams, city, hobbies, and the type of future dog we want to have together, and he designed the most perfect cake. My groom was over the moon when he saw it. Highly recommend!!

Tinker's Cake Shop does not disappoint! The cake tasting was fun and very professional, the hardest part was picking out a flavor because they were all so good. Our actual cakes were exactly what we wanted and more! Cameron was amazing and worked hard to make everything as personal as possible. He delivered our cake out of town, and made it a point that he would be there to set it all up. Additionally, he worked with our florist to add the fresh flower there, truly showing his art of cake decorating. Our grooms cake was also amazing, we could not have asked for a better place. We would highly recommend!

Our wedding cake was beyond what I could have imagined. It was delicious and the details in the decorations were impeccable. The Grooms cake was beyond what my husband pictured. He was completely happy with it. Perfect size on both cakes.
