We are beyond thankful for the amazing opportunity to work with Tiptop Focus Photo & Video. Due to the pandemic we, unfortunately, had to postpone our ceremony. Additionally, we never had the opportunity to take photos as a couple as we were in the process of relocating. Thanks to Michael and his amazing team, we were able to light our wedding planning spark again with the beautiful photos that were captured. Michael Schroeder was a stellar photographer to work with. He gave perfect directions and made sure we simply had fun with one another during the shoot. With that, he made sure that our vision came to life. We look forward to sharing our photos with family and friends, planning for our 2021 ceremony, and working with Tiptop Focus again in the future.

We really enjoyed our experience with Michael Schroeder and our engagement shots turned out amazing! He was great at giving directions but didn’t over pose us. We felt like he was able to capture great, natural, shots of us. We love our pictures and we’ll treasure them forever!

I feel so lucky and honored to have gotten to work with Tiptop Focus as my wedding videographer! Getting married during a pandemic is emotional, exhausting, and stressful; however, when it came to videos and photography, I knew I didn’t need to stress. Michael went out of his way to be flexible, courteous, understanding and supportive of however our day needed to shift and adjust. Not knowing what to expect, Michael kept us at ease with his extreme professionalism, great instruction/prompting, and calm low-key vibe. His style truly captured the beauty and authenticity of the day. I received so many comments from family and friends that the highlight video allowed them to feel like they were with us experiencing the day too. Stunning and so beautifully edited. I can’t believe the moments they were able to capture. Many endearing moments we never realized had happened until watching the highlight back. It really was such a pleasure having Michael and his brother James capture our day. Not only are they incredibly talented but just overall nice people- honestly exactly what any bride would hope for in a vendor. I also can’t believe how quickly we received the finished video! We literally can’t recommend Tiptop Focus enough and would use them again in a heartbeat!!!!

What an amazing vendor. So kind, professional and was open to doing a few more shots even when the time was up! We went with their videography service but ended up getting more than just a video. We received a breathtaking highlight video that made every viewer feel like they were at the wedding. You can see the love, feel the happiness and joy. Tiptop also did a live stream due to Covid for our friends and family who couldn’t be there. We also received amazing photos that captured both candid and poised, yet naturally beautiful moments. Tiptop went above and beyond any expectation that I had and I’m so incredibly happy with their service and their art.

Emlyn L. We had a great experience working with Tiptop Focus Photo & Video. We had to make numerous changes due to COVID and planned our wedding in less than a month. We modified it to a micro-wedding with just immediate family--all flying in to DC so our elder parents did not have to travel. We discovered Tiptop Focus Photography & Videography and were very impressed with their laid-back and flexible attitude (which is needed for a wedding and during COVID), professionalism, affordability, and adaptability. Since we were not having a reception, we wanted to take pre-wedding photos around the DC Mall area. Michael and James were great in telling us the best time and location for a sunrise photo shoot. They were also great at the wedding. Got plenty of shots yet did not feel in the way. The short and long version videos that they produced and edited were AMAZING!! We are so happy with their work and know that their photos and videos will allow us to reminisce our special day forever. Thank you, Michael and James!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Michael on two weddings, the second of which was my own. My wedding was January 2020, and I planned it by myself, in three months, while pregnant AND moving! As such, I chose vendors that I knew would make my day seamless. Michael and his team went above and beyond with my needs for photography and videography. Tiptop Focus is professional, timely, has great communication, and last but certainly not least, is AMAZING when it comes to their craft. My husband and I were blown away by our wedding highlight video, and then blown away again when we received our wedding photos. They captured the beauty of our wedding day PERFECTLY. So many of our guests have requested their information for their events because they loved our photos and highlight video so much. The best thing about Michael and his team is that they are naturals, and captured details I didn't even think of myself. Best of all, they are kind, nice, and made my wedding party as well as my guests feel comfortable and totally at ease! As someone in the business, I know that this can be a tough feat on wedding days when emotions and stress can run high. I can't thank Michael enough for capturing the love on my special day. Even though things can be stressful planning a wedding in three months, the one thing I was never worried about were my photos and video. You will absolutely not be disappointed working with TipTop Focus and I will be working with Michael for years to come on all video related needs for special events!

Michael is an awesome photographer! He took my fiancé and I engagement photos earlier this spring and they turned out amazing! "How They Asked” by The Knot also featured our engagement photos on their website which was very special. We look forward to Michael taking our photos at our wedding next spring!

Michael and his brother were excellent videographers for our 3/28/20 wedding. Due to COVID-19 we had to scrap our big wedding and went with a Plan B ceremony which the team quickly adapted to, arriving promptly on-site and diligently capturing details. Our video was returned within one week. They provided us with a discount and also pitched our story to Love Stories TV which was fun to see. We were also provided with an engagement shoot and Michael made us feel comfortable and we were very pleased with the photos. Definitely recommend the Tiptop team for your wedding or other video needs!

Michael and his team are awesome! My wife and I did a post-wedding photoshoot with Tiptop Focus and the entire experience could not have been better. The entire photoshoot was very well planned, taking lighting and different locations into account. It felt very natural and all of us were having a great time. We got the pictures back extremely quickly and they all look awesome!

Tiptop Focus is very talented team of professionals! We had an amazing time during our couple's photo shoot! Everything was very well organized, Michael and his team was fully prepared, made us feel confident and comfortable - we had so much fun! Tiptop Focus Photo & Video (aka Michael and his team) is amazing and reliable. We wanted to have a photo shoot in DC. Michael organized a session in the morning at the Lincoln Memorial and another at night in front of the Capitol Building. The team is professional yet relaxed so we feel natural in front of the camera. If you want creative, beautiful photos, I highly recommend Tiptop Focus!

Michael was great for our wedding videography. He showed up for the rehearsal, which was an added plus so that he knew all that was going to go on for the next day. He showed up on time for both the rehearsal and the wedding and really fit in well. We never even realized he was there, and he was able to capture all of our important moments. In the beginning I was pretty convinced I didn’t need a videographer, however, I’m glad that I did. Michael was an affordable option that provided an awesome outcome. Our video was just what we wanted. It arrived about 2 weeks after the wedding and have since watched it several times. Would highly recommend.

Michael Filmed our wedding on May 26,2017. He did such an amzazing job! From the beginning Michael was very professional. We booked Michael about 6 months prior to the wedding day and He kept in contact with us to make sure everything was all set up until the wedding day. Wedding day he was on-time and again very professional. We got our highlight video back in a timely manner and we were very sastfied with it. You can tell he put a lot of time and effort into the filming and editing. He captured all of the special moments and if you weren't at the wedding you would definitely feel like you were just by watching the highlight video.
