About this vendor
Tiny Dog Press is a Baltimore based letterpress design + print company that specializes in custom invitations, announcements and stationery. We love working with couples in designing their unique invitation suite and wedding day paper needs. From watercolor backgrounds to custom drawings to classic letterpress invitations, we create what you are envisioning with attention to details and craft.
Tiny Dog Press announcements, invitations and cards are printed on a vintage Chandler & Price (C&P) platen press; printing one announcement at a time on 100% cotton paper. Ink is hand mixed for each order. Each item will be slightly unique due to the hand made and letterpress process.
In addition we work with a local sustainable sourced digital printing company to offer digitally produced items.

Years ago, I came across a Baltimore print of Kari's & it always stuck in my mind. When we began the process of looking at stationary options, we explored all of the standard online vendors (Minted, Shutterfly, etc.), but nothing jumped out at us, and they weren't as inexpensive as everyone had made them out to be.
I came across that Baltimore bench print again on Etsy, and wound up exploring Tiny Dog Press' online shop -- wow! What a variety of options and designs - we were intrigued immediately.
Kari responded quickly to my initial inquiry (with such personal thought & attention), and we never looked back! We wound up getting completely custom Save the Dates, full wedding invitation suite, and all day-of pieces from Kari. Kari even created a custom sketch of our venue to make envelope liners - and they were such a hit with our guests.
I can honestly say that over the last several months, we exchanged HUNDREDS of emails (everything from my "what if" crazy ideas, to last minute modifications to the seating chart) - and Kari responded to EVERY SINGLE ONE in a timely, patient and accommodating fashion. She probably had TOO much patience for me, honestly.
One of the things that impressed me the most about Kari was her transparency about her other work, and when, realistically, she would be able to work on our items (and when that meant we needed to have information back to her). That honesty (instead of just "yes"-ing us to death) was very much appreciated and, I think, set such a great tone for the rest of the time we would work together.
I think it's important to point out that Kari itemized every single expense for us, and even weighed the pros/cons of different paper types, printing styles, etc. Beyond that, she also created ENTIRELY CUSTOM pieces for us for (based on my estimation) around the same amount we would have spent on generic/online invitations.
We look forward to working with Kari for years to come
