Tinley Park Convention Center & Hotel

My husband and I booked Tinley Park Convention Center as our wedding venue and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The inclusive package makes everything so much easier and it comes with a wedding coordinator. We had Katie Pacana as our coordinator and she was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly before and during the wedding. The food was so good and everyone enjoyed the open bar! Highly recommend booking your event with Tinley Park Convention Center!

We loved TPCC as our wedding venue! We looked into this location because my husband passed it every day on his commute. We loved the access from the highway making it accessible for our guests in IL, flying in and then driving to Tinley, and for our out of town WI, IN, and MI guests! The TPCC really allowed for us to personalize and stage our set up. We loved that our event was all in one location with direct access to the hotel. The hotel staff were phenomenal and allowed us to have and pass out welcome bags with ease. We can not speak highly enough of the front desk. Also the rooms were updated, clean, and prepared for guests! We chose to use the atrium as our ceremony and cocktail space - this allowed us to access the patio if guests want. We were married on November 26th, but we had extremely beautiful 58 degree weather, so we did use it for photos as well! As far as other spots for photos the space is a convention center so keep that in mind when considering your photo wants and visions. Our reception was help in the south pavilion which easily fit our count of 220 and could have had more. Space supported our band which sounded great in this space. Staff was responsive when things needed attending - for us when tables were still needing to be served - and they acted fast. Any concerns that arose in the moment were immediately addressed. I also had access to managers via direct phone number if needed. Thankfully that was never necessary. Other highlights including spaces to get ready, sound system for ceremony, and ability to coordinate and plan next day brunch. We really felt pricing was fair for this venue and allows you the freedom to decorate and layout to your preferences (within reason). I did not have a day of coordinator- so I do recommend if you go with TPCC being very organized. They do advertise a staff member as the event space coordinator- however I was the one ensuring I was on time with payments, scheduling tastings, and communicating any needs. If you are a passive bride a wedding planner or day of coordinator may help you more than the staff we worked with for the event space and planning our wedding. I additionally highly recommend being clear and communicative in your wants and needs. At times I did feel push back or had to be strong in my wants, but this did not defer me from having the best day ever! When you are being within reason, this is your wedding and your event so your ideas should be the priority!

My husband and I booked with the Tinley Park Convention Center in January of 2019 and were able to finally tie the knot on May 27, 2022, so it's hard to know where to begin. Our experience from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. Every single detail was taken care of from start to finish - personalizing our table decor, pipe & drape backgrounds, our outdoor ceremony, indoor reception/cocktail hour and hotel for the evening that were all able to take place at the venue. My husband and I are both vegetarian and when we mentioned it, the staff immediately arranged for the head chef to meet with us and plan a meal that was exciting for us. Our event coordinator, Brie, was INCREDIBLE. Brie made herself available to us for questions, concerns, suggestions and just to vent to when needed. We loved that so much was included, but allowed for customization (food, drink, our cake from Creative Cakes and decor). It made the process easy, but still allowed us to have a day which reflected our personalities and relationships. Not a single time did we feel taken advantage of and we truly felt and know that Brie had our best interest at heat the entire time. From having to post-pone twice due to COVID, we never felt rushed and rescheduling was extremely easy. Pricing and payment expectations were transparent from the beginning and there were no "hidden fees" to surprise you along the way. Brie eased our minds of any jitters (the good kind!) at the rehearsal to ensure everyone knew their roles, places and where they needed to be on the day of. Brie touched base with us first thing the morning of our wedding to touch base on the weather to account for our outdoor ceremony and to ensure we both had everything we needed. She let us know as vendors arrived to ease our mind that everything was in order. Brie was an integral part of her day - as she can tell how much or how little communication you want to keep you at ease. Our ceremony went AMAZING and transitioned into cocktail hour smoothly. Appetizers were fresh and plenty and folks never had to wait long for a drink. To say our reception room was a dream is an understatement - Brie NAILED our vision and setting up all of our decor. Dinner was served timely and all of our food was fresh, hot and delicious. All staff were extremely kind, courteous and professional. All throughout the night our guests were telling us it was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding. We were able to wind our evening down at the EVEN hotel bar (which is attached and incredibly convenient for all) with more drinks and pizza. I cannot say enough great things about the TPCC as they gave us the evening we have dreamed of for literal years. Our friends and family are still raving about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to and how sharp/clean the facilities were, how amazing the food and staff were and how uniquely us we were able to make our space.
