Tipsy Lemon

This experience has been the most unfortunate, upsetting, and frustrating thing that we have had to deal with while trying to plan our wedding. Karissa did a style photoshoot with our venue in June and we loved the vibe so, after a call with her, we took the leap and booked her as our bartender. In September, the venue informed us they do not allow external bartending. This was not something we were aware of at the time of signing the contract with Karissa; and we had assumed since The Tipsy Lemon was a part of the styled shoot with the venue, they would be knowledgeable in the fact they are unable to provide their services there. We let Karissa know a full year in advance, and less than a month after booking her, that we are unable to have her bartend for us due to the rules of the venue. We requested our deposit be refunded due to the circumstances (her not being able to provide the service we paid her for), but she did not respond for 3.5 weeks. When she did respond, she sent two messages and then went nearly 3 months without responding again to any further questions or concerns. We tried calling and messaging her multiple times with no response or acknowledgment. Our venue even contacted Karissa and confirmed their rules (they were under the impression she was going to give us a full refund). She has finally responded and we are working to come to a solution. Again, I cannot emphasize how incredibly frustrating and disappointing this experience has been.
