We held our micro wedding at Tippecanoe Place Restaurant and couldn't be more thrilled with how our day turned out. We were able to rent rooms to get ready in, use space for our vo...
ws, and hold a reception. With only a handful of guests having everything be in one location was important to us.
The not-so-hidden gem of Tippecanoe is the the Event Coordinator. She was so helpful and responsive to us. She was able to keep our event on track and moving along. She had 6 other events happening while we were there and no one would have guessed. During our planning she was responded quickly and offered great suggestions.
Tippecanoe really provided a romantic wedding experience. I just kept looking into the reception room admiring how beautiful it looked. We were able to have an intimate event with good food and our closest loved ones. It was perfect.
I was really disappointed in the lack of professionalism during the planning process. On one occasion I set up a specific phone meeting with the coordinator and she completely miss...
ed it. She did not reach out and apologize for missing the appointment or try to reschedule. I did end up contacting them again and rescheduled. When we did speak and discussed a plan she agreed to put together a quote and send it out two weeks later... crickets. The food there is great but I'm not willing to deal with the service. I am so happy I found another venue.
We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was a wonderful venue. We had a whole floor to ourselves, the food was amazing, and it is just beautiful and classically romantic.
Tippecanoe is large 3 story mansion-turned-restaurant. It is classic, beautiful, and we enjoyed using all three floors in different times during our reception. We served salmon and...
a filet duet and it was delicious. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because we "rented" out each floor but there were still people eating in some of the rooms that we were not occupying which I found to be very upsetting.
